Just as the skeleton's body passed through the door, Aethereom left control of his body and Kai snapped right back with his mouth agape.
'This guy's absolutely badass!' Kai thought to himself as he left the room.
Kai also felt that he was sympathizing with Aethereom even though he didn't know the full story. But it was obvious to Kai that he had been wronged.
The priest at the door saw Kai walk out with casual steps and approach his friends, "Let's go."
"How about our meetings with the Archbishop?" Alexandra asked. She inwardly wanted to be the one to solve this problem, too. But it was probably for the best. She understood why Kai said they should go when she saw how the priest no longer insisted they go in or even spared a glance. He looked as if his job was done.
