Chapter 49: Finally

It was still four in the afternoon and she said that we will go out for dinner in a near five-star hotel later at seven.

Because I was tired, I took a quick shower before drifting off to dream land. It was only six in the evening when I woke up so I decided to prepare myself.

I wore a matte black top and just paired it with a simple maroon skirt, ending just below my knees. I just snatched these from my luggage since I haven't cleaned up my things yet. I wore my white heels with it and a little bit of jewelries.

I smiled as I looked at myself through the mirror but my eyes dropped at the only accessory on top of my vanity table.

I sighed and took it. It was his gift to me a long time ago. The gold necklace where the moon and stars hanged. "I miss you," I whispered.

I looked at it for a long time before I decided to just wear it.
