Chapter 105

3rd POV*

A week have passed since then, Rias recovered from the emotional shock she received. She somehow felt light as if a heavy burden was released from her body, she didn't talk with Sona for a few days but eventually gave in. It might seem simple but Rias experienced a lot during those few days, she went to denial, rejection, until she just accepted it. The burden of the world was too much for her to carry, even though they have been having time all the time they were finally released in their fate of protecting this world.

Rias was satisfied with that as she continued going to school with the others with no problem occuring so far. Its only logical since she is not the main character anymore, there is no need for improvements if you're just an side character that would only be seen after 20 chapters or so. Xander spent the whole week staying with Mashiro after informing Sona and the others about his plan, he wanted to go in another world with Mashiro to strengthen their relationship. The others didn't reject it as they know about the time gap between worlds, staying for centuries on the other would just result of few days passing here.

The wedding plan is not even ready yet so playing on the other side is not a problem. Xander already informed Mashiro about the supernatural world as the girl just accepted it without even being fazed. When Xander asked about it, Mashiro mentioned that in the mansion she lived before, there are some weird creatures that is always by her grandfather's side, she most got the inspiration of her works from them as they were too magical for her. She is used to the presence of magical beings that she didn't even flinch when Xander conjured a fireball infront of her. Mashiro was also informed about their world travel as she was extremely excited by the thought, that she immediately accepted it.

Today would be the day they will they would travel to the other side, Xander somehow felt that something will go wrong. This instinct of him helped him many times so he didn't dare to ignore it, just thinking that maybe Mashiro would be separated from him already made his blood boil. He has weird instinct of trying to protect Mashiro, maybe it was because she was too cute for him or that she was too defenseless that automatically made her in the list of his protected ones. Mashiro and Xander were being send off by Luminous, Sona and Utaha.

The world Xander is wishing to go would be included in his plans as he would become a human being after gaining the ability of that man. "So, when are you going to return?" Utaha asked with her usual haughty attitude that made Carrera glare at her, she still didn't like Utaha even if they have been together for many years already. "Probably just a few hours or so, we won't be long there like what we did in Carrera's world. That world is modern anyway, Mashiro can handle herself going there" Xander said assuring the others. They were thinking that Xander might be out for too long leaving them lonely.

They are always in check with Xander as just being not with him for a few hours would already lead them to worry. That's why his words made them relieved. "We are going now, goodbye everyone" Xander said as he gave each of them a kiss on their forehead. Mashiro saw that as she pouted leaving Xander with no choice but to do her too. "Hm.. first, I'll give Mashiro an ability that could help her survive there" Xander thought before an ability emerged from his head, it is an dangerous ability that could lead to the user's death if used wrongly, but with Mashiro's apathetic personality, she wouldn't be swayed by others. "Okay, I'll make it right now" Xander said.

Warping reality around him, Xander placed the ability on Mashiro's soul. It was an ability called 'Visionary'. The effect is simple, anything the user imagines would become reality. The side effect of this ability is that if the user imagines his own death then she/he will die immediately, it was too powerful that it using it recklessly would lead to world destruction. "There you go, Mashiro I placed an seal on it. You can just unseal if you want to use your ability, just don't overdo it since it is dangerous." Xander reminded her which she just accepted.

Mashiro then imagined a baumkuchen as it appeared infront of her. She widened her eyes before opening it, it taste exactly like what she ate before. She was amazed by that as she tried imagining another Xander only for it to fail, "Xander.. I can't make another you?" Mashiro asked tilting her head, "Ah yes, that's impossible. Anything that would contradict to my existence will immediately die" Xander said as she nodded her head. She had no choice but to make a plushie of a chibi Xander, this thing will become her best friend. The moment she thought of that, the plushie suddenly moved as it hugged Mashiro.

