Chapter 11

The children are now just wearing their shirts because of warm weather, they hung there fur coats.As they pass a tree, Lucy stops and turns as a Dryad forms and wave to her. She waves back and follows the others as they enter the camp. Centaurs, Bears, Fauns all stop what they are doing as the children pass through the camp.

Susan looking at Hadrian questioned"Why are they all staring at us?"

Lucy grinned and answered"Maybe they think you look funny."

Hadrian chuckled and replied to Susan's question"You are prophesied children of Adam and eve,so they are going to be curious about you."

While Mr. Beaver said to Mrs. Beaver"Oi, stop your fussing. You look lovely."causing her smile at him.

They stop in front of an official looking tent where General Oreius stands guard. Peter pulls out his sword and holds it on front of him pointing to the sky.

Peter spoke to Oreius"We have come to see Aslan."

Tent flaps in the breeze and suddenly everyone kneels. Aslan comes out from the tent and to Pevensie siblings suprise and awe,he was in the form of a majestic Lion.

Aslan with his golden mane and the great, royal, solemn, overwhelming eyes.Every beings from Centuaurs to other speaking animals to Hadrian knelt before his majestic presence

The children kneel as well.Aslan looking at all of them spoke up"Welcome, Peter, Son of Adam. Welcome, Susan and Lucy, Daughters of Eve. And welcome to you, Beavers.You have my thanks.But where is the fourth?"

Peter decided to be the one to speak"That's why we're here, sir.We need your help."

Susan added"We had a little trouble along the way."

Peter continued"Our brother's been captured by the White Witch."

Aslan was slightly worried and sad asked his son"Captured ? How could this happen?"

Mr. Beaver answered"He betrayed them,Your Majesty.

There was muttering among the crowd,while Hadrian knew the boy wasn't fully at fault.Jadis was very manipultive and her magic is very hard to resist.

Oreius was angry shouted"Then he has betrayed us all!"

Aslan spoke up"Peace, Oreius. I'm sure there's an explanation."he looked at Hadrian for answers.

Hadrian explained"By the time, I reached them he already left to meet Jadis and from what Fox found from the trees that witnessed his first time to Narnia,it seems Jadis conjured some food that he accepted,she must have used her addiction enchantment for this.I mean probably induced desires into Edmund, to the point where he couldn't not get enough of it,Edmund probably became so utterly addicted to it, and could not stop thinking about it."

The Pevensie sibilings now knew there brother wasn't fully at fault,the witch tricked him.Now they were hoping, Aslan would get there brother back to them safely.

Aslan nodded understanding everything,while Peter added"It's my fault too, really.I was too hard on him."

Susan joined in"We all were."

Lucy pleaded to Aslan"Sir, he's our brother."

Aslan hummed and replied"I know, dear one. But that only makes the betrayal all the worse.This may be harder than you think ."
