"Where am I?"
Mel raised his head. He had to squint due to the shining sunlight. He knew where he fainted, but he wasn't quite sure where he had woken up yet. His eyes narrowed as he lowered his head, and he was able to see something he knew very well at that moment.
"Ah, this is the shell! I have come here again! I had managed to get out last time!"
He took a bit from the white crust glowing in his claw-shaped hands covered with dense scales. Water was drooling from the rim of his mouth. His body was reacting involuntarily, his mouth opened reflexively, but his hands were entirely under his control, pushing the shell in.
"How delicious! How warm the earth is! The energy flowing into my body is just as delicious as this shell!"
Mel was both eating and examining his environment at the same time. When he noticed the blackness on his right side, he shouted excitedly.
"Dragon! This is a dragon!"
