They started with the tactic that every ward used almost without exception; Archers who wanted to use the shooting range and piercing advantages provided by the Wind Element were releasing the ropes they had pulled almost up to their necks one after the other.
Eight of them were users of the Wind Element, and that number wasn't good news for the low-cultivation members who were at the forefront of the wild beast horde. The students of the Eighteenth Ward did not intend to repulse the enemy with long-range attacks, even two or even three people targeted and killed the same creature. This strategy allowed them to kill more monsters than other teams that used arrows to attack first, but enemies approaching the gates began to respond when they were within sufficient distance. The archers had come down before the first energy attack hit the door, and no one among them tried to shoot another arrow.
