That turned out to be much more effective than the usual way of using the spell. It stopped him from speaking but didn't endanger his life like wrapping the rope around his neck to silence him did.
The Inquisitor layered a containment spell over Wolfe's ropes, so he dismissed them and let the large witch take the man away for interrogation while the Headmistress looked around the hallway with suspicion.
