CHAPTER 3 - Shelter.

While Zei wasted his time playing with zombies, normal people fought to stay alive.

Zei has it easy in this world with zombies, but that doesn't mean everyone has his luck.

In a certain city full of zombies, a group of survivors enter a school and close the door.

Tired of running so much, they try to catch their breath and sit on the floor to rest.

"The zombies didn't see us, and they can't open doors. If we don't make noise, we'll be safe."

"We need to check the classrooms and take anything that might be useful."

"And block the entrances."

"Yes, let's go..."

"Son of a bitch!"

The survivors heard a girl scream. It wasn't a scream of fear, it was a furious scream.

They immediately got up when they heard that.

"She's in danger! We must help her!"

But they're the ones who will need help.

One of the walls was destroyed. The cause of that was not a zombie, it was a giant creature very different from zombies.

Enormous muscles, a huge fat body, and a horrible smell. That zombie didn't look human at all; it was far from being one.

"What is that?!"

"I-is it a mutated zombie?"

"N-no... It looks like an... Orc?"

Orcs, huge humanoid pigs addicted to sex. Fantasy creatures that don't exist, but there's a real one here.

The Orc roared, and the door behind the survivors was destroyed without any difficulty.

A second Orc entered the school, filling the poor humans with fear.

"R-run!!"

But it's impossible to escape from the Orcs.

The Orc ran towards them and smiled.

"Rare meat."

A little far from there, a woman was sitting on the lifeless body of an Orc, looking at a black rock.

Frustrated, she clicked her tongue and put the rock in a bag.

"The guild won't give me anything for a black rock. Useless Orcs. They looked so strong and ended up being useless. Damn it. Fuck off, you shitty Orcs!"

A woman who shouldn't exist in this world.

She was a woman with pointed ears, short blonde hair, blue eyes, and strange clothing. She wore very unusual and flashy clothes. A bow on her back, a short white ripped blouse, a short black skirt, and black fingerless gloves. She was a girl with few breasts, unlike her companion, who approached her.

"I checked the area. We're in an unknown place, and there are thousands of Undead... Although these are rarer."

She was a huge three-meter-tall girl. Unlike her companion, she had exaggeratedly large breasts, long white hair, red eyes, and simply wore a red bra and a white skirt. Most of her skin was pink-white, except for the right half of her face, which was tan.

"Why did we appear in this place? What kind of magic did this, Rem?"

"Mmm... Ah... I... I don't know."

The two Orcs came out into the schoolyard, where they were.

They were mercilessly devouring the human bodies.

Seeing that, they didn't feel fear or disgust, as if they didn't care. They just exchanged glances.

"For now, we must focus on surviving. The others must be here too."

"Tsk. What a nuisance."

(Pov- Zei.)

"Fufu."

I approach and move away from the zombies. This is fun. At one point they try to kill me, but then they ignore me.

Hahahahahaha! Poor things. They think I will let them eat me. Only the girls...! Well, only the girls could, now no one can... Ah, goodbye, romance and sex life.

"They attack me if I get too close... Why? Am I becoming human again?

Honestly, considering my wound has healed, I doubt it very much. Something strange is happening to my body, but what?

I move away from the zombies. I've had enough fun, I have to move on.

Being human will bring advantages and disadvantages... Do I want to become human again? I'll reflect on that later.

Being a zombie has many disadvantages, but the advantages it has will allow me to survive in this world... Ah... Shit, I don't know.

"Hello, I brought you some food!

It's not much, but it will be enough for them. Then I'll look for more food in other houses.

"By the way, why don't you stay with us? It would be better if normal humans are together and we help each other. Maybe you can use your immunity to kill the zombies and help people.

"A-are you a zombie?"

"Yes, that's why I can't be near people, they could be afraid of me... And there's another reason, a bit more disturbing."

"What is that reason?"

It's better to tell her, to avoid problems.

"When I fall asleep, I lose my mind and turn into a complete zombie."

I open the door.

"That's why I keep away from people... I'm a monster... Goodbye."