"Seal it, your imaginations is leaking, you might imagine some horrific things if this keeps up" Xander said patting her head, the others gained knowledge of what Mashiro's ability is as they thought it was fitting for her. "Now that's fixed, I only need to conceal our jumping from reality from that certain woman and everything would be perfect" Xander said before putting a concealment spell on them using Great Red's 'Dream'. Xander was satisfied with the preparations as they gave the girls a last look. "Everyone, wait for us, okay?" Xander said as Mashiro also bowed her head at them. "Farewell.." she muttered.

Xander and Mashiro got ready before Xander start the teleportation. A light surrounded their body as their body slowly turned into particles, everything was going well when something suddenly moved beside them. "What..?" Xander muttered before his eyes widened, he immediately killed the being that was hiding in their surroundings. Xander was alarmed when something was being mess with his teleportation, before he could do something the teleportation was completed and they were transported.

Xander opened his eyes when he saw he was inside a hospital. He looked at his hand and was confused when instead his usual hands, there was a small arm replacing it. He looked at the side and saw Mashiro who is also looking at her child body, she was still carrying the chibi plushie of Xander as she inspected her body. "Mashiro are you okay?" Xander immediately asked while checking Mashiro's body for any problems.

Xander POV*

Now this is weird.. how did my body turned into that of a child, and where the hell is this? Did I still get transported to that world? I confirmed my thoughts when I saw another young child, probably two years old playing with toys all by himself. I looked at Mashiro before nodding my head, we will try to fit in this place. "Mashiro, just follow me in what I will do, don't try to get close to anyone that is bigger than your current body" I instructed her as she just accepted it without hesitation. I got closer to the child, "Boy, what is this place?" I asked as he tilted his head. "I don't know? Mama just brought me here" he said making me face palm.

Why did I even think that asking a 2 years old child would work? Before I could even talk again, the door was opened with a little girl with purple bob cut hair appeared. She looked at us with bored eyes, before getting close to us. "Hey, what are your names?" She asked with a haughty attitude that I didn't bother since she is still a child. "I am Hitoyoshi Zenkichi!" The boy said smiling greatly at thr girl. "Hm, Shiina Mashiro" Mashiro simply said. "Xander Ranvil, 2 years old" I also introduced myself based on the body that I am currently occupying.

The girl looked at me before saying, "Then, Xander. Marry me!" She said some absurd words that made Mashiro alarmed. But she was relieved by my words, "No way" I said as her whole reality seemed to have some cracks on it. The shock seeped to her body as she looked at the ceiling in daze, "How about that guy there?" I suggested while pointing at the clueless child who just tilted his head. "No.. I had enough, let's just play" she said before looking at the puzzle that the other child is solving. "Why are you having a hard time solving that? Such a simple test should be easy to solved" she said while taking the puzzle on his hands before solving it.

The child was surprised by how easy she made it as he began clapping in awe. "That's awesome!" He said. The girl seemed to sense that we are not amazed by her actions so she asked, "Why are you not clapping? Are you not amazed?" I shook my head at the child, "No, its just like what you said, its simple right?" I said as the girl's eyes shone. "Let's play!" She said as she took our hands before she shoved some toys from somewhere infront of us. I scratched my head in wonder, should I do this? I looked at Mashiro and saw her already began playing. The little girl seemed to be amazed by her actions as they began playing together. "Hey, what is your name again?" I asked as she probably forgot to introduce herself. "Kurokami Medaka! Same 2 years old like you guys!" She said.

After playing for a few hours, the girl still doesn't want to part with us as she wanted to confirm whether there really is someone else in this world that is special like her. Zenkichi was already tired, we can tell by his exhausted face. Before I could even say something, the door to this room was opened as many people in doctor's coat entered. "The princess is playing with someone!" One of them exclaimed as the others were stunned. "Princess, they can't handle your stamina, please let them go" A small doctor said trying to convice Medaka to release us already. "No! They are my playmates! Bring us some snacks and juice, we are already famished!" Medaka said ordering them.

