The Atkins family

The next morning:

Robert came downstairs and saw that everyone was present at the dining table. He was astonished as this was the first time everyone was gathered at the dining table. He went on to pull his chair and sat down. After serving all the dishes, all the servants were dismissed.

"Dad, I'm going to L City." All heads turned towards Robert.

Mr. Atkins remained calm and asked, "Why this sudden decision?"

"Nothing much, I have been thinking for a while and now I have decided to visit him. After all, it has been a long time since I last visited him."

"Okay. Also, head over to the branch of Incoda in L City too."

"Sure, but meanwhile, I want Oliver to manage this headquarters."

"Okay, it will be done according to your wish."

After a long time, Robert responded with a brief 'hmm'.

They continued to have breakfast in silence. Oliver noticed that Robert was playing with the pasta on his plate and was deep in thought. Oliver then looked at the old woman sitting quietly and eating her breakfast in silence. Something was going through her mind. Oliver knew that this lady is very strong, as she can hide her true nature while being tortured. He knew all the ongoings of this house, but couldn't do anything, since his brother wants to bid his time before taking any big step.

Robert got up from the table and went upstairs to gather his things and left for the office to sort out his things before he leaves.

The elderly lady seemed to stop at the sight of Robert driving away. She stood at the same sot for a while and then went inside the house.

At Scarlett City:

Sophie sat down at her desk going through some documents. She was working non-stop from the morning, when a knock sounded at the door.

'May I come in, President?'

'Come in'

Ruby entered the room with a burly man on tow. She glanced meaningfully at Ruby, who introduced the burly man to her. "President, this is Chef Timothy."

"Hello, President Lisa, I've heard a lot about you. Never thought you'd call me.", a squeaky voice sounded which was far unlike his figure. Sophie wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. But she controlled herself and said with a stoic face, "Ah, Chef Timothy, I've been a fan of your food." She took her own sweet time and spoke slowly.

Chef Timothy looked at her expectantly. "Why don't you sit down first?"

"Ah? Huh...", he sat down on the chair placed in front of her desk. Sophie gestured Ruby to sit down too and then smiled and nodded at Ruby.

Ruby started speaking, "Actually Chef Timothy, our President has been a big fan of your cooking. So, she is planning to introduce a cafeteria in this Company. So, she wants you to take care of it."

Ruby explained the general idea slowly.

Chef Timothy was silent upon hearing this. He did not know what to say. He was just a small owner of a street-side food stall. He never thought that he would be invited by a President of a multinational company.

He saw the woman sitting in front of him in the newspaper which he reads daily. That day, when he was passing by the newspaper stall, he saw that this person's face was spread across all the newspapers. Later he followed her news and came to know that she is one of the youngest self-made billionaires. When Ruby contacted him, he was excited to meet this young woman. Never in his lifetime did he think that she would offer this great opportunity.

He humbly replied, "Miss Lisa, or shall I call you President now, I have a question?"

"Go on and Call me whatever you wish.", she said with a gentle smile which left Timothy mesmerized.

"I have two friends who are great cook and would be able to help me out. Shall I introduce them to both of you?"

"There is no need."

"Um.... They are needy people.....", Timothy started to say when Ruby cut him off.

"You misunderstand. President means to say that you don't need to introduce them to us. Our HR department will be in contact with them. You leave their names and contact numbers with them. Also, whatever you require to set up this cafeteria, make sure to do a detailed planning and submit it as soon as possible. Is that clear?", Ruby said in an extremely professional tone. Chef Timothy was dumbfounded as her change in attitude. 'How can they change their attitudes so easily?', he thought but chose not to comment about this anymore.
