"Am I in hell?"

After Raena finished taking her bath, she opened the closet and left staring at all the different options she had and she smiled then grabbed a nightdress, got changed, switched the lights off and got into bed where she stretched off and sighed.

After a long time, Rena finally had her own space, and she fell asleep quickly that night without any problems.

Someone knocked on Rena's door while she was sleeping, but because she was in a deep sleep, she grabbed a pillow and covered her ears, then the room door flung open and her eyes widened as she grabbed the blanket from the bed and hid under it after throwing a pillow at the butler.

"What are you doing?" She exclaimed, to which the demon butler jumped before sighing and turning away.

"Sorry, I was not thinking, can you get up now?" He asked and she peeked at her and then sighed.

"Please leave, I will freshen up and join you," She said, then bowed his head and walked out of the room as she pouted and got out of bed.

'What the hell have I gotten myself into?' Raena pondered as she went to freshen up while the butler entered her room, placed a few items on her bed, and exited quietly.

After the girl had finished her bath, she noticed something resembling a uniform on her bed and realized it must have been placed there by the butler or Akaz.

Without asking any questions, Raena put on her clothes, fixed her hair, then left the room and went down to the living room where the butler looked at her along with Akaz.

"Good morning," She said.

"Good morning," They replied.

"Is that uncomfortable for you?" Akaz asked.

"No, they're pretty comfortable, not too long or too short, just right, but do you mind if I ask what's going on here?" She asked, and they exchanged glances before turning to face her.

"There is a way for you to learn more about everything, you are young and believe me when I say you are strong, that's the uniform to the demon academy, I want you to go there," Akaz responded and she smiled at him, nervously.

"A school for demons? Is it only demons?" When she asked, Akaz looked at the butler and he shrugged.

"Not only demons, no, you see, there is a lot to explain so I will make this part brief, there are protocols to follow, certain demons cannot enter the human world just like that, they need permission, though, both the netherworld and the other realms are connected one way or another, there is a portal that leads to the academy, both magical beings and demons go to the academy, but demons mostly," He responded, and she sighed before looking at the uniform.

"I have a question, the netherworld, is that hell? Am I in hell?" She asked.

"Huh? The netherworld is where the demons live, hell is in a different part, I don't know what the hell humans taught you, kids, right now, we are in the human world, this is not where I usually live I only came here because of you and there was no time to travel back to my world, however, we use that portal to get to the academy, it's between realms," He responded and she sighed.

"Do you understand what I am telling you?" He asked and she glanced at him.

"I do, I understand what you are saying, so do I have to go live in the netherworld with you?" She asked and he smiled.

"You can stay here, and yes, you can if you want to, you have options; however, do you agree to attend the academy?" She lowered her head when he asked.

"Between realms huh? Okay, I'll go to the academy, even though normal people don't go there; will I become a problem for you?" She asked and he smirked.

"No you are not, you can tell everyone I am your father or uncle, since you are a part of the family now, your choice, no pressure," He responded and she smiled slightly.

"Got it, I'll choose when I have to, but why are you so concerned if I'm not going to cause you any problems? Is it possible that I'm not supposed to be here?" When she asked, his eyes widened while staring at her, not knowing how to answer her.

"Don't worry, you're exactly where you need to be right now. Also, the woman you saw was a goddess, one that doesn't mean much anymore, and whatever she gave you will only be for guidance; I hope you always choose the right path." He responded, and her brow furrowed as the butler handed her a bag and she collected it.

"Sit down, you will have breakfast before he takes you," The butler said then she sat down and Akaz sat down with her before placing his head back on the couch and exhaling deeply.

"Looking at you, I can tell that not all demons are bad," She said and he looked at her.

"No, not all are though you are still working on trusting me, but some are worse than others, which is why I'm going to give you some advice you can use at the academy, want it?" He inquired, and she nodded.

"Good, no matter what happens at the academy, shine however you feel pleased, but don't trust someone just because they seem nice, this world is far more dangerous, worse than you can possibly imagine, got it?" He asked.

"Thank you, I might not know much, but I will listen to your advice, I promise," She responded and he sighed in relief then smiled as the butler brought them breakfast.

"I made most of what humans would make; I hope you enjoy them, lady Raena," The butler said and she looked at them.

"They look delicious and perfect for me, thank you, and please don't call me lady, just Raena," She replied, and he bowed his head with a smile as they began eating their meal, which Raena found to be more delicious than the ones she usually eats.
