Awakening

"Your Highness! Your Highness! Your Highness!"screaming Kaith rushed into the king's bedroom without any prior permission.

As she entered, the king and queen got up from the bed, and Selemon pull out his sword which he always kept near his bed and placed it on her head. He said" Impudent! how dare you to enter without any permission? you surely don't care about your life at all", he was just about to behead her but she suddenly said" Mercy Your Highness! Mercy.." she continued while panting" princess's room is on fire! Your Highness, please come with me".

This sentence was enough for Selemon to loose control, he didn't even thought for a second because Kaith was the head maid and more over she was Lavina's personal nanny. Her words were trustful because she will never joke about something as long as it concerns the princess.So, Even before she could stand up Selemon rushed out of his room to Lavina's room running in his sleeping rob behind Surica also followed him with the same pace.

Some maids were already gathered at the room's gate. Selemon and Surica rushed into the room while pushing everyone on the side. Maids were all startled by sudden appearance of the king and queen that they didn't got the time for the formalities. But as soon as they entered, they suddenly paused on the sight of the room.

Lavina was sitting on her bed witch was burning with large flames reaching the ceiling, while between them she was sitting expressionlessly, tears were continuously flowing down from her eyes. Her crimson red shiny eyes were looking blood red as they were burning just like the flames, her hairs were floating in the air and were looking like the flames while she was tightly holding the quilt with her hands. Surica on seeing this sight was shocked, her tears kept flowing down her eyes while she blocked her mouth with her both hands trying hard to control herself but what can she do, her beloved daughter was sitting on the 'lap of death' how can she control herself? She was a mother after all.

Everyone present there were trying to persuade the princess to come out of the bed quickly before the flames gets stronger.

Selemon stretched out his hands and said" Lavina, my sweet heart please come here, listen to daddy, come here quickly,,,"worriedly.

But she didn't reacted.

He again said" isn't my sweetie a daddy's princess? won't you listen to your daddy? come here , come to daddy", but still she was unaffected as she didn't even listened to a single word.

Everyone was trying their hard, but who would have thought that their way will make the condition even worse. Their persuading words were echoing in the whole room and with time the voices were getting even more louder, sounding more like noise. This whole commotion made her irritated and she suddenly screamed

" AAAHHHH! LEAVE ME ALONE".

When she said this the flames even got the fiercest suddenly. With this sudden breakout of power all the fragile things in the room got smashed, wether it was glass window, mirrors or vases. And just after this, Lavina suddenly fainted on her bed and all the flames disappeared. Selemon rushed towards her and picked her up and took her to his room.

He and Surica together examined their child, the kept on looking for any external harm on their beloved daughter. And thankfully or surprisingly there wasn't even a single scratch on her body. Both king and queen sighed in relief and Surica hugged her daughter tightly saying" You aren't allowed to disappear from my eyesight, even for a second" and tears kept falling down whereas King's eyes were also filled with water but he tried his best not to shed a single drop in front of her daughter.

Royal physician came for examining the princess but the results were all normal, physician said" Don't worry Her Highness, princess is all safe, she just fainted because of excessive fatigue..... but I'm not getting the reason, why a small girl be fatigued like this?." While moving his hands around his long white beard he said " please take care of princess, if some abnormal symptom appears inform me ASAP" and by this he left the room.

Selemon called Kaith and Sir Edvik inside the room and said" Don't let today's event to spread outside the castle, no one should know what happened today, just let them know that it was just a mere accident ". Kaith nodded her head and said" No maid will ever talk about this, i will take care of it Your Highness", and with this she bow down and left the room.

Sir Edvik who was army's Commander , in charge of all the soldiers and guards came forward and while placing his fist on his chest he said" this matter will always stay inside the walls, if someone tries to speak i will make sure to silence them for the rest of their lives". Selemon said" I can only believe you for this matter Edvik".

"It's my honor your majesty".

With this he also left the room where Lavina was lying on the bed and beside her Surica was sitting while caressing her head.

" Why? why? why my child have to go through all of this? she is just a small child, why God is cursing her like this?" she said while crying continuously. Selemon hugged her from side and tried to console her while he caressed Lavina's head with the other hand and said " Why are you crying? look our Lavina is all fine, not even a single scratch, and do you remember there was not even a single sign of fear on her face while facing such a life threatening event. I am sure she is more like me as she is very brave, we should be happy for her", he flicked her forehead with his fingers and continued" So stop crying, if Lavina see your reaction, she will say I am bullying you".

Surica gave him a mixed look of anger and worry while crying and then she said" You think i will buy that? You can't understand me, i am her mother....what if people get to know about today....they ..they... they..will call my daughter a Monster."

"No! no one will say that, i will take their lives if they ever try.... Don't cry, No one will ever dare to go against my order. And more importantly, Remember, Our Daughter is not a Monster" He said with a strong serious tone.
