Cahpter 111: A good day

Bai Yi Yang think today is a good day. She meet her research team in the morning, they waited for Sir Austin to return from the meeting in the principal office. Sir Austin returns feeling angry, he immediately complained about Mr.Ling to Bai Yi Yang after that, he told them that Mr.Ling also ends up joining the meeting and wanted to remove Bai Yi Yang from the team.

Not only Sir Austin, even the three research team members also frown at this. They had seen Bai Yi Yang ability, and already accepted the fact that she is the most capable amongst them. Especially Wang Yi Lin, she is like a hen protecting her chicks now when it comes to Bai Yi Yang. She cannot listen to any criticism about her.

Bai Yi Yang can only calm them down by saying that Mr.Ling is kind, he is only clueless now, he won't say anything again after he knows that she can bear the weight of the research team.

Only then they all calm down. Since the issues is already settled, they can finally relaxed and do their job properly.

"Your speed really has taken us all by surprise. We will try to give something to you by next week, then you can start writing the results." Sir Austin said. He had full trust on Bai Yi Yang now, he is not even hesitating to give her this important task.

"Okay. Consider it done." Bai Yi Yang said with a grin.

Her teammates also feels like they were doing the least job now compared to Bai Yi Yang. They mostly just follow instructions, unlike Bai Yi Yang who need to create things from scratch. Just look at Sir Austin giving her this task. But even them, after seeing Bai Yi Yang extraordinary ability to write research papers wanted to hug her thigh, she is really amazing.

"You take your time. We are not in rush. With this current pace, we will be done in less than 2 months, we will have more time to prepare for the competition." Sir Austin said, not only to Bai Yi Yang but also to the rest of the team.

To be exactly honest, he is a bit biased towards Bai Yi Yang but the rest of the members is also doing a very good job. "Sir, where will the competition be held this year?" Ruby An suddenly ask. "Yeah. Sir, I believe in your words. If you said we will make it then we will make it. I will go brag about this in advance, you take responsibility." Ruby An said.

Sir Austin laugh at this. Of course he is confident, he won't say it if he is not. He had made a survey before, he also read the research paper before send by other high schools, even if they failed the experiments and got a bad lab results, with Bai Yi Yang professional writings, they will still make it to the international stage.

"Yeah. I give my words, you all can brag in advance." Sir Austin said. Ruby An cheers to this, she said a few more words of determination and said that she will definitely do her part well and earn a gold medal.

Bai Yi Yang nod and think the same things as Sir Austin. How can her research not be able to match a high school level. She is also very confident.

Only the two seniors didn't say much, of course they believe that their research is promising but no matter what, they don't have the experience like Bai Yi Yang and Sir Austin that will know right away that their research is a success. So they are still a bit worried.

"Senior Yi Lin, that is a normal reaction. In your heart you know that our team are good enough, you are just more careful than the two of us." Ruby An answer. Ruby An is a debater, her personality has always been very confident, that's why she can feel assured like Sir Austin and Bai Yi Yang.

"I wish I have a brighter personality like you." Wang Yi Lin add. This is one of the quality that she envy Ruby An.

"Then I really envy your brain and your face. I can only join the team because of my tiny Science knowledge, most of it is because of my mouth." Ruby An answer.

Wang Yi Lin is quite a beauty, she is the cold beauty type, she have a neat black straight hair and rarely smile. She also usually has a distant personality, so a rare soft moment of her leaning on Bai Yi Yang is scarce. Ruby An also just noticed that she is actually a beauty.

So in their team, they have two people who can become the visual of the group, Bai Yi Yang and Wang Yi Lin. One is a noble and expensive kind of beauty, the other is a cold beauty. What a feast to the eyes.

"Eh, don't downgrade yourself to that. You are our leader, your shoulder hold the weight of the team." Li Jian Yu said.

"That's what I am saying. I am so precious and irreplaceable." Ruby An praised herself, making the four of them laugh.

Before leaving to her class, Wang Yi Lin held Bai Yi Yang hand and clenched it, her looks is warm as she look at Bai Yi Yang. Bai Yi Yang didn't reject and hold her hand back.

"Thank you.. Xiao Yang.." Wang Yi Lin said in voice that only the two of them can hear before she leave faster than Li Jian Yu to their class. Bai Yi Yang was dumbfounded with Wang Yi Lin little show of affection, she also smile after that.

Li Jian Yu don't have any comment on these girls weird behaviour. Last week, didn't Wang Yi Lin and Bai Yi Yang still have a beef between them. How come they looks closer than anyone now, girls are really confusing.

"Ah..I think Senior Yi Lin is in love with you.." Ruby An said to Bai Yi Yang when they were climbing the stairs. Grade 11 class is in the second floor while Grade 10 in third floor.

Bai Yi Yang laugh at this words and brush it off. Ruby An was about to pester her about this imaginary 'shipping' in their research team before they reach the second floor.

"Have a nice day Senior Ruby. See you on Monday." Bai Yi Yang said.

"You didn't answer me yet. I will ask you again on Monday." Ruby An said when Bai Yi Yang said goodbye to her and head to the third floor. Bai Yi Yang didn't answer because how was she supposed to answer her question.

"Don't you like Senior Yi Lin too? You helped her stay in the team. She is pretty and you are pretty, you will make a good match. I will become your matchmaker. What do you say?" This is what Ruby An said to her just now. If other people hear this, they may really misunderstood it.

Bai Yi Yang enter the class a few minutes before Mathematic class started. When Mr.Ling came, Bai Yi Yang who knows the full story pretend to not be affected. But Mr.Ling is different, he cannot meet Bai Yi Yang eyes.

So when the class ended, he call Bai Yi Yang outside to talk. He said that he read her work and thinks that she is capable, she can continue joining the team as long as she didn't neglect her study.

"I will not Mr.Ling." Bai Yi Yang answer.

"Good. Then, return inside." Mr.Ling said before leaving.

Today is really an interesting day indeed. Even the Moral Education class is much more fun than usual, the teacher ask them to do activities among the classmates today. They formed a pair and they will be given a situation and show how they will solve the conflicts.

Liu Shan group was so funny. There are other that have fun and interesting conversations too. Bai Yi Yang was paired with a girl, they are one of the group that follow the textbook example, they do it correctly but it wasn't as funny as a doing is candidly, anyway there is a lot of students who is in charge if being funny in the class, so Bai Yi Yang didn't mind. She really enjoys watching her classmates funny conversations.

And like that, the school on Friday ends.

Bai Yi Yang returns home with Bai Yi Chen and Zhang Ming Ming like usual.

"Do you want to come over for lunch, I am going to cook steamed chicken rice." Bai Yi Yang said to Zhang Ming Ming.

"I can't, I need to take care of my younger siblings. Your siblings is obedient but mine is not. I can only be free after my parents returns in the evening." Zhang Ming Ming sigh.

"Then come over in the evening. We will have barbecue later, you can sleep over at my house and return tomorrow morning. I can pick you up later" Bai Yi Yang said. Zhang Ming Ming eyes gleam, then this is really doable. She can just say that she is going to study with Bai Yi Yang, Bai Yi Yang is in class 1, her parents often ask her to study with Bai Yi Yang, they will definitely agree.

"Alright, I will go before 6.00 pm. I can use my dad bicycle, no need to pick me." She said.

After that, they separated and Bai Yi Yang returns home with her siblings through the mountain road, they had a good chat. Only now can Bai Yi Yang catch up stories with her siblings.
