Chapter 4 : The date

"Hello angel" he said in a husky voice and I knew it was him. I turned and he pressed me by the wall. He looked so intimidating oh God, please give me strength l prayed. Wh....what do you want? "Nothing, l just want you to repay me".

I don't owe you so could you move so l can pass l stated. He Looked at me with a brows raised. "Now that where you are wrong angel. You became indebted when you bumped into me. Do you know how many ribs you broke in my body, huh". You're lying because I was the one who was hurt when my body made an impact with yours. He moved closer to me. He was so close that I could feel his breath on my cheeks. The only thing that separate's us is the little space in between us. Please can you move back a little. "Why are you afraid I will bite you angel". He said looking in my eyes. I don't know how long we stood there looking at each other's eyes but he finally spoke. Am going on this party and I want you to come with me as my date". What! What made you think that I would go anywhere with you left alone a date. I didn't know where l got courage but I knew that there will be consequences. "Feisty, I like that. So you are refusing me? You will go on the date with me angel, wanna bet". He said and smirked. My heart was practically beating faster than normal. He come closer to me that our mouths nearly about to touch. I closed my eyes. "We will meet again angel". When I opened my eyes he was gone. Was he that fast, it didn't take atleast three seconds before I opened my eyes or did I spent more. Arrrgg, this was so frustration. Am standing in front of the washroom mumbling to myself. I have to find Karen.

Karen's pov

What is taking Ellen so long. Is she poking out to whole school. I said whiles removing my books from the looker. "Hello Karen". I turn around and met Blake Austin's eyes. I admit I was surprised. Why would thee Blake want anything to do with me. Hello l said awkwardly. "Arrhmm, I was wondering if you'd like to go to a party with me as my date". My heart was like dum, dum, dum. You want to go out on a date with me. "Yeah" He seemed nervous.

First Rule : Don't make your crush know that you would die than refuse him.

I have something to do tonight but it can wait. "So when should I come pick you up? Do you know where I stay. "

Of course and why wouldn't I know when everyday day I pass l see the most beautiful girl l had ever seen". I blushed, l wish the ground would open up and swallow me right now. My face now practically look like a fresh tomato. I looked at him and he smirked. God he was so dreamy. " Okay I will call you when am coming".   He was leaving when he stopped. "Wait, I don't have your number". Oh that was silly of me to forget to give you my number. "Here is my phone". I typed my number and gave it back to him. "Okay Karen, see you tonight". He winked at him but I don't know why I didn't meltdown on the floor. Why is Ellen talking so long perhaps I should go and see what's keeping her.

Ellen's pov

I saw Karen making her way to me grinning widely. I wondered what this crazy girl did in my absence that has caused the grinning. " Oh Ellen am so happy". She said whiles twirling me around. Stop, stop Karen you are making me dizzy. "You don't how happy I am". You are right I wouldn't, unless you tell me l said it dramatically. Blake just asked me on a date. She said happily clapping and jumping a little. That's great news you will finally get the boy you want. Am so so happy for you. So did you accept it.

"Duh, why wouldn't I". So what kind of a date are you two going. "Ahhh, he said there's this party and he wants me to accompany him as his date". That drew my thought back to Logan when he asked me to go with him as the payment for bumping into him. "Ellen can you go out to shop with me after school please, please".

Mom won't be home till tomorrow because she had an early shift tomorrow being a nurse and all. Okay I will go out shopping with you unless you promise to buy me some strawberry Ice cream and chocolate chips cookies. "Fine it's a deal". We went to our next class. That l was able to concentrate because Logan wasn't in this class. After the lesson we were preparing to go out to shop when I had a text message from an unknown person. Who could it be, l asked myself. I entered the message and got shocked.

Unknown : Hi angel.

I instantly knew that it was Logan but how did he get my number?

Me : I know it's you Logan. How did you get my number?

Logan : You are very smart angel. You should know by now that l have my ways to everything.

Me : what do you want?

Logan : I want you to come meet me at the back entrance of the school and one more thing, if you don't come, Karen is going to face the forfeiture for you.

How dare he threaten me. And he wants to use Karen as a bait against me. Who does he think he is, I need to give him a peace of my mind. But Karen sake I had to keep my cool.

Me : okay am coming

Logan : Don't keep my waiting all day. I have errands to run okay.

What an impatient guy. "He like him anyway". Who said that? I turned around but didn't see anyone. Was it my conscience talking to me. Am officially going crazy.  Ellen, left my book in class so am going back can you wait for me here. "Okay but don't take long, we have small time to get me ready, She said excitedly. I made my way to the back door
