Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. Hugs and Cuddles

Mark watched the beauty sleeping in his arms. He felt awful inside. Never had he felt guilt this intense towards anyone.

Not even his siblings. He had been furious after coming to know about his sister's experience. He had been livid when his mother almost killed Jayden.

However, none of those emotions could beat the intensity of his remorse now. He knew that he had messed up albeit intentionally.

He should have been more considerate. Something he realised, he wasn't good at doing. His gaze lingered on her closed eyes where tears were still flowing out.

His thumps brushed against them, wiping it away. Fortunately, she didn't wake up, upon his touch. Mark found out before how sharp Sarah's senses were.

It was nothing new for him. He was glad that she could find comfort and feel protected in his arms even though he was the last person she needed to see now.
