FACING THE CONSEQUENCES 1
~At Alex's mansion
"Who the hell is at the door?"Alex screamed already shooting daggers at the door. Magret the head maid was forced to wake her master up so early in the morning , for his immediate presence was demanded in the living room. " Good morning master, the big boss is demanding for your immediate presence in the living room."Magret murmured already feeling scared for her life.
"That old man just couldn't wait ."Alex mused feeling another headache.
Alex decided to do his morning business and take a bath cause he needed to prepare himself mentally before facing his Grandfather.
Albert was already annoyed by his insolent grandson and couldn't wait to teach him a lesson. Though Alex met all his expectations in terms of Business, he was still far from being a perfect grandson.Alex never showed interest in women and he feared that he was gay as the rumour says.
"Good morning grandpa .What brings you here at this time of the day?" Alex said immediately he entered the living room."Is that how you address your Grandfather ? By showcasing your insolence?" Albert scolded. "Stop being dramatic ok, just go straight to the point."Alex said already feeling drained from his Grandfather's nagging.
"What's this am seeing? "Albert said while pushing the newspapers and iPad towards Alex's direction.
"How could you tarnish the reputation I struggled to build for years in just a single night?"Albert added .
"All the TV channels are talking about the way you misbehaved with that girl and I haven't stopped receiving calls from our business partners abroad , our clients and to top it , all the board members are demanding for a meeting with you. Couldn't you control your temper ?Cause in this video, it clearly shows how you were bullying that innocent lady. Don't you have manners?"Albert fired all those questions at once,clearly showing his annoyance.
"So what do you want me to do ? cause you certainly did not come here just to lecture me right?" Alex said massaging his forehead.
"Thought you wouldn't ask. " Albert said finally calming down .
"I want you to take responsibility for your actions by getting married to that young lady." Albert said without giving a chance for refusal.
"What! how can you suggest that?" Alex yelled already annoyed ." Yes you heard me perfectly. I want you to Wed her cause that's the only way I see for your image of an angel to remain intact. " Albert said locking eyes with Alex.
"You can't be serious. I will not marry that spoiled brat .She is brainless and mannerless so No."Alex muttered . "Quite whining like a baby and do things right. " Albert fired back
"She is from a wealthy home and strong background, which would be beneficial to you and the business and besides you could clean your image just by wedding her to prove that it was a simple misunderstanding. "Albert said , feeling happy of his idea. With that they could shoot 2 birds with one stone. cause Alex won't be seen as a gay and his business would Flourish more .Hence multiplying their wealth at a tremendous rate.
Alex wasn't certain with the idea and he felt that his old man was playing tricks on him. He swore to have seen him smirking but it vanished as if it wasn't there.
Eventhough he came from a wealthy home, he still had to struggle to make himself worthy of being at the top and that wasn't a great experience. Though he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he was no different from a normal citizen in the eyes of his Grandfather, so he had to do his best and thrive in the business world inorder to prove his worth.
The idea of getting married to that little brat irked him so much that his entire day was ruined. He didn't like entangling himself in love affairs cause they were always waste of time and energy yet he fell prey to one . He was pissed off at his Grandfather's decision and he felt that he was just being played in this whole shit.Moreover there was nothing to refute cause he was the one who entertained that stupid girl in the first place ,hence he will need to face the consequences all by himself.
