Execution I

She pouted her lips as she thought hard on what she was going to pay him back with when she heard a knock on her door.

She groggily stood up and walked to the door.

Opening it, she saw Vivian. But Vivian wasn't in her usual cheery mode, instead she looked gloomy.

"Greetings Milady"

Vivian greeted to receive a smile from Cecilia.

"In few minutes time, I'll be coming to pick you up. Princess Linda wants to meet the contestants"

Vivian deadpanned.

Cecilia gulped at Vivian's aloof expression.

"O..o..ok"

Cecilia stuttered as she bit her lip.

Then without saying another word, Vivian left her alone.

And as Vivian had said it, she came to pick up Cecilia In few minutes time.

But Cecilia made sure to eat enough before Vivian came that she was full..

She also used the little time to get dressed.

Shw got to a hall and her eyes darted round the hall, looking for someone. Zach.

She found him sitting so carefree beside Linda, while Jacob sat at her other side.

Linda cleared her throat then began.

"Sorry for calling you all out. A maid stole from the royal household. And she must pay with her life"

Linda deadpanned.

Cecilia gasped as she turned to look at the other princesses. They didn't feel surprised as it wasn't something new.

"And that day will be tomorrow. She will be killed at the centre of Vironi city at the West. And each one of you must attend. Orders from the queen. And most importantly, she will be killed by Zach, my guard"

Linda continued.

Zach's lips twitched as he heard Linda. He already knew what she wanted to do. She definitely wanted Cecilia to hate him.

He smirked at the thought.

'How childish'

He thought.

'You can't make her hate me Linda, no matter what you do. Instead, I'll bring her back to myself, this time, closer'

He thought as his lips curled up.

After the meeting, Cecilia was led back to her room by Vivian.

"Um, Vivian. Please can you get me more materials"

Cecilia requested as she gave an awkward smile.

"Ok"

The short and solemn answer from Vivian made the atmosphere feel heavy.

Cecilia pressed her lips together and entered her room.

She sighed, this was going to be her first time. First time of witnessing someone being killed.

She didn't know how she was going to cope with that...

She rubbed her temple as she bit her lip.

She lay on her bed tired. A lot of things had happened in just a day. And more would be happening soon.

The next morning, Cecilia got up as usual and prepared herself. Vivian soon came to pick her up leading her to a carriage.

"You'll be traveling with this carriage"

Vivian said offering Cecilia a little smile.

"O..ok"

Cecilia pressed her lips together as she replied Vivian.

Definitely the other princesses would be traveling with helicopters and all of that, but because of her condition, she'd be traveling with a carriage.

She got into the carriage and sat down, awaiting the coachman.

Minutes later, the carriage moved.

Soon, Cecilia arrived at the place and a scaffold had already been prepared.

Some of the princesses were arriving with helicopters while others arrived with top-notch carriages.

She found a place to sit as she waited for whatever wanted to happen.

"Babe"

A voice called. Not just a voice, a very familiar voice that she hadn't heard for years.

Turning, she saw Bones. Her childhood friend.

"Bones"

Her eyes widened as she ran to him and flinged herself on him.

He caught her as his arms wrapped her waist and he pulled her closer to himself.

"What are you doing here?"

She asked excited.

"Ooh. I should be asking you girl"

They both giggled.

"Why don't we look for a place to chill out?"

Bones asked her smiling.

"Umm"

Cecilia murmured nervously.

"Can we sit around here. I am actually here to witness the execution"

She said to receive a surprised look from Bones.

"Babe, what changed. You are a very soft person. How'd you end up like this, wanting to see the execution?"

Bones asked still holding her to himself.

She giggled as she threw her arms around him again.

"I've missed you big boy"

She whispered in his ears as he pressed her head on his chest.

Zach arrived the place scanning everyone with his eyes as he searched for Cecilia. He finally spotted her sitting alone. He was about to go meet her when he saw her willingly hugging someone. A man.

His jaws clenched as he heard every of their conversations.

His blood boiled as he reeked of bloodlust. All he wanted to do was burn the thing she was hugging into crisp and hug her instead.

His anger doubled as he heard the name the boy called her.

He started stepping towards them unable to contain his anger anymore when the loud gong was heard.

It signified the starting of the execution.

"Alright, that's the gong. Let's go watch the execution"

Bones said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"What? You're coming with me?"

Cecilia asked him beaming.

"Yes babe. Why'd I leave you alone in the midst of so many people like this?"

Bones asked her as he carressed her head.

But all this action didn't go unnoticed by Zach. As the second passed, his aura got fierce.

His red eyes became darker as they screamed of bloodlust.

"Zach. It is time"

Linda called as she saw Zach staring at a particular direction. His aura was menacing and she didn't know when her legs became weak.

"Okay"

Was his solemn answer as he kept on staring at the spot.

Linda had no other choice but to leave. But before she left, she took a look at the place he was staring at. He wasn't even staring. He was glaring.

She saw a man hold Cecilia's waist as they approached the execution centre.

Linda's lips curled up in a smile.

'I like it that you now hate her. After the execution, she'll hate you. I love this'

Linda smiled as she stopped looking at them, instead, she started moving to the execution centre as she smirked.

"This would be really interesting to watch. I won't fail you mom"

She whispered softly to herself
