I really did not like this High School the dead without a harem sucks

Dropped chapter 5. Couldn't cope with the mc find him too annoying. Classic clueless cowardly mc who is meant to grow strong but I can't but hope he gets eaten. This is only due to my taste. Writing is decent, idea is good worth a read just not for me

Why!!!!!!? Why an OC!😭😭 The reason I don't like OCs is simply that I feel like authors are afraid of changing the timeline or creating a butterfly effect which by the way is screwed the moment another MC is on the world. and if that isn't enough, Harem will be for Takashi and not MC.. OC pairing... Harem yet Harem but not for Harem for MC but someone else WHY!!!!!!

The MC is annoying and chose a really sucky job title that reduces his stats and gives it to others. I stopped reading when he gave them to Takashi. Hotd without a harem sucks as well. It might as well not have these characters since it's just the ocs getting together. What's the point of hotd characters?

overall not bad but The Characters and the overall development are a bit iffy. The characters are a bit one dimensional overall, they are only defined by there most extreme trait so far and that is being anoying or unreasonable for the most part .The MC is only marginal better he is growing but i would have liked the MC to be a more coolheaded and collected charter to at least Balance it out. The Story world is already messed up enough the only reason it even is as popular as it is comes from the Characters, the Harem and the eye candy, because the plot of the original itself is at best c-rate entertainment. But so far the story has strip away most of the Positives of the Plot and replaced it with very little. The world building is pretty AU with the OCs and all, I'm splitt if that will be better or worse in the long run but it's ok, the system, the extra players etc. are something I'm really not that much of a fan off, mainly because I'm someone that likes to have One Main character with special powers and not a dozen, even more so in a Fanfic, it's not terrible so far but yeah it's not really my thing. like i said overall it's not bad so far, and there is potential here but i really hope you have a solid plan because zombie worlds with systems thend to end in a dead end sooner or later, because either you make the zombies massively stronger and evolve them to balance things, you hard cap the system, you start some kingdom building and go the drama route like Walking Dead or you just leave the world alltogether at least about 99% of the storys go this way.

Well the novel has good ideas, the mc wins a system, the mc is clueless and cowardly sometimes but he is just a high school student, it would not be expected much at first that he would become a dominant alpha, this story seems more about survival, no it is known if the mc will settle somewhere and for the rest he does what the system tells him to do, so far it does not seem that the mc is a mastermind other than surviving day to day, the writing is decent.

I really like it, moreover there is no harem that adds value to the story. Mc is selfish and a writer who is not arrogant, let alone the lack of this story. maybe there is but I'm sure the writer will be better In the future. And it would be better if there was another world trip, because HOTD is a short story.

The story is nicely written so far. The only thing i missed out on is the love interest not being of the main cast instead of an oc. But if that doesb’t bother you, than it will be a good read,

Could you tell me who the love interest would be? I'm commenting on this before I start reading because you said it wouldn't be a harem, so depending on who it would be I'd rather not start reading. I gave it 5 stars so as not to harm the classification of the story because of a personal question, I would really appreciate it if you could answer.

So do I give this story a read, or do I dodge it? The reviews for it are all over the place. My only issue is the typical Gamer System. I find when it's added to a story like HOTD; it takes away the horror aspect of a zombie apocalypse if your getting help from some system, even if the service is minor. I also see that after reading some reviews, you've made some choices with the Oc that people disagree with. If Saeko is the oc cousin, I honestly don't care about that. When people come to read a story of HOTD, they expect a Harem or a polygamy relationship. It seems you did that with Takashi to a degree but not for the OC. When I read a story about an Oc, I want it to be focused on them, not soul on the main cast of the story. If you made it were, Takashi is still pulling most of the strings, and the OC is only a helping hand. It's disappointing. Till I get told but a majority of people who have read the story give this fanfic a chance by explaining why it's good or by proving me wrong, I'm not even going to read the first chapter... There's not wrong with trying something different but don't take away the core fundamentals of what drew people into watch or reading a fictional world. And then you'll get 5 stars.
