Morning meeting

The early morning rays hit the couple's room. Anna groaned as she felt the sun rays on her face, groggily rubbing her eyes she stretched her hands.

Her eyes almost popped out of the circuit when her hands came in contact with a hard body. Turning around she faced the godly face, his sleeping face was enchanting. Even a gorgeous woman will be jealous of his beauty.

Ji Yang was too close to her with his hand lazily laying on her belly, her right leg is trapped between his legs.

'When did he come?'

She almost freaked out it's her first waking up next to a guy.

Anna reached out for her mobile phone to check the time it showed 6:15 and saw she had set the alarm to evening. Realizing her perfect plan has failed she scolded herself.

'It would be embarrassing if he sees me clinging on to me' she thought so trying not to wake Ji Yang she carefully removed his hand on her.

But Ji Yang was awake long ago, he usually wakes up at 6, he felt extremely happy and content sleeping next to his wife so he decided to sleep for few more minutes. He had one of the best sleep last night.

She sneakily got up to leave.

"Where are you going?" His deep husky stopped her halfway.

Anna slapped herself mentally 'i was trying to sneak out why did you wake up.'

"Good morning." She averted his question and turned to leave the bed.

Ji Yang caught her hand and pulled back. Anna fell back into his embrace.

"Sleep for few more minutes." He said sleepily although he wasn't.

It was the second time sleeping together and he can already get use to this forever.

"I need to go early today." Anna removed herself from his grasp.

In the process something caught his attention and frowned. The atmosphere turned cold and dark clouds started to loom around him.

"Where's the ring?" His voice was cold and dark.

"What ring?" Anna was confused.

"Our wedding ring." His tone was rather scarier.

"Oh.. It was too loose for me and it almost slipped out of my finger yesterday so I removed it." Anna explained not wanting to create some misunderstanding.

Ji Yang remained silent so Anna took it as a chance to slip away and dashed to the bathroom.

Getting ready Anna left early as Ji Yang was busy in a phone call, he looked very serious so she didn't disturb him.

In Yu company

Elder Yu called a morning meeting for all the directors and managers. Although he has retired he would visit the company once in two weeks to get the updates and check on everything himself.

Yu company is his heart and liver he had worked too hard to bring his empire to another level. It was passed down by his father to him so he would do anything to keep it safe from the enemies.

"Updates on Prosperity project tender?" Elder Yu asked to no one in particular.

"Just now I got the call from them we lost the tender." Vice President of Yu constructions answered dejectedly.

Yu Chong was already fuming in anger.

"It's all because of Yu Han I lost the tender, she never wanted me to win the project so she deliberately gave a bad presentation." He accused Anna mercilessly.

"Uncle Chong please fix your memory you never tried to correct your mistakes so it's all your fault." Anna replied coldly.

"You..." Yu Chong got up from his seat angrily. He looked like a wounded animal ready to attack it's prey.

"Yu Chong!" Elder Yu's voice resonated in the room. It was sharp and authoritative. With no choice Yu Chong sat back gritting his teeth.

"We all suggested you to change your plan but you stubbornly stuck to it. So if there's anyone to blame it's all you." Elder Yu's words only made Yu Chong's hatred towards Anna stronger.

He believed only because of Anna he missed the chance to work with Ji Group and making him lose to get hundreds of millions.

The meeting continued with further updates on the other projects of the company.

"How about the Annual party?" Elder Yu asked Yu Kong.

"I decided to have it on 26th of this month and the preparation is being handled by Planning department." Yu Kong replied and nodded at the planning department to update.

"All the arrangements are planned we only need to start the process and we also decided to invite few famous socialites so we can also promote our Belle." Yu Yuri updated.

"Good." Elder Yu nodded at her and smiled proudly. Everyone could see how much Elder loved and favoured Yu Yuri.

"Yu Han what about you?" Elder Yu turned towards Anna.

"Grandpa you're being too hard on sister she started only three days ago." Yu Yuri butted before Anna could respond.

She was trying to show everyone indirectly the difference between her and Anna and whom actually Elder Yu liked more. As she planned everyone got the whiff of it.

Anna was too lazy to say anything. She wasn't interested in petty cat talks.

Elder Yu didn't pry on Yu Yuri's words so he adjourned the meeting.

Anna got a call from detective Wang Fei.

"Ms Yu target one is locked on our radar." Wang Fei informed.

"Good. Tail the target and I need his complete record from past three years." Anna smirked.
