Chunin Exam

(Two Months Later) (Hokage Office) *Kaito's POV *

It's been 2 months since we returned form the Land of Wave. Currently, the Hokage has gathered alot of Chunin and Jonin for a meeting. I'm guessing it's about the coming Chunin Exam.

Hokage : "As you can already guess the Chunin Exam is around the corner."

Someone : "It's already that time? When is it to be?"

Hokage : "One week from now."

Someone : " Isn't that too sudden?"

Hokage : *takes a breath * "To make it official, I hereby announce the Chunin Exam shall be held on 1st July, seven days form now."

Hokage : " Now then, we'd hear from those who oversee the training of our newest shinobi. Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma. Do you have any genin under your care for the Chunin Exam."

Hokage :" Before that, they must have completed at least 8 missions and after that, will be up to your own judgement. But normally, those who have completed twice the amount of missions will be more suited. Kakashi, you may begin. "

Kakashi :" Team 7 that I lead. Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto and Haruno Sakura. I recommend those three for the Chunin Exam. "

Kurenai :" Team 8 that I lead. Inuzuka Kiba, Aburame Shino and Hyuga Hinata. I recommend those three for the Chunin Exam."

Asuma : "Team 10 that I lead. Nara Shikamaru, Akaimichi Choji and Yamanaka Ino. I recommend those three for the Chunin Exam."

Iruka : "Wait!"

Hokage : "Yes Iruka?"

Iruka : "Hokage-sama. Those nine that have just been mentioned were my students. They are certainly gifted and talented... But isn't it too soon for the Chunin Exam?"

Kakashi : "I was younger than Naruto when I took the Chunin Exam."

Iruka : "Naruto's not you!"

Kakashi : "they whine and complain about every details of mission. I think it would be good for them to feel pain for once. Let's admit it, I would be fun to see them break. "

Iruka : "Are you out of your minds?"

Kakashi : "I'm kidding. And I'm sorry of my recommendation upsets you but I stand by it."

Kakashi in a more serious tone : "They're not your students anymore, they are now soldiers under my command. It's none of your business.

After that the whole room went silent.

Hokage :" Lets continue. Next"

The Hokage broke the silence and other jonin captain started to recommend genin under their supervision.

(A Few Minutes Later)

Hokage : "Now that that's done all the jonin captains may leave to in form your teams. The rest you you stay here."

After all the jonin captain left, the Hokage continued.

Hokage : " Now, I'm going to assign you all duties during the Chunin exam."

Hokage : "Sentsuki Kaito, you will be the head proctor of this Chunin Exam. "

Me :" Hai! "

Hokage : "Morino Ibiki, you will be the chief examiner of the first part of the exam."

Ibiki : "Hai!"

Hokage : "Mitarashi Anko, you will be the chief examiner of the second part of the exam."

Anko : "Hai!"

Hokage : "Gekko Hayate, you will be the chief examiner of the third part of the exam."

Hayate : "Hai!"

Then, the Hokage started assigning groups and expained the process of the exam.

(An Hour Later)

The Hokage had finally finished his briefing. That was long and excessive. He could have just told us it would be the same as the previous exams. Well, it's not like I can do anything.

As the head proctor, I'm to manage the whole chunin exam. If there are anything accidents, which there will be, I need to resolve it or change the plans according to the situation. There are tones of management stuff but I'm not going into that.

Now then, I'd better rest before it starts.

(A Week Later) (Class Room 301) *General POV *

1st Tier July, the day of the Chunin Exam. Shinobi from deferent village have gathered in Konoha to attend the Chunin Exam.

The classroom is noisy, there are people bickering, gathering information and even fighting. Suddenly a smoke appeared on the stage.

After the smoke faded, a group of shinobi could be seen standing on the stage.

"OK. Now let me...." a boy who looked about 19 with a Konoha forehead protector wearing black and white kimono said but no one listened as his tone was soft.

Another shinobi wearing a blue bandana with the Konoha symbol told him, "it seems you need to drop the act."

"it seems so. now." the boy replied. Suddenly, the atmosphere turned cold.

"Now. I should just fail all of you. What's the point of taking the exam if you can't even listen." the boy's tone is no longer soft. It sounded intimidating. The applicants was silent, some even shivered.

"I'll give you all another chance. Now, let me introduce myself. I'm Sentsuki Kaito, a jonin of Konoha and the Head Proctor of this year's Chunin Exam. I'll lay down some rules. First, listen to the proctors instructions . Second, no fighting without permission. Third, no killing until permitted. If any of the rules is broken, you will be disqualified immediately. " Kaito said then he steps back and looked towards the shinobi with the bandana. He nodded and steps forward.

" The name's Morino Ibiki. I'm the proctor and chief examiner of the first part of the exam. The first part of the selection exam is about to start. Turn in your application and take a seat assignment card. You will then report to your assigned seat. When everyone is seated we'll pass out the paper cot the written exam. "Ibiki announced.

Soon, everyone started moving to hand in their application and get to their seat. After everyone is seated, Ibiki took a chalk and started writing on the board while the other shinobi on the stage when to their assigned position. Kaito didn't stay and left the classroom. While writing, Ibiki explained the rules of the first part of the exam:

" Rule 1: the everyone will start with 10 points. The test has 10 questions, each worth one point. For each question wrong, one point is subtracted

Rule 2: This Writen is still a team event. Passing or failing will be determined by the sum of points of all three members in a team. A team will need 30 points to pass

Rule 3 : if the proctor determine a candidate is cheating, 2 points will be subtracted form each member of the Chester's team.

If you run out of points, you will fail and asked to leave. "

" One more thing, if an individual loses all his or her points, that person's entire team will be disqualified regardless of the others two member's performances. " he continues, shocking every candidate in the class.

" You have 1 hour..... Starting.... NOW! "Ibiki announced.
