"Six Eyed Devil!" These words caught the attention of Vin who constantly regenerated his shield as bits of were launched away from the Kraken's rain.
A rune was formed without any symbols on it, just a blood colored circle that looked like a blueprint to dark magic. The rune then projected an entity of translucent blue at about 6 meters tall, it was obviously a devil. With four horns and 6 eyes, each with fear striking black pupils that were the only thing differently colored. "OOOUUHHHAAA!" Sharp teeth were exposed, overlapping over each other as it low pitched voice roared with bloodlust. Its six arms all reached for the designated target as it ran towards Vin.
Vin sweared in his head, distraught thinking fast of a way out of this. Until he realized there was a simple solution! "Relentless Crystal Tribulation!" The system's menu for a new skill was dismissed similarly to when he made Relentless Tribulation.
Light pink crystals began to sprout out the confused Kraken who thought it had won, as well it sprouted out the bloodthirsty projection that ignore it.
The crystals began as a few but exponentially grew to cover the entire body of both of Vin's main enemies. Amelia quickly became flustered seeing her two summons be bound so easily.
Being flustered was not the answer though as she tried to chant and solve her predicament. Vin however wouldn't allow this, "You know I can use multiple skills without them clashing, right? Four Flame Seal." Four lines of fire sprouted from the ground around Amelia, forming various shapes that enchanters would partially recognize. This skill was based off the Five Flame Seal and his enchanter knowledge he memorized brought down to T4+ just to make it fair.
So after the flames took their formation, Amelia would have already died in a real battle. The flames flared up for a moment and made it so Amelia couldn't mobilize any energy properly by burning away the energy she tried to use outside her body.
While Amelia suffered in the emotion of her own defeat, the Kraken wasn't having fun either. Crystals pierced through it bodies, serving as a conductor to the electricity. Frying its inside and outside. The Devil wasn't taking much damage, it also seemed to be close breaking out of its imprisonment as cracking could heard.
The cracking noises continued until eventually the crystals broke, it's struggle seemed to worked. It slammed each of its six fist into the ground with rage, as a devil, it should naturally be above this human.
It smiled in an eerie way as a blood colored mist appeared around its body. The smile became a cackle as the mist expanded past the crystals containing the almost dead Kraken, then further to Vin. After inhaling the mist Vin felt his energy deplete by over 10%, which was concerning to say the least. A wooden mask quickly sprouted on his face, weaved together this time with the design of a phoenix engraved.
Vin had lost another 10% of his energy in the time it took to make a mask. That was almost as much energy as the entire previous half of the fight, leaving him with only half of his energy left. His carefree smile was slowly fading away considering half his energy means half his fire power.
The devil capitalized on this, swatting at Vin's body that used Arcane Energy to nimbly propel itself in a myriad of directions between the attacks. A punch was quickly mixed between the swats, catching Vin who was focused on the swats off guard. The punch sent him hurtling back into the ground with a muffled bang. Following up this attack, the devil opened its mouth with a 90 degree angle. Directed towards the fleshy human who was struggling to get back up.
Red torrents of energy coursed through the air, spiraling into its open mouth until a ball was formed.
The ball glowed with a threatening color until the a beam was released with a roar… Amelia had decided to take off any parameters for her summon considering she couldn't move leaving the devil use a powerful move.
The beam landed upon a bruised Vin who was still getting up. Washing over the body that was either there dead… or was no longer there, moved out by the masked people.
Little did Amelia know, both of her guess mes were wrong.
The red river of energy suddenly seemed to become still, and then, it suddenly had cracks form across it. Then it just fell apart, evaporating into the air revealing a maskless Vin. Crimson sword formed from what seemed to be energy in hand. Those from his class would recognize this as the manifestation of his aura.
This manifestation slashed in the air sending a wave of flames to the devil, then again with water. Cycling through 14 elements until it reached the 15th element. The holy energy.
As this slash's arc of energy was traveling fear appeared in the Devil's eyes. But only for a few seconds as the next second it was split in two, burning ashes.
Who knew devils disliked the holy elements.
Vin with an un assume expression undid the seal and spoke to Amelia, "Sorry for the abrupt ending, but you're seriously a strong fighter. I hope we can spar again." Vin surprisingly didn't say something arrogant and actually respected his opponent. For a good reason too though since he got forced to use the sword.
Entering the same room he did last time knowing he would be counted as the winner since he immobilized his opponent earlier and defeated all her summons. For now though, he had to meditate.
That last bit before he ended it began to strain the hell out of his eyes. Everything had been going blurry the moment the devil showed up, which is why he used the sword manifestation that he began to understand more now. Opting not to use it in the tournament unless required to win as he wanted to improve other aspects.
The last fight even gave him an idea for a tier 5+ or even 6 skill he could make. An idea he would think about while meditating… with his eyes shut of course since they're in pain.
today is my birthday :p i should be writing a chapter sometime 12 hours from now in the morning