I leave and close the door.

"Maybe I should help kill zombies... Yes, like a zombie hero... Although the zombies are starting to attack me..."

I approach a zombie.

"Why are you attacking me?"

I get closer than a meter and it tries to attack me.

"Shit. Why is this happening?"

I try to run, but I trip and fall to the ground... Ah... Uwaaaah! I'm an idiot!

"Shit!"

The zombie gets on top of me. Disgusting! You stink too much! Huh?! Disgusting, his clothes are stained with feces! Why?! Eww! I want to vomit!

"Get away! Only women have permission to get on top of me!"

It tries to bite my neck and I push it away with my hands.

"Go away... Go away..."

I put my hands on its neck and strangle it.

"I told you... to get away!"

I strangle it with all my strength and break its neck... Huh?! Did I break its neck?! Its head fell to the ground! Great! I didn't know I was so strong...! Or was it weak? Anyway, it doesn't matter! I decapitated a zombie with my hands! Great!

"Yes! In your face, kissing the ground...! Eww!"

Some of its blood fell into my mouth!

Disgusting! It tasted like feces! Was this zombie eating feces?! That's the worst fetish that exists!

"Eww!"

I stand up and start spitting. Ahhhhhhhh! Disgusting!

"Zombie blood, how gross."

But... I did something incredible.

I see my hands... Am I... Am I strong? The zombies haven't gone through the decomposition process yet... I decapitated a zombie with my hands... Do I have superhuman strength or something?

"Wow... Did I do that? I broke its neck."

More zombies are coming... I better stay away from them.

I move away from the zombies.

Ah, I need to drink water... No, a soda is better. I need to get the taste of shit out of my mouth.

M-my head started to hurt? Oh no... Not again.

"Ahhhhhhh!! You've got to be kidding me!"

M-my legs lost their energy and I fell to the ground.

I-I'm so sleepy... No, please, I don't want to... sleep.

After having a wet dream with the lady, I woke up in the middle of a forest... Yes, a forest... Everything around me is trees. Am I in a protected area?

"What happened to me?"

I get up... I don't recognize this place... Wow, I feel like a drunk waking up peed on a street.

"Where am I?"

I still have my glasses... My clothes are fine... I don't feel any pain... I'm fine.

... I'm very far from my new house.

Well... Oh... I guess I have to get used to the weird things that happen to me.

"Did I turn into a zombie?"

How strange... I wasn't sleepy.

I check my mouth... Okay.

I sighed in relief. I didn't kill anyone. I was afraid of killing again.

"Okay, I'm not stained."

I check my shirt. Phew. It's still the same.

"Nothing. Perfect."

I start walking... I think I'm a little lost.

A little? I'm lost! Oh, dear! I had already found a new home! Ah, what do I do?

"Why am I in a forest...? Huh? Again?!"

My head started hurting again! Dammit! Why is the headache so strong?

"Shit!"

... Huh? I remember what happened to me...

Don't be a douche... Are zombies really that stupid?

"Are you serious?"

Zei woke up completely transformed into a zombie.

"Ahhh."

As he stood up, he noticed the presence of a very adorable rabbit and started chasing it.

"Ahhh!!"

One hour later.

He followed the rabbit into a forest and suddenly fell to the ground.

(Pov- Zei.)

... Am I stupider than normal zombies? I was the only idiot who followed that rabbit!

Ahhhhhhh! I'm stupider than zombies!

"I was chasing a damn rabbit!"

I'm an idiot, but not that much... My complete zombie self is a big idiot.

Ah... Well, at least now I know I do eat animals. Ah, I won't be able to have pets.

I keep walking... How long will it take to get there?

"I ran for a long time chasing a damn rabbit!"

Wait... Why did I become a zombie in the first place? I didn't fall asleep... I think... Or did I? Ah, I don't know... Wait...

I stop.

"Although I became a zombie when I wasn't asleep... Of course, it's because the blood got in my mouth."

It's the only explanation I can think of. Human blood activated my zombie nature.

