Chapter 34: Patience Is A Pain
Autumn was happy her mother wasn’t at home.
Once she had walked inside after Liam left, she slid down the door and cried.
Her heart felt as if it couldn’t take anymore then what it had just been through within the last couple days.
Dalton lying to her and their fight, finding out he was the one who started the rumors and why and now, Liam saying they shouldn’t be together before saying he was in love with her.
Autumn sat and cried for a long time, until there was nothing left.
She was dehydrated, exhausted and had a severe headache now.
Autumn steadied herself and poured a glass of water.
She leaned over the sink and thought about the exchange that had happened now that her emotions had been released and she could clear her head.
Autumn knew why Liam had said the things he had, it made sense. But not having him when she felt like she needed him most tore her apart.
