(Before Hades spoke with Demeter)

With a grunt, Zeus awakens. His form battered and bruised as he slowly sits up from his laying position. He was back on Crete, in a Parthenon. He was in one of the inner rooms covered in pillows and blankets with ornate design, there was another person in the room as well, Amaltheia. The goat woman Hades had fun with not even a night before was sitting in the corner embroidering something on a pillow that looks oddly similar to a penis; however as soon as she hears Zeus's grunt of pain she immediately perked up, quickly coming to his side, making sure he was alright.

Zeus was like a son to her, when he was little she took care of him in his mothers stead which was quite often considering her role as queen of the Titans. She was there when he took his first step and said his first word so obviously she would care for him deeply. Her relationship with his brother having no effect on her relationship with Zeus.

"Did we win?" He asked looking at her with anticipation, he could guess since they were alive, but still, knowing Hades abilities its not too insane to think they lost and he just teleported them away.

Grabbing his hand with the gentleness of a mother she responds kindly.

"You did Zeus, from what I heard you and your siblings fought gloriously." Zeus's face immediately lights us at the good news only for it to fall at what she says next.

"Though Greece paid a heavy price. Near the end of the battle Hades had to use something I can hardly fathom causing the entirety of Greece to decay into a barren desert. However I'm sure he's working on a way to fix it, he seems to be especially fond of the mortals." With a sigh at having hastily spoke the news and assurances she winds down, there was no need to go so fast. They won, the gods are the rulers now.

Zeus hearing the news of a decimated Greece, the very land he was fighting to rule did sting him a bit but he could always expand his territory, and he doubted Gaia would like a desert in a place she didn't condone. As he was thinking of the state of Greece a thought suddenly struck him. He had to reinforce his position, he had two brothers, both of whom were his elders, he had to ensure that he was King.

"I need to finish off the remaining titans and speak with my sisters." He moves to get up but Amaltheia immediately pushes him back down with enough force to make her point clear.

"That can wait, you are healing, your sisters are healing, Hades is.. busy, there is no reason to rush off and fight even more let alone fight refugee Titans." At the mention of Hades she gained a small blush that Zeus thought was strange but thought nothing of it after that. He supposed that she was right, he knew somewhat how the underworld worked especially since Hades took up the mantel of King so he knew that he was most definitely bogged down dealing with the influx of souls.

Deciding to listen to is surrogate mother he lays back down with a grunt of pain, the holes in his body still not healed completely, Gods had incredible regeneration abilities but not when it comes to magic or enchanted weapons. When Zeus felt the tinge of pain her was as certain as he would ever be that the bracelets on Atlas's wrists enchanted his fists with anti-healing or delay damage magic.

Lying back down his breath slows as he slowly drifts off to Dreamworld, his pain fading as his consciousness leaves him. Amaltheia seeing him peacefully rest grows a smile on her face, she loves him deeply and hopes that he will live up to being King of the Gods.

Letting go of his hand she leaves the Parthenon being greeted with a barren desert, the many hits and buildings clearly not built with such terrain in mind evidenced by the sand covered floors with copious amounts blowing in through windows with every gust of wind. It was strange for her to see her home like this and if she was any other nymph she would be freaking out just like most of them were, but she knew better, she could tell as he absolutely dominated her that Hades has a plan to fix things and its only a matter of time before he does.

Her cheeks redden as she remembers the tryst she had with the God of death only hours ago her hand unconsciously going to her stomach.

(Angela(demi-light god))

It was a bright sunny day, one that was welcome to her and her people. She was sitting in a field of beautiful roses currently doing nothing. Around the field we multiple tents made of various hides. It was a great day, she could feel it. She was currently 17 and still vividly remembers the reason she is here, the reason she could be who she is. She closes her eyes, and starts to think of, him.

He was tall, less than a giant but more than man. He was fit, more lean than any of the men of her tribe and he was handsome, handsome enough to make her go crazy. She often thinks of him, of Hades, and everything he did to her. He plucked her from her aimless wandering and rebirthed her a Demi-God, one capable of miracles. She was thankful to say the least, often 'praying' to her unknown god not really knowing what he's the god of and what type of things he prefers. Like would her want her to pray at night or day, on her knees or standing, maybe he would want sacrifices, blood spilled in his name or maybe he wanted women, or men, she wouldn't judge. Her mind continues to drift from the toils of life as she relaxes into the meadow.

"I wonder why he picked, me?" she says aloud maybe hoping that he could hear her question and answer. Due to her Demi-god soul she is much, much more advanced in intelligence than her fellow humans but she wasn't before. Which led her to wonder why, out of all the millions of souls she saw, that he chose her.

*RUMBLE*

She's pulled from her daydreaming with a echoing rumble feeling like the earth beneath her is suddenly water she hastily stands up to combat the danger. Yet there was nothing, no bear, or lion, no giant or basilisk... nothing. Her fellow tribemates coming out of their tents with the same urgency and alarm, spears in hand. Yet there was nothing. No monster or menace. Yet, the world disagreed.

*RUMBLE!* Much louder than before the rumble knocks them all off their feet, stumbling into the dirt.

She looks up, her pristine and pretty face stained with dirt and sees something she can only cry at. Without any further thought she jumps up and starts running foregoing and idea of leading her people. The encroaching doom forcing the undeniable reality of helplessness upon her. She runs with all her being, hoping beyond hope that it would stop before it hit her. Her hope was similar to the daydream she was having just moments before, Useless.

The trees, the grass, the flowers, the seeds.. the plants. Gone. The birds, the insects, the deer, the bears.. the animals. Gone. Until she and her people too, were gone. Having death unceremoniously steal them away.

(???)

I walk the endless sands of idea. I guard the universe of imagination, the world of hope. I entail with me the promise of a future. And I sustain the proliferation of fantasy and vision.

For I, am Dream.