I keep walking... How boring... And I was planning on having an epic adventure killing zombies.

I have to be careful with the blood.

I see them in the distance, two girls and a boy.

That boy makes me so envious. He's in a zombie apocalypse with two beauties... Are they his sisters or did he form his own harem?

I walk away from them. I don't want them to see me.

"Hey, are you alone?!"

... I didn't make it in time.

"Shit."

I turn around.

"Yes, but I'll be fine! Goodbye!"

I walk away. I shouldn't get involved with humans.

"Don't you want to join us?"

It will hurt to refuse this, but I have to.

"No, thank...! Ah...

I see a group of zombies in the distance. Ahhhhhhhh! They're heading towards them!

"Escape!"

"Huh?"

The three turn around and see the zombies.

"Ahhhhhhh!!"

... Was the boy the only one who screamed? What a crybaby.

One of the girls covers his mouth.

"Don't scream, idiot!"

Yes, they're idiots... Don't make so much noise!

The zombies start running... Too late. They've already been alerted!

"Shit!"

The boy starts shooting.

"Shit! Why don't I hit them?!"

... So much stupidity will make me vomit.

Don't waste bullets, idiot!

I walk towards them. They will need a lot of help.

"Could you give me a knife?" I said to one of the girls.

"Yes, take it."

A girl gives me a knife and I take it.

"You must get away."

I walk towards the zombies.

"What are you doing?!"

I start killing zombies. Knife goes in and it dies. Knife goes in and it dies... I have to think of cooler ways to do this.

"Why don't they attack him?"

... Oh... It's true.

I realize that the zombies are ignoring me, even though I'm very close.

"They don't want to attack me anymore?"

Three zombies are heading towards them. Ahhhhhh! Idiots, I told them to stay away! Dammit!

"Run!!"

The three of them start running... Why did they just stand there when I told them to stay away? They're stupid!

"Ahhhhhhh!!"

I run towards the zombies as fast as I can.

"Here I am!!"

Huh? I easily catch up to them... Huh? I caught up to them in less than 2 seconds... Did my speed increase too?! I'm too fast!!

"A-am I faster?"

...Seriously, body... Regeneration, speed, strength... What's happening to me?!

A few seconds later, I finish the job.

I killed them all... Good... Perfect.

"Okay... That's everyone. Will you be paying with cash or card?" I say with a smile, even though I'm quite nervous on the inside.

What's happening to my body?!

"Incredible!"

"Why didn't they attack you?!"

Ah... I'm tired of repeating my story.

"It's a secret. Goodbye."

I walk away from them.

Damn... Why are they ignoring me again? What am I really? I'm a damn freak... Huh?

A girl grabs my arm. Wow, her hands are so soft.

"Please, tell us."

In a normal situation, I would be happy, but I can't relate to normal humans.

"I can't... Goodbye."

She lets go and I start walking.

"We're going to a shelter that's a few kilometers from here, we heard it on the radio. Don't you want to come with us?"

"I can't be around people, but... where is it?"

"The shelter is in the city of Hersi, they say the city is zombie-free."

"A zombie-free city? I don't think it's true."

"We're hoping it is."

"Well... I think I'll go later. Goodbye."

I start running.

"Well... Maybe I'll help that lady get to the shelter."

I'll leave her at the shelter and live in solitude for the rest of my life... Nah. I'll leave her and have adventures. I hope to find people like me.

I arrive at the village... Well... I have only one thing to say.

"This is incredible!!"

I keep running... I never get tired! My body is incredible! It's fast, agile, never gets tired, and regenerates! My body is amazing!

"I ran for about an hour and didn't get tired!"

I arrive at the house where I slept and go in.

"Well, I need knives and the machete."

I take two knives and the machete. I found this machete in the tools that the owner of this house had. It's much better than the previous one.

"Well, I think I should do what the lady told me and help the people."

I leave the house and get on the motorcycle.

"Well, I have to make a lot of noise and attract the zombies."

I start the motorcycle.

"Let's go!!"
