He had died, but he was reborn. There have been five years since he has been reincarnated. He was now named Jahdiel, without any surname because he was a commoner. Jahdiel's appearance was ordinary here. He was undernourished like all the villagers. Hunger was expected when they were forced to pay ninety percent of their harvest as taxes. He was small for a child his age, has dark curly hair, and brown skin intensely burned by the sun.

His mother and father were serfs and so was he. They live in a small village in the interior of the kingdom, that kind of small place in nowhere that the Kingdom did not even bother to protect. To his sadness, he found out that he was in a cultivator world. He had a system that until now only shows a panel:

It was hard for a commoner to even pass the first stage of cultivation. Guards usually only come here to collect taxes, so the only protection the village has is our old village head, which is in the Meridian Awakening Realm.

The Meridian Awakening Realm was the first realm of cultivation. After it, it is the Dantian Awakening Realm. The Dantian Compression realm and the remaining realms are not now by Jahdiel. To reach the Meridian Awakening Realm, one must be able to sense qi and guide it to their meridians, gradually filling them with it.

When the meridians are completely filled with qi, one must break through to the Dantian Awakening Realm. This is done by using the qi in the meridians to unblock the dantian, so after absorbing qi to fill the dantian, after the meridian is completely filled, the breakthrough to the Dantian Compression realm where more qi must be absorbed to make the qi in the dantian denser. There is an exponential increase of power from a mortal to a cultivator and between cultivation ranks.

These realms were not divided into stages or faces, because it was very hard to evaluate and sense how far one has reached in the realm. People only can intuitive sense when they were on the verge of breaking through the next realm. It was only possible to determine the difference of raw power between people in a realm after the fight, and the result is not much trust worth because of the influence of other factors on it like the techniques each use, the level of control of qi, and so on.

Today was a day exactly as any other until night came. Things quickly changed at night. The village head was killed by a bandit leader at the Dantian Awakening Realm, while his subordinates fastly killed all the adult males in the village, including Jahdiel's father. The children were captured to be sold as a slave, while the bandits were starting to forcibly disrobe the woman in the village to r*p* them.

These bandits have killed his neighbors and his father, they were starting to r*p* the woman in the village including his mother and wanted to sell all the survivors and what little thing they could steal from the village, making Jahdiel grind his teeth, for being too weak to change anything, and hold back his tears after his fathers' death.

The system-only button changed color to blue. I willed my mind to click on this button. Soon after everything changed. Finally, Jahdiel found the answer to what the system does and it was the most obvious one. The system literally warped reality to get revenge for him.

All the hundred bandits died and their lives were exchanged to revive all the dead villagers. Jahdiel saw that his system panel changed to this:

The physique also gave the host all of the knowledge of the host's dead enemies. Also, host can only be soul-killed, if the host one hundred and one souls are killed.)

After thinking, Jahdiel saw that he had gained new knowledge. Like basic knowledge of how to fight a knife. However, the most useful knowledge he felt was of a cultivation technique and qi fighting technique that the bandit leader used. It is said that cultivation techniques make the process of cultivation much easier and more efficient.
