  "Hey dad! Can you please send your most trusted guards? Like the most trusted ones to the hospital?" I ask over the phone.

"Of course!" came his cheerful response. 

I disconnect the call after that. 

  "We can go home for the night." I tell Abby and Erin.

Their shoulders  sag in relief. The thought of spending the night here was too much. 

  "You guys wanna leave me Here? On my own?" the human pouted at us.

"You have been sleeping here just fine." Abby told him.

He leaned forward as if he was about to tell us a really huge secret.

  "I hear wolves howl at night around here. It is like very scary, almost like they were in here with me." He shivered.
