The Wade house was alive with music and more than fifty of Sawyer and Tom’s friends’ friends’ friends. Days after the anger and supposed hatred was out of their lives. In that time, Travis had taken them to work with him, which proved rather uncomfortable for Sawyer and not unusual for Tom to have people looking at him and complimenting him. Despite how Sawyer felt, he played his part and saw his father and uncle laugh at their actions.

They went to the hospital to get physicals and then out to dinner once just the three of them, then the next time all four and after that they spoke to Beatrice and Tate and Raina. Spending all the time they’d missed together without any sort of pretense, just like Tom wanted and they all enjoyed their time together. Although no one said anything to that effect beyond the normal teasing that is their nature with Travis watching and laughing and chiming in once in a while as he has always done.
