Interesting Information and Kidnapped?
Partying with the straw hats was honestly quite fun. We partied into the night. I had successfully asserted dominance by beating Zoro in a drinking contest. I did go down not long after but that's not important.
The next morning the straw hats split up and decided to explore the island. Now I would have asked to guide them (most probably Zoro because I don't want him to accidentally go in front of the king) however Jonathan had called me and said he had something to say. I bid the straw hats farewell and then made my way to Jonathan's office.
"I'm guessing you might have some questions." That's how he decided to open.
"What do you mean?" I decided to feign ignorance to see what he says.
"Well I respect your ability to feign ignorance, I, as you may know am more observant then others. So I know you heard a few things most would not have. Although it was mistake to say such things so openly." He said. I also understood the slight hint he gave of his abilities with his wording.
"Well then what did you want to say? Because I know you wouldn't just call me to tell me this much." I say really curious as to what this old man wanted.
"Well firstly, before you brand me as someone I am not, because I know you thought that, I was an explorer. Quite a strong one who has travelled the New World if I must say so. I, however have had interactions with multiple pirates who you may or may not have heard of." He said. Before I could say anything he continued
"Now during my adventures, I was able to make friends with a pirate. You may have heard of him but I won't say who because I don't want to talk about the idiot. He even offered me a place in his crew. I politely declined as I did not want the marines on my tail for the rest of my life. It would be annoying. I, did however hitch a ride a few times. Now you may wondering why I'm giving you all this information instead of being a mysterious old man. If I'm being honest, I just felt like telling you a little bit about my past. I also remember you saying that you'll be leaving after you finish off some work so take this." He said as he threw a box at me. I caught it before I got hit in face as he said.
"That box contains a ring. If you ever go to Sabaody visit Shaky's Ripoff Bar it has quite a few drinks and show the box to the coater." He said.
"Sure. I'll do so." I said chuckling at the fact that he just told me he knows The Dark King himself. Jonathan Smith is quite an interesting person. When we met for the first time he didn't seem that strong but now I know that he is one of the stronger people in this world.
We then talked about the state of the village and how someone would have to look after my potatoes when I leave. After a few hours as I was leaving I saw Nami running towards me being chased by some guards. Apparently they found Zoro who 'attacked' the palace to steal their treasure and 'captured' Vivi and Carue who were with him and are now are hunting the straw hats.
Any other time I would not pay much attention to this as this is how they usually steal treasure from pirates but this time I can use it to my advantage. I might even be able to reduce my work load with the help of the straw hats.
I made quick work of the fodder and accompanied Nami to the capital. As we got there I saw a lot of soldiers lying on the ground and smoke coming out of the building. I couldn't help but smile.
"Techno why are you smiling?" Nami asked from my side.
"Oh nothing. I was just thinking about how this was going to be fun." I answered. I then walked into the castle and took out some fodder that decided to attack us. I then stood infront of the broke wall and grinned.
"Oh yeah. Very fun." I said before walking in through the broken wall.
