Chapter 2(the tasks begins )

He rushed to a temple to beg for forgiveness . The priestess listened to his prayer .you must See king Eurystheus",she said the king will give you twelve tasks ,she said."if you do them all,the gods will forgive you.

Hercules went to find the king what are my tasks ?"he asked "there is a huge lion prowling around ,said the king .Hercules hunted the lion for a whole month finally ,he spotted a cave .He jumped inside and stabbed it with his sword but the lion skin was too tough hercules sword bent so he hit lit over the head with a club . The lion was stunned ,but it was still alive .Hercules crept after the monstrous beasts,the lion sprang on top of him

They rolled around fighting for hours in the end hercules grab the throat and strangled it

The king was terrified when he saw the lion

The king jumped into a big brass pot go and kill the hydra the king shouted that your next task .

The hydra was a horrible nine headed monster that lived in a gloomy marsh . Hercules took his nephew for companion .As they set out the goddess Athene appeared saying"you must shoot flaming arrows to make the hydra come out ,one sniff of its poison will kill,so you have to hold your breath hercules took is cousin for compani

The hydra is a nine headed snake ,hercules held is breath and rushed to it with is club and strike a head off the head grew back hercules was shocked hercules thought quickly and he rushed and light a fire he carried is sword cutting all the head off and he quickly light a fire an all of the head the hydra head did not grow back and it died.
