Chapter 68: Creations

Arthur knew that Nicolas Flamel was trying to test him, but he didn't say anything.

Closing his eyes, Arthur allowed his magic to spread out, perceiving everything around him.

Under the perception of magic, the whole world was divided into two colors. One represented magic with its lively colors, while the other was a black void empty of magic.

Suddenly, Arthur discovered that besides Nicolas Flamel and himself, there were other sources of magic in the room.

The air conditioning, television, and electric fans turned out to be alchemical creations.

Opening his eyes, Arthur looked at Nicolas Flamel in disbelief and asked, "Mr. Flamel, are these household appliances all alchemical creations?"

Nicolas Flamel saw that Arthur had guessed the answer and was satisfied.

He clapped his hands and said, "Alright, no need to pretend. The guests have already discovered you."

Instantly, these household appliances underwent some transformations. Each of them grew limbs and mouths.

"Welcome, Master Gaunt!" exclaimed the air conditioner.

"Yeah, yeah, we've been so bored accompanying our master. It's been a long time since we had any guests," the electric fan sounded in, nodding its blades in agreement.

"Me too!" came the voice from the television.

As Arthur looked at these household appliances, he suddenly felt that Nicolas was an amazing old man.

He had turned ordinary items from the Muggle world and turned them into alchemical creations that were highly intelligent.

It was similar to the tools Arthur had brought for Nicolas Flamel to test them.

When he thought about this, he went to Nicolas Flamel ready to show off his own little creations.

"Mr. Flamel, I also have a few small things here that I'd like to show you."

Nicolas was also curious and wanted to see what the young wizard could do.

Arthur opened his personal suitcase and took out a small bag.

The three little yellow beings immediately lined up, trying to appear serious as they looked at Nicolas.

As he looked at the little yellow being, Nicolas continuously explained alchemical techniques, leaving Arthur deeply impressed.

With just a few glances, he could learn the alchemical crafting methods and materials almost perfectly.

If alchemy had levels in the system, Nicolas would be at least an eighth-level or even at the upper tier of the eighth level.

These little yellow beings were the tools Arthur had created.

One day, he had a sudden idea inspired by a movie from his previous life, where the protagonist's sidekick—the little yellow beings—was skilled in all sorts of arts.

Why couldn't he create some little yellow beings as assistants for his daily magical research?

He thought about it and quickly did something about it. That was how Arthur did things.

So, he spent a semester and wasted countless materials to complete these few little yellow beings to finish finally.

But he took a shortcut and used the magic of the Garden of Eden to forcefully give them some intelligence.

His purpose in coming this time, besides meeting Nicolas Flamel and having a chat, was to figure out how to give alchemical creations the ability to act independently and possess some level of intelligence using alchemical means.

Finally, Nicolas put down Kevin, and the little yellow being hurried back to stand behind Arthur, casting a disdainful gaze at the old man.

Patting Kevin's head, Arthur quietly waited for Nicolas Flamel's further evaluation.

"The combination of alchemy techniques you used is highly creative, and your core is stable. With some adjustments to the arrangement of the runic sequence, this would be a perfect creation."

Arthur agreed with Nicolas Flamel's evaluation.

Even though he had learned a lot about alchemy, he hadn't been studying it for very long.

He was still somewhat inexperienced in practice. He had failed many times during the crafting process, wasting a large amount of materials.

"May I ask, Mr. Ganut, what method did you use to give them intelligence? I have never encountered such a technique in any book,"

Nicolas Flamel couldn't resist his curiosity and asked the most important question.

Without hesitation, Arthur explained his ideas and the process of using the magic of the Garden of Eden to achieve them.

He even shared the magic with Nicolas Flamel, hoping to see if he could develop new benefits.

Nicolas Flamel got more and more excited as he listened. In the end, his eyes, which were cloudy, flashed off a dazzling light.
