Harry Potter: Monarch of Magic

William Reginal was once an insignificant figure following the flow of a mundane society without leaving any noticeable mark of existence. During a sleep no different from any other, William came in contact with the unspeakable, and unimaginable for a mortal, demon or even a god. Something greater. Far greater. When he awoke from his slumber a changed being, it marked the beginning of a legendary time in which he would be at the core of events that would be etched into the annals of time. ---------------------- Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc, are the property of their respective owners, William Reginal, Vincent Helin, and others. A Beautiful Owl!

Another 'uneventful' and 'regular' year has passed once again for William, with it he has finally turned 11. Following his unexpected run-in with Ministry Elite Auror James Potter, William began contemplating the consequences should the Ministry act against him. Following this chain of thought, William who rarely relied on the system itself for answers to his problems, but more so regarded it as a guide was pleasantly surprised by the rare sign-in reward he received today. He referred to it as rare, as despite providing him with a fortune of Galleons, he could swear he also signed in at least 5 years' worth of Bertie Botts Jelly Beans. Imagine waking up every morning expectantly and hoping to sign in to something amazing, but instead receive a packet of jelly beans...it's an indescribable feeling that follows.

Opening his system panel, William probed for the item he was searching for. "Status Panel".

With a bright smile on his face, William began assembling his magical power into spells to create the first group of base soldiers for his Sentinels, a creature that would become a backbone for his work. Combining various transfiguration spells and elemental spells, a drop of blood and a trace of his soul, they came into vision soon after a dazzling array of lights.

Four feet tall when stood on their back clawed legs, razor-sharp spine connected to an equally ferocious tail, two demonic-looking wings attached to its back and folded, a long and thick forehead and a mouth within a mouth, each capable of releasing deadly spells William infused. Its entire body dyed in a pristine white, sat with a hundred like itself, obediently in front of William like ivory statues.

It was time to welcome William's newest addition to the Sentinels, the 'Judgement Walkers', capable of splitting themselves to reach at least 500 by the end of the month if commanded, it was a ferocious, loyal, manageable yet completely unstoppable growing force. By the time the Ministry works up to dealing with William's affairs, he might have the confidence to simply run the Ministry to the ground by pure quantitative power.

Such thoughts swirled within William's mind as he returned to his manor which was entertaining an unusual little guest. The sight of a pure white owl attempting to break past a barrier spell into his base caught William's attention and caused a smile. Attached to that owl was a letter William was expecting and knew all too much about. Ignoring his usual appearance as the leader of Sentinels, William almost skipped the way to the manor before awkwardly stopping himself and retreating to a simple hurried walk.

Feeding the beautiful owl a heavy meal, William looked at the famed acceptance letter in his hand. The signature capital H is surrounded by the symbols of the four houses, an eagle, a snake, a badger and a lion, crested together representing the greatest magical educational institute in the Magical World, Hogwarts.

Opening the letter expectantly, William read its content aloud, as if to reassure himself it was really happening.

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorcerer, Chief Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Mr William Ambrosius Reginal,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. The term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress".

With William's face slightly red from the blood rushing in his body from pure excitement, he slowly turned his letter and was stunned for a second, before realising something. "Yes, this is the real world now, I may have plans and ambitions for the future, however, I can not do everything as it goes, I need plans and time. Hogwarts has many things I want but also contains many things I have yet to experience to grow from. This isn't fake nor a joke, I must take this opportunity seriously to be prepared for what's to come. Past the point of what I expect, past the knowledge from my past, but to the real future, the unknown.".

Solidifying his intentions and mindset, William carefully replied back with the owl and began preparing for his absence within Sentinel and his time in the future at Hogwarts. It's the first step of his real journey in this world of magic he is about to take, the starting point in a long journey ahead of him.

------------------------------------------

(A's/N): For anyone who can't remember the contents of the second part of the letter, I decided to still add this as an addition just for the sake of it. I removed it from the chapter because it was too wordy, but I don't really want to completely remove part of the letter's existence from the novel either. It is a significant event that marks the real beginning of this story, so I thought it deserved to be left here at least.
