Lu Xiao smiled towards Ali and then nodded his head.
"It looks like I won't be dying, sorry Little Ali, you might not have a feast to enjoy," Lu Xiao said softly.
Although Ali would always talk about having a feast at his expense, it was just talk. In taking care of him, the little girl was quite adept and thorough.
If it weren't for Ali feeding him porridge every day, he, Lu Xiao, feared he wouldn't have survived long enough to save himself.
"It's okay, big brother," Ali immediately gestured with her hand.
Then, Ali seemed to remember something, "The villagers say that Huhu's grandpa is about to die, they'll get to have a feast."
Lu Xiao wanted to laugh, but he restrained it forcefully, afraid to burst his wound.
"Afterwards, without his grandpa, Huhu won't dare to bully you anymore, right?" Lu Xiao continued.
According to Ali's description a couple of days ago, Huhu was quite the archenemy to her.
They fought almost every day.
