18. My little chat with Fury

A.N. This is a short chapter. Very short chapter, but I just like where it ended.

I sat down in a chair in a warehouse with a file in front of me.

"Do you plan on coming out anytime today?"

Fury: "Look at the file."

I look down and see Avengers Initiative written on it.

"I already told you, I'm not joining your super secret boy band." - "Just look at it. It's Agent Romanoff's assessment of you." - "I don't have to look. I know what it'll say." I side it to him. "Now you know what I'd say, so why did you invite me here?"

He stared at me for a second. "How'd you figure Agent Romanoff out. She didn't tell me and I know her work. She's good. Dangerously good."

I leaned back in my chair and smiled. "I'll tell you what I told my father all those years ago. I broken into the pentagon and your guises files at least access to your guises files are right there." - "So you're admitting to Hacking into a government organization." - "Yeah. What of it." - "You're not untouchable Mr. Stark."

I just shrugged. "From you guys. I am. Fury let's get one thing straight. Just walking into my house wasn't cool. I don't like that, so I went back in and got everything I can on you guys. If you try anything. Anything at all against me or my family. I'll end you." - "I don't take to kindly to your threats." - "I said it as a promise. Your Organization likes to stay in the shadows. I'm fine with that, But it only stays in the shadows as long as I allow it. Remember that one tweet one slip up and all your files accidentally go public.

And on that note of you wanting to stay in the shadows I have A proposition for you."

Fury chuckled. "Did you seriously just threaten me, then say you Have a proposition for me." - "It's very beneficial." - "Why not. Amuse me." - "I have Stark buildings all over the US, with a bunch going up in different countries." - "I heard." - "I can set up a area for your Agents to go to drop off.. whatever and have it shipped to where it needs to go. It'll look like a Stark shipment and has no risk of being noticed." - "Why would you do that?" - "Let's just say, I'm feeling.. generous." - "I don't buy it." - "I don't really care. The offer is there. If you want it say, yes. If not I'll be on my way. Either way, it doesn't really effect me."

I stood up and started to walk towards the front door, but stopped when Fury spoke. "Wait. You have a deal. I can make you a consultant. That way it's official." - "I didn't Agreed to Consult you on anything." - "I know you want something out of this. This way we get something out of this also."

I burst out laughing. "The balls you have. I love it. I give you safe passage for your things for free, and you still want something from me. Fine I'll do Consultants. Only when I want to, and I get either 500,000 each time, or something of my choice." - "Deal."

I turned around and shook his hand. "I'll see you around then." With a pop I was sitting in my car with a smile on my face. I really can't get over the balls he has.
