Chapter 2: Wishes

"Well the next thing that is going to happen is that you got 3 wish and you will be reincarnated as a creature you want to be right before your death" say E.D with a small smile on his face

When Edward heard the first half of the sentence he was very excited that he got 3 wish but after finish hearing the final half of the sentence he was surprise for a moment and ask a question

"You mean I will reincarnated as a megalodon?"

"Yes but you will start as a baby and will grow. Don't want you to just reincarnated as an already adult megalodon. That would be too boring for me and other R.O.B watching your journey in your second life" say E.D while holding the cup and taking a sip of the tea.

Edward nod his head. Of course it would just fine if he was reincarnated as an already adult megalodon.

He doesn't need to work hard anymore and just enjoy his life but then he would feel boring with his life because he doesn't experience his grow and learn while he is growing up.

Beside, he need to learn how to control his new body and if he doesn't know how to control his new body and stop moving then he could suffocate and die.

"I accept. It is important for me to learn from the beginning so. There is no use to be an already adult megalodon and not know how to control my own body and die because of simple think like suffocating.

It's like a person who just start playing a game in like minutes and suddenly his character got the most overpower items, max stats and max skills.

He would be confuse on how to control his character and how to use his items and skills and could easily die or kill by more experience player who doesn't even have anything he has and only moderate everything but know how to use his items, skill, and stats properly."

"You have a point there Edward but you don't need to worry about dying of simple thing like suffocation because you don't know how move. I will ingrain in your souls on how to control your new body so you feel like it is natural" reply E.D with a smirk on his face.

Edward feel relieve after hearing what E.D say and he stay quiet for a moment to think what he want to use the wish on.

After couple minutes of silence, Edward open his mouth and say.

"Will I be reincarnated with a system and what world will I be reincarnated into?"

"You will not be reincarnated with a system. You need to use your wish to have that and for the world you gonna be reincarnated into. Well about that, you going to know when you arrive in that world. Don't want to spoiler it" say E.D with a smile on his face meanwhile inside his mind is otherwise.

(Actually I don't know what world should I reincarnated you into)

"I understand. For my first wish, I want to have a system but I want it to be just like I imagine it inside my mind with all the features and abilities in it because explaining it would be already to long. You can read my mind right" say Edward with the last sentence in an questioning tones

"Yes I can do that but I just didn't want to read your mind right because I want to have some conversation with you.

That can be done but let me tell you something. Asking for a system is already use one of your wish but you also want it to be change to how you imagine it inside your head. That just use 2 of your last wish."

Edward face turn into a shock expression hearing what the man say and curse himself inside his head for making that wish before asking question about it first.

E.D chuckle for a moment seeing Edward expression which didn't go unnotice by Edward who immediately compose himself and look down with a sad expression thinking he has use his last 2 wish accidentally.

"Ahem, well then I know that you didn't mean to do that and because it was an accident, I will only take one of your wish which left you with your last wish" say E.D after he finish chuckling.

Edward was overjoy after he heard what E.D say and just with excited with a happy face. After seconds pass by did he realise that there is still someone in this room with him and immediately sit and try to not look at the face because of his embarrassment moment.

E.D just smile at what is happening infront of him and sad to Edward.

"I know you are very happy of what just happen but you better think carefully for your last wish and this time I won't give you any chances if you make a mistake again."

Edward gulped down his saliva and think carefully for his last wish and the room when silent for a moments meanwhile E.D was just drinking his tea.

"I want to have my own place where only I can get in there and I can bring items or creatures in and out from there." Edward reply to E.D after 5 minute or so of silent and he hope that this wish can be granted.

E.D put down the cup and make a thinking expression for a moment and say.

"So essentially an inner world?" ask E.D

"Well yes actually. At first I want to ask for something different actually" replied Edward with his hand scratching the back of his head.

"Oh and what exactly is it" ask E.D while he lean his body to the front and he lay his head on his hand.

"Do you know a game call 'Maneater' in which the game has a place call grotto?" question Edward toward E.D

"Yes I do know what that actually and what it is use for. The grotto serve as fast travel points, save locations. The Grotto is also the only location where you can equip and upgrade in the Evolutions menu for the shark you play as" answer E.D

"Yea that is what I want to ask for but then I remember that I will be reincarnated and grow as a very big shark and it is a real world and not a game where the peoples will just ignored that place.

In a real world if they see a 10meter(32ft) shark with superpower in the ocean and swimming around attacking everything in it sight and the shark live inside underwater cave

Of course everyone gonna search for it 24/7 in the ocean to either kill it or do research on how it grow so big and how it gains it power and others things.

They also will find where the shark live in and make an ambush to capture or kill the shark. They won't just ignored it and not just the military, the entire world will search for the shark and once they find all of the grotto the shark live in.

The shark can't hide anymore to grow, recover from it injuries and even rest because it will be in constant fight and running to survive" say Edward and then he took a long breath and drink the cup of tea that is on top the table to calm himself down.

"Well that is a long sentence and honestly you got a point there so it is granted but I want to add something in that wish of yours.

Don't worry I didn't remove anything from your wish, just add a requirement and other thing in it and I think you gonna like it" say with a smile and a low chuckle at the end of his sentence.

Edward was happy and relieve that his final wish is granted but still thinking about what the man infront of him did with his final wish.

In the end he didn't think much about and just thought that he need to do something to unlock his inner world.

"Well, this is the end of our conversations and good luck on journey in your next life" say E.D while he stand up and hold his hand out for a handshake with a smile on his face.

Edward immediately stand up from his sit and greet the handshake with also a smile on his face and feel very excited on what is going to happen next.

"Thank you sir for giving me this second chance and for granting all my wishes even if it use more then my 3 wish limit."

"No problems Edward Jasper" replied E.D

"Beside I like watching overpowered MC story" whisper E.D in low voice making Edward unable to understand what he is saying.

"What did you say?" question Edward

"Nothing. OFF YOU GO!" answer E.D and he snap his finger and Edward disappear from the room.
