"Also can we be friends?" Liam asked a bit shy after finding out the identity of the other party.
Even though he knew what he said to himself a bit earlier, this is a change of plan for him. How can he not want to be friends with the king of Marvel?
Kevin who heard this beamed with a joyous smile, he shook Liam's hand profusely. "Yeah, I would love to be your friend!"
After a few short conversations, Kevin asked a lot of stuff about Liam's work, this time Liam didn't ignore the question and began answering one by one, it was like Kevin interrogated Liam for more juice about his work.
After a few minutes, they parted ways since they had to go home, but before they parted ways, Liam gave a few copies of his works to Kevin, he made Kevin swear that this was confidential and Kevin gladly put it inside his bag carefully.
"See you tomorrow Liam I'll guard it with my life!" Kevin shouted while running away.
Liam just smiled, maybe elementary isn't that bad. Now he was deciding whether he should get home-schooled or not, if he doesn't go to school he wouldn't get closer to Kevin, but once he is home-schooled Kevin can also visit him, but that would only be a couple of minutes cause Kevin also have to go to his own home.
"I guess I should change my plan a bit" Liam sighed, though he hates going to school, having a friend like Kevin Feige might help him in his comic empire.
Kevin was revered as a genius by many, and due to his creativity and the way he connected the characters through the movie.
As he began to walk back home he finally arrived, Liam put his backpack up in his room and changed his clothes now he was back to drawing his comics again on the dinner table.
Silvia was busy in the kitchen once more, "How was your day sweetie?" Silvia asked as she looked at her son who was busy drawing again.
"Mom about home-schooling, maybe you are right, I should spend some of my time and enjoy my elementary days." Liam hated going to school and seeing those annoying kids but there is only one exception and that is of course Kevin, he needed this, he needed Kevin for his empire, and what better way to bring Kevin to his empire than by befriending him its like killing two birds with one stone.
"Oh, amazing sweetie! What changed your mind honey?" Silvia sat down near her son, she was curious about her son's decision and what made him change his decision.
"I made a new friend, his name is Kevin, he and I have lots of things in common Mom. He likes my works and I even gave him some of my copies, I think I would enjoy school because of him, and I guess you are right I am kind of a hermit and socializing is a skill that I should hone for the future." Liam said.
Liam is talkative once he meets someone that can rival his league, well he can't find anyone in school to talk about his ideas, plans, etc; all the kids in school only had one thing in common, and they all had one thought, and it was playing.
"Sweetie that's wonderful! I want you to invite Kevin sometime alright?" Silvia kissed Liam's forehead she was happy at her son's change of mind, and because of this friend of his.
She was also glad that Liam understood what she said and that Liam should hone his socializing skills.
"That's great honey," Silvia said once more as she walked back to the kitchen to continue to cook dinner for the family.
"I'm home" John came home, he put his coat on the rack and put down his suitcase. He walked near his son. "Got any good updates for me Liam?" John said with a smile.
"Umm I don't have any updates for today Dad," Liam said as he gave the updates he drew In class to Kevin.
"W-What? Why didn't you make one?" It was already John's hobby every time he comes home to read his son's work, and every day he comes home his son always has a bulk of papers he could read, this time though his son doesn't have any. "Are you sick? Do you have a fever, is your hand bruised what happened?"
"What? Of course not I'm perfectly fine, there are no updates today cause I gave the copies to my friend," Liam said, he completely understood his father's frustration. But he already gave the copies to Kevin so his father had to wait.
"W-Wait what?! You gave them to someone else?" Jhon leaned to Liam's ear, Silvia doesn't know about their plans, she doesn't know anything about their next move to make 'the guardians of the galaxy' be read by the masses.
"What if they decide to plagiarize the work no what if they decide to print the works?"
Liam also leaned toward his father. "Don't worry Dad he is trusted, I'm sure he wouldn't do anything with my work."
"But even so you should have still made me read the next part, as the no.1 fan I'm deeply hurt by this," Jhon said, truth be told he did feel betrayed. He was always the no.1 fan of his son's works, but now the updates were given to another person he doesn't know of.
"I'll give the updates to you tomorrow dad, I'm busy making the next-next update." Liam gave his father a cold answer and continued to draw.
John was already used to reading the updates before he went to bed but now he had to wait for tomorrow.
This made him have an incurable tick on his neck, he had to find out what happened next, he was already in the part where Quill and the others would face to face with Ronan.
"What are you two whispering?" Silvia came holding a tray of salad. She looked at the father and son duo who looked suspicious.
"Are you both hiding something from me?" Silvia asked giving the two a suspicious look.
"No, it's nothing, honey." John sat down in his usual spot a bit pale, he doesn't know if he is going to sleep due to this awful tick.
"Hmm, Liam put your stuff away we are going to eat." Silvia put the tray down, and Liam immediately took his stuff away from the table.
"Are you alright honey you look a bit pale?" Silvia asked Jhon who looked incredibly pale.
"It's nothing, I think I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight due to this tick," John said glancing at Liam who just shrugged his shoulders.
"Ticks?!" Silvia asked.
"It's not that tick it's sort of a curious tick or something like that, it's a metaphor honey don't worry anyways let's eat." Jhon held Silvia's hand as they prayed.
After their prayers they began to eat their food, Silvia smiled at Jhon with a happy expression plastered onto her face. "Honey Liam decided not to be home-schooled," Silvia said with a jovial tone.
"Really? I thought you wanted to get home-schooled son since you find being at school filled with kids annoying" Jhon asked a bit surprised at Liam's change of mind.
"It's because Liam met a friend, his name is Kevin, Liam sweetie I would like for you to bring him some time for dinner I would love to meet your friend," Silvia said.
"Friend? So that's where you gave the updates to, I can't believe you would choose your friend before your dad!" John said.
"What updates?" Silvia asked.
"Dad's talking about the update to my comic, geez dad I promise I would give it to you tomorrow" Liam had a scowl on his face to his dad.
"I want it tonight, I'm dying due to this tick, the excitement and curiosity Are boiling my very skin and it Is itching for answers soon!" Jhon said while having a hurt expression on his face.
