He shifted to his left on the bed, making room for me. He taps the empty space, smiling up at me encouragingly. I don't think about anything else when I slide into the tiny hospital bed with him. The warmth of his legs hit me from underneath the sheets. He was so deliciously warm, that I had to bite my lip to keep me from moaning out loud in sheer pleasure.

His right arm swung over my shoulder and he pulled me closer to him. I melted into his arms right away. He too melted into my side. I felt the comfort and peace I was feeling earlier return to me at once.
