The Weakest Adventurer

When Axel touched the digital window, suddenly a strange sensation came over him. He felt like he was connected to something bigger, an entity or system he couldn't understand. A series of small digital windows appeared around him, floating in the air like holograms surrounding him.

Axel looked in surprise and confusion at the windows. Each window seemed to contain information or options he didn't understand. Strange texts and symbols decorated the digital screens, creating a futuristic and mysterious appearance in the dark dungeon.

"What's this?" Axel muttered, trying to understand the events in front of him. He felt a strange energy flowing through his body, as if he was connected to something far greater than his understanding of this world. The hunger that previously disturbed his mind was now replaced by a deep curiosity towards the digital system that had just appeared before him.

Axel paid close attention to the human image that appeared in the digital window in front of him. Above the picture, there is a name that says "Axel". However, what caught his attention was the red color on the left arm of the picture. This reminded him of his left arm which was injured in the previous battle.

Not only that, around the image display, Axel saw several empty slots, as if waiting to be filled with something. All this made him even more curious about the meaning and purpose of the digital window that appeared before him. What is the meaning of all this? What should he do next? His mind was filled with unanswered questions.

"Isn't this kind of status quite weak?" Axel also felt pessimistic when he saw his status. It was natural that it would take a lot of effort for him to defeat one slime.

When Axel touched the small flashing digital window in the left corner of the screen, the window suddenly expanded itself and revealed the message hidden inside. The message appeared clearly in front of him:

"Axel Character Status Update: Level Rank Up!"

Axel looked at the message with a mixture of confusion and excitement. Unexpectedly, the system gave him news that his character's level had risen, providing an opportunity to allocate new status points.

With a feeling of curiosity, Axel tried to look at the two displays more carefully. Maybe there is an explanation or information that was missed. He compared carefully between his adventurer card and the status window that had just appeared on his screen.

Suddenly, after a moment of attention, Axel realized that his adventurer card might need some time to synchronize the latest information from the strange system that suddenly appeared. While the status window shows immediate level changes, the adventurer card may require more updating or processing to reflect these changes.

Despite this difference, Axel felt more confident in the information that had just appeared in his status window. He preferred to follow the guidance of the digital window that showed his level had risen, and took into account the increase in attributes gained.

Suddenly a large digital window appeared and displayed the words 'Main Quest'.

"Main Quests?" Axel looked confused when suddenly the notification appeared right in front of him.

Defeat the Monster: Get ready to fight with the monster and defeat it with the player's strategy and fighting skills.

Gain Victory: Get victory over these unique monsters to complete the quest and prove the player's strength as an adventurer.

Axel's hands trembled as he stared at the daunting task laid out before him. "Defeat unique monsters?" Those words seemed to taunt him, awakening panic within him as he realized the system's intention was probably not to guide him to become strong, but to lead him towards death.

How could he possibly have any hope of surviving, especially being involved in battle, with one arm crippled by the Razorback Troll's attack. The pain throbbed again as he clenched his fists, struggling in vain with the situation. Thoughts of failure and defeat clouded his mind, every heartbeat a reminder of his vulnerability.

Despite the lingering uncertainty, Axel's hunger gnaws at him—a constant reminder of his own destiny. The shadow of the dungeon is tense, increasing the sense of panic and the burden of difficulty in surviving.

"No... I can't give up," Axel whispered, his voice barely audible above the distant dungeon symphony of moans of monsters and echoing drops of water. Axel took a deep breath, he was determined to go through this dangerous path.

The digital window remains in front of him, an unwavering challenge. Axel's eyes flashed across the screen, the words taunted him with a firm demand. He needed a plan, a glimmer of hope to hold on to amidst the darkness.

Enduring a wave of despair, Axel steeled himself. "If I want to survive this, I have to think like an adventurer," he whispered, his gaze fixed on the knife in his hand.

Horn Rabbit's lifeless body lay at his feet, a momentary triumph amidst the looming trials. Axel's mind raced, searching for a strategy, a glimpse of resilience to challenge the odds that threatened him.

A sense of relief washed over him when Axel realized that there was no time limit binding the completion of this quest. Now, he had enough time to carefully plan how to deal with the unique monsters on the 48th floor.

However, there was one thing he couldn't ignore: preparation. With only a dagger in his right arm, Axel realized that he had to be wise in choosing the time and place to fight. After successfully defeating Horn Rabbit, he found himself leveling up. Maybe, by defeating other monsters, he could gain a higher level increase.

With that in mind, Axel decided to use a smart tactic. Rather than attacking directly, he would try to approach a monster that was alone and unwary. This may sound like a cowardly tactic, but in circumstances like these, safety is of the utmost importance.
