Chapter 3:first day in the sect

Jahdiel together with the other nine approved disciples was being guided to the inside the sect. The sect design was simple. It had a central rock road that lead to the biggest pavilion the elder pavilion, on the left of the road one may find the alchemy pavilion and the formation pavilion, on the right stands the blacksmith pavilion and the disciples' living quarters.

On the left, a large field is extended., where qi herbs and medicines are grown. The servants(the sect's slaves) are not allowed to live in the central region of the sect. A dirt road on the right intersects with the main road leading to the slaves' clay tents. On the right, a rock road leads to a small qi metal mine that is nearly completely dried.

The sect was founded two centuries ago by a Soul Awakening cultivator, that is the current head and supreme elder of the sect. The other elders are the disciples of this founder and are all in the Meridian Compression Realm, which is the realm above the Dantian Compression Realm and came before the Soul Awakening Realm.

The founder was a formation master so the most prized, wealthy, and biggest pavilion was the formation pavilion. It was also the pavilion that made ends meet in the sect. The others pavilions reduced the expenses of the sect in pills and weapons imports. But the sect still had to pay taxes to the sect association, and import raw materials like some herbs they could not produce, and metals they do not have; so the formations' expertise they rented to the near sects and kingdoms is what make the sect able to sustain themselves.

Although qi in this place is naturally much denser than in normal cities and of course the interior region that Jahdiel comes from, and is further improved by the formations employed in the sect, they do not have a naturally formed ruby earth, so they can only grow very basic and low-level herbs. Ruby earth is a highly fertile red soil further improved by a dense amount of qi.

Ey Diotu, the young master of the Ey clan that Jahdiel had defeated in the finals, was pissed and wanted revenge again the d*mn commoner that dared to defeat him in the finals. Now that the favorite second-generation disciple of the founder has mysteriously died, it was a perfect time for him to try to take over the place, and maybe one day become an elder like his father. He was the favorite child of his father Ey Feimuos' multiple children with several concubines, as he was the most talented one.

He was the biggest genius in this region, he was in the Dantian Awakening Realm at only twelve years of age and have a special water special physique that was surely much better in his head than the unknown physique that Jahdiel has.

He was pissed that his plan of crushing, humiliating, and crippling the commoner that dared to beat his own record and have a special physique, failed and he was defeated instead.

His father was about eighteen times older than his mother now. He held no ounce of respect for any of his concubines and Ey Diotu learned for him, he would sometimes torture his mortal mother for fun as his father does not seem to mind.

Cultivators were fertile until their death, and their lust is what makes the alchemist sects that can produce a certain medicine very rich.

"My elder father, please I want this bastard cut into pieces." Ey Diotu said his request to his father.

"It is against the rules, I cannot break the rules that my master imposed, at least for now. If you are going to become an elder one day my son, you need to learn to build your own faction.

Take these pills and money and buy out some people from your fellow new disciples and some other disciples, group them, and ambush this arrogant commoner and cripple him, the few years of lifespan that he would have left will make him a useful slave miner. This is training for when you become an elder." Ey Feimuos said to his son.

"Yes father, I will not disappoint you." Ey Diotu said.

"That's my son." Ey Feimuos said.

After the tour was over, Jahdiel that was exhausted, went to sleep. He shared the room with another cultivator. The room was simple, but comfortable, with a low bed made of ebony, and a mattress of feathers. He decided that he would breakthrough, in the next day. Time passed, after a small bribe from Ey Diotu his room 'colleague', carried him to an abandoned place in the sect. Jahdiel was awoken with a slap to the face.

"You're d*mn commoner I planned to torture you because of your cowardly victory against me, but I decided I will not waste my time with rags like you. Hold him while I cripple him. You know nobody will ever bother to avenge you, as no one care for a crippled."Ey Diotu said.

Have the dantian crippled at the Dantian Awakening Realm and later is much worse than at the first realm because in the first realm, one would only lose their future, but in the later realms, where there is qi in the dantian, most of the qi would burst out explosively crippling ones all meridians.

Jahdiel tried to use the will of his one hundred and one souls to stop the qi from breaking his meridians, which created a peculiar result, which he saw on the system panel:

Checking the information from the first interrogation, Jahdiel learned that trying to block the qi from his crippled dantian from breaking his meridians using his souls, ended with the qi forcefully entering his souls, leading to his souls being awakened before the Soul Awakening Realm, leading to a pseudo awakened state for his soul, which would make him stronger than a normal cultivator, but not really in the Soul Awakening Realm.

In the future, to reach this realm he would have to reawaken his soul, which would be easier as the process was half complete. This peculiar situation in his soul also led to his physique being close to evolving, but it would only completely evolve when he reached the Soul Awakening Realm.

Jahdiel clicked to get revenge. As his dantian was crippled, and his meridians would have been crippled as well, if not for Jahdiel 's efforts, the system painfully slowly removed the dantians and meridians, taking their cultivation with it, of Ey Diotu, his accomplices, and his father.

Without his cultivation, Ey Feimuos, started to age fastly. He lost all of his hair and body hair, his joint gave him an unbearable pain as they swelled and deformed until they turned into powder, he was unable to faint, however; now he could no longer move his joint, the region had become blackened like necrosis. Hundreds of wrinkles spread on his face, all his stamina was suddenly gone, and his genitalia died not even the most potent alchemy remedy could revive it. He also became deaf, blind, anosmatic, ageusic, and dysaphic in his skin, but he could somehow still feel pain inside his body.

Ey Diotu and his accomplices that became mortals would become the clan slaves, do their occupation was still to be decided. Some of them had powerful families behind them, but their families quickly abandoned them.

With his strongest member dead, the Ey clan would collapse, as the neighbors made use of their weakness to destroy them and take everything they own. The sect master started to become worried that some powerful cultivator was playing with his sect people's lives.

After his revenge, Jahdiel got a new special physique that he named Vitality-Meridians-and-Dantian, as it increased his affinity with vitality. Vitality is not qi, it is the energy that sustains all living things. Cultivators would domesticate the wild qi from nature and their cultivator organs(meridians and daintian) and in higher realms their soul, would convert qi into vitality that would nourish the body of the cultivator, while more qi would replenish the lost qi.

Cultivation can naturally retard a body's aging, but not stop it, because how much longer the body is 'keep-new' more it need vitality to be kept that way. So, a cultivator that can not advance is only gradually dying, but dying this way is surely less painful them dying from being crippled, whereas a cultivator could fastly age centuries.

Jahdiel also got his enemies qi, so not only he recovered all his lost cultivation, but he advanced to the Dantian Compression Realm, and soon after to the Meridian Compression Realm, all with a very sturdy foundation.