"What!? The Princess is trying to take them as a hostage! This is bad!" One doctor said making the others surprised by Medaka's actions, she have never been interested in anything because she can literally do anything. "Fool, don't talk about that! Bring some snacks and tea for them, this might turn bad if this continues!" Another doctor said as they immediately followed Medaka's words. "Princess.. they should be exhausted already, won't you release them already? Look they can't handle it any-!?" The small doctor was about to point at us when she noticed that our complexion is still fine, so her eyes couldn't help but widened.

"Oh, don't mind us. Here you can take him, he is already exhausted anyway" I said before taking Zenkichi by his nape using one hand and bringing him to the small doctor who was shocked by my feat. "Hm? Why are you surprised, sensei? This hospital is for freaks right? Things like this should be normal" I said smirking at her who just shivered from my words. The other doctors were also stunned as they tried to recall any of my informations. "Who is that child? I don't remember seeing him before, do you have any data about him?", "He seemed to be new, and he.. is also a monster, I can feel it" they started muttering by themselves until the small doctor stopped them all.

"They are Shiina Mashiro and Xander Ranvil, they are new arrivals that was taken from an orphanage. We still haven't tested them so we don't know about their abilities yet" the small doctor said. She shook her head before smiling at us, "I am Hitoyoshi Hitomi, a doctor here. Can you introduce yourselves to us, kids?" She asked while smiling as if trying to make a child calm. "Don't you already know the necessary informations about us? And please don't try to hoax us with sweet words, we won't partake in any of your tests" I said sneering at the doctors who were smiling at the background, their intentions were quite clear.

"Wha!? We need to know if you are dangerous or not! If we aren't allowed to do test on you then there is no benefit in letting you stay in this place!" One doctor exclaimed while pointing at us, Mashiro just watched the show while tilting her head. She still couldn't understand the real intentions of these old foxes so she is probably confused to why I am protecting her. "Who says you could kick me? I just made a friend many hours ago.." I said while glancing at Medaka who immediately came to our rescue. "That's right! These two are my friends! You can't kick them!" She shouted at them as they backed down, afraid of her wrath.

This situation became more complicated when the princess protected us. They couldn't do anything as her orders are absolute, they couldn't hope to fight against this monster in a body of a child, especially when her father's influence is too huge that he could just thrown some mines without care. "This.. we'll return later, Medaka-chan. Please try to think of their feelings" Hitoyoshi-sensei said as they back down. As expected, sucking on the protagonist is really the best way. Well, we won't stay like this forever as we would eventually leave this place after it broke.

We enjoyed the snacks and tea that they served us, I can see that the researchers are quite interested in us. Probably because we can keep up with their monster child, Kurokami Medaka is an existence that is something they can't comprehend, she made various world class people resigned because she beat them in their perspective jobs. Well, for us who already experienced a lot of things, keeping up with a child is no problem. Mashiro could just imagine herself being smarter than Medaka and she could achieve it immediately.

Still Medaka keep challenging us to many problems, probably trying to test if we are not just fakes that is trying to keep up with her. Of course Mashiro still lose to her since this girl has no ability that could enhance her wisdom and she didn't have the experience I have for living such a long life. I wonder if I should train Mashiro like what I did to Reya, the advantage of processing millions of things in a millisecond is already a huge thing here. I shook that thought away from my head as I wanted Mashiro to live a peaceful life in this world. "Kurokami-san, what did you do before coming here?" I asked as she stopped fidgeting the puzzle she was holding.

"Nothing special really, I just studied everything that a book could give me. At first they were interesting but their coolness eventually faded." Medaka said while shaking her head. "Well, you're probably interested in anything since your learning ability is rather terrifying. I can't blame you for getting bored in everything but you should know how to be human" I said as she was confused by my words. Well, it couldn't be help, she is still a child after all. But she would gradually realize what I am saying in the future.
