Chapter 87

This daring reply left every Magi beside Harry speechless. It was obvious that this is an attempt through the Lighthouse of the Night to recruit a young genius.

The whole pretense of the ancient agreement was obviously just a coverup to invite him; no one took it that seriously. People that own an advanced meditation technique just kept it in their family because it was an advantage for themselves.

No one had to really sign a contract.

It was an invitation to join the Lighthouse of the Night, one of the top factions in the whole South Coast.

Especially from the leader, a Rank 3 magus himself. One of the most powerful beings on the South Coast.

Genius who just advanced being able to destroy a peak Rank 1 magus or not, Harry Potter in the eyes of the people present was a total Madman.

Even the leader of the Lighthouse of the Night was speechless for a moment. Sure, this boy in front of him had shown strength unseen for someone who had just advanced, but did he really believe he could face a Rank 3 magus?

"You will pay for your impudence!" It took only a moment of bafflement, as a powerful black energy wave was flying at Harry, completely encompassing him in darkness.

The other Magi quickly took their distance to not be caught in the aftermath.

Harry was hidden in a big cloud of dust, and no one could see how badly he died yet.

Finally the dust cleared, and to their shock, it revealed that Harry was still standing there, almost as if nothing had happened; at least his pose indicated it.

But he had undergone a drastic change.

His body was covered in obsidian black scales, his features became more dragon-like, and two big horns were sprouting out of his head. The two emerald green eyes were glowing, no burning as they stared at the Rank 3 Magus of the Lighthouse of the night.

"Was that supposed to do something?" he asked Cooly.

This is his innate spell that he had unlocked through his advancement. At least his first one.

[Rank 1 Innate Spell: Human-Dragon Form has nullified the damage and is still working fully.]

While Innate Spells of Advanced Meditation Techniques, based on bloodlines, were inherited by the creature it belongs to, Harry is different. This bloodline is his own.

Sure, he had based it on other creatures, but there is no one who owned this bloodline like it was usual in this world. Technically, this bloodline branch is owned by himself.

Since he was technically the one from whom his descendant's inherit their innate abilities, he could just do it like a regular Magus. Add his own innate spells into his Sea of Conciousness.

And he had done it. This particular ability is based on his research about Zoan Devil Fruits, their human hybrid form, to be precise.

It wasn't just boosting his defenses through the scales covering his body; it was multiplying his physical strength.

Right now he was super strong.

[Harry Potter (Human-Dragon Form), Rank 1 Magus (Dragon of Death)/Wizard (uncultivated), Strength: 91, Agility: 94, Vitality: 99, Spiritual Force: 56 (223), Magic Power: 279, Status: Healthy.]

His physical stats had effectively tripled, bringing him from the average Superhuman level the Elves had in Eragon to a level comparable to strong anime characters', though not at their peak.

In his estimates, he had the power of someone like Luffy or Zoro pre-Timeskip in the later parts of the Grandline's first half. (Before someone else again complains about the scaling that's mountain level in strength and being able to react to lightspeed.)

And the coolest thing about this ability is that it would not only scale with his own strength but with the advancement of his own bloodline too. Possibly even unlock new variations and forms.

"How? This was a Rank 3 spell. It should be impossible for you to survive this." The leader from the Lighthouse of the Night said in shock.

"I like being impossible." Harry said lightly, "But thank you for attacking me. You have initiated the contract spell I put on myself. This whole area is sealed now, and none of you can leave without my agreement or death."

Contract spells are one of his newer inventions. They are quite cost-intensive, and without becoming a magus, the magic power he could muster was too low quality to use this type of spell.

It was the combinations of magic and the contract part of his essence. Quite the broken ability.

He could put a condition on something, like himself, and as long as it was fulfilled, a consequence would be initiated.

The cost of the spell was determined by how harsh the condition is in comparison to the price it is. Still, it is a broken spell.

"Don't be a ridiculous brat. There is no way you could face all of us." The principal from Sage Gotham's Hut exclaimed, but when he saw that his professors were walking against a barrier that was encompassing the area, he became silent.

"The boy is serious." Said the blonde-haired woman from Whitewoods Castle, "Siley, aren't you going to do something about your student? He is clearly insane."

"I don't think I can. The boy is worse than me." Siley muttered before addressing Harry, "Harry Potter, you are herby expulsed from the Abyssal Bone Forest Academy. Your actions reflect badly on our esteemed academy, and I can no longer support you."

"Thank you, Principal, for fulfilling another contract spell." Before he quickly threw something towards a Magus, "Professor Kroft, catch this."

Kroft had instinctively caught what Harry had thrown at him, "What-?" and suddenly disappeared in a swirl. No one could find him inside the barrier anymore.

"What have you done to Kroft?" Siley asked, annoyed.

"Nothing; you have released him from his contract with the academy. And I decided to offer him a new position." Harry replied.

"I did no such thing."

"Yes, you fulfilled the contract spell!" Harry said it as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Enough of this folly." The Representative of the Lighthouse of the Light interrupted loudly, "Boy, I will offer you one last chance." Join my Lighthouse, and I will let you live. I will even take you as my personal acquaintance. Take it or die."

It was obvious that he wanted these spells and that meditation technique Harry had used to become powerful enough to survive a Casual Rank 3 spell. This was unheard of for a Rank 1 magus even at the peak.

While it was possible to fight one level above his own, being able to transcend two or more levels was unheard of. And the Leader of the Lighthouse was at the peak of Rank 3, a Crystal Phase Magus.

Crystal Phase means he had crystallized his spiritual force, having the largest amount in the most compact form in his body. Like the aggregate states of water, the least dense form was vapor, followed by liquid and then water.

Harry shouldn't be able to fight this.

"Sorry, no interest." Harry said before a dense green-black aura formed around him, "Well then, shall we dance?"

"Impossible… You are only Rank 1. How can you output such a powerful force?"

[Innate Rank 1 Spell: Dragon Soul initiated.]

[All mental and magical stats boosted greatly!]

Green-Black Fireballs were flying from Harry towards the principals and the leader of the lighthouse, who all had no choice but to block.

They were damaging their defensive innate skills. At this moment, they realized they couldn't underestimate the boy in front of them.

This fresh Rank 1 Magus was a threat for them.

He is a monster never seen in the South Coast before.

"Get out of my head. How dare you! First you kill my vessel, and now you even enter my mind." A enraged voice from among the Rank 1 Magi shouted at Harry.

"Sorry, Professor Dorotte. But I want to know what all of you know. Damn, you are nasty. Raising Jayden to become your new body. That's cold." Harry answered with a laugh.

"You… Let's fight that monster together. Join the principals. We need to stop him. If he grows any stronger, he will devour the entirety of the South Coast!" Shouted Dorrote as he sent bone spears towards Harry.

He just punched them out of the air before he rushed at Dorotte and grabbed the skeletal professor at his throat.

"Thank you for the soul." And the light in Dorrote's eyes died.

At this moment Harry had to roll to the side as a Black Blade hit the ground where he had just been and exploded.

"Oy, that's not nice!"

Meanwhile, Siley shouted, "Don't let him touch you! He can take your souls that way." As the principal of an academy specializing in darkness, necromancy, and spirits, he was intimately familiar with what had just happened to Dorrote.

The Leader of the Lighthouse shouted, sending more black blades towards Harry, "Combine your efforts; this boy is not ordinary. We need to stop him! If he get's stronger he will conquer the South Coast!"

Harry grinned bloodthirsty as he once again rushed at the crowd, dodging the blades with his extreme physical speed already reaching his next Victim!
