Isn’t This Fun?

There exist many powerful beings throughout the various realms and dimensions. Any being within reason would find itself drowning in riches for it and the future generations of its family if it were to catch the eye of even the most insignificant being amongst those in control. These beings go by quite a few different titles, some of which include: Celestial, Divine, Behemoth, Demon, God... Amongst these grand titles, only one really reigns as most accurate - Calamity... (This humble author is hoping to post chapters with at least 1000 words)

With his escape from the claws of the evil Father, the youth flashed through the halls of a seemingly infinite palace. If one were to assume that this palace surely had an end they would be mistaken. This palace went by many names: Dreamscape Manor, Depthless Ocean Abode, Infinite Realm Castle, etc.

None of those, however, could compare to the one bestowed by its creator and current owner - Supertemporal Palace.*

One might ask, "if this palace is infinite, how do people enter and exit?" A valid question when normal strength is accounted for, however, the beings that inhabit this palace are incomprehensible and hold immense power over reality. With a simple thought, they can leave the space of the Supertemporal Palace and travel to wherever they wish to be.

For those being without such strength, they simply do not have the right to glimpse upon this blessed place.

The youth eventually arrived at a door that was so normal that anyone who looked at it wouldn't even think about it, much less wonder what was on the other side.

With a firm gaze and a grin on his face, the youth opened the door. What was on the other side appeared to be an entirely different world. More accurately it was a whole new realm of reality.

This realm, although fairly normal in appearance, was the home realm of Humans. It contained not only generic universes without supernatural powers, but also universes that had various other elemental energies that gave birth to a different form of life and new powers. Despite its rather boring and generic structure, it was this place that the youth enjoyed exploring the most. The best part was that he could spend 3 years there and only 3 days would pass for the Supertemporal Palace.

With excitement in his eyes, the youth reached his hand out and pushed aside a thin membrane that covered the realm. With a light chuckle, the youth jumped into the gap, "Let's see what adventure I shall embark on this time..." Closing his eyes the youth felt a gentle yet firm guiding force that carried him to where he wished to go.

After what felt like mere seconds, the youth once again opened his eyes and looked at what presented itself to his eyes. In front of him were the almost infinite Human Universes, each with their own unique appearance and characteristic to distinguish themselves. While they may be unique, they were not entirely so. Some of them were merely parallel versions of another with slight timeline variations.

Looking at his options the youth closed his eyes once more. Taking a deep breath, he raised his arm and swung it about until it froze while pointing in a certain direction. Opening his eyes, the youth's gaze beamed into the various universes and eventually locked onto one, in particular, that seemed to be at the height of its existence.

With a thought, the youth vanished and reappeared next to this universe. with his hand he caressed the universe as if it was a dog, "little uni, would you allow me entrance to the worlds inside you? This prince wishes to experience your wonders." The youth spoke as if asking for a favor.

After a brief moment of silence, the universe rippled as the invisible shell around it opened. "This humble one would love to give young master access to its small universe. I hope you enjoy yourself, young master," a voice that seemingly was inside the youth's head spoke with joy. This universe felt honored to receive the favor of its master and had no problems opening its border.

With a skip in his step, the youth went into the universe. "once I finish my adventure I'll be sure to leave a gift for your future growth, little uni," the youth spoke with a cheery and charitable tone.

As if it had received a divine revelation, the universe's voice quivered, "this humble one does not deserve grace from the young master. Your visit is more than enough as a gift for this small universe."

With a grin, the youth spoke one last time, "surely you're joking, this prince will not leave his subjects without substantial benefits." Finishing his words, the youth vanished into the universe.

Opening his eyes the youth looked down at the world in front of him. It was a decent size compared to other worlds and such things. The diameter was roughly 15,000 miles (24,140.16 kilometers). The oddest feature of this world would be the clouds the hovered in its atmosphere, they were pure white with speckles of gold flickering within. The most eye-grabbing part was the lightning dragons that swam amongst the sea of white and gold.

The youth reached his hand out and grabbed one of the lightning dragons.

Another great day for this amazing dragon. Not only have I toasted two cultivators who dare to acquire power equivalent to ours, but I have also managed to complete my golden nest. The number of millennia it took to gather these golden flakes was torturous.

Shaking its head, the lightning dragon coiled up inside its nest and let loose a sigh of relaxation. This great one deserves some rest for its hard work. Abruptly the lightning dragon opened its eyes, "who dares intrude on my nest!?" With rage in its voice, the Lightning dragon roared into the skies.

Disregarding the power in its roar, a mysterious force grasped onto the nest and pulled it up. The lightning dragon had both anger and fear in its eyes witnessing this incomprehensible anomaly. The lightning dragon looked in the direction of that the mysterious force was pulling it as its jaw dropped.

"Hello, little lizard. Could you explain to me the structure of this world?" A youthful and curious voice spoke to this lightning dragon who could feel itself aging with how much stress it was going through. It could only look at this being in silence as it could not find the strength to speak.

"Oh shoot, I forgot. Sorry, little lizard, may I please learn of your world? A prince must be polite when conducting diplomatic matters after all." The youth reprimanding himself at the realization of his mistake.
