Chapter 75

Lady Yana was sitting in a hut with woman who was a Seerer, they were born with no eyes or even sockets and tall skeletal looking frames.

" one who has the dark and the light inside them, the pure darkness runs through their dark halves" the Seerer said, Yana clicks her tongue and taps her foot on the ground.

" the mother and daughter have the power to bring destruction or peace to world, everyone thinks the demons are always the wicked. Only late to find out that a celestial born from the upper realm can be just as or worse than a demon." the Seerer said as she rises from her seat and walks out of the front room of the hut, a big humanoid creature who looks like a boar and man mix stands guard. Yana leaves the hut, returning to her home by wagon.

Tai walks with Ari on one of the paths to check out the barrier in place, somehow the infected are getting through or people are going out of the barrier. They walk the path for over a hour and come across a large building that has vines and moss covering it. A cold chill covers Tai body as she visibly shudders and walks toward the chained door, Ari grabs her hand and has fearful look on her face.

" I don't like this we need to leave this place " Ari said while quickly looking around the area, the sky above them started to get dark like night time was arriving.

" what is going on we still have six hours until night time" Tai said looking down the path where she notices how its still daylight over 600 yards away. Darkness started consuming the area around them where they both use light spells having several orbs of light surrounding them. Even though it looks like night time there is no moon or stars above them it's like darkness just swallowed the area and space around them. If it wasn't for the light orbs they wouldn't be able to see a inch in front of them, Tai intertwines their hands while pulling out her dagger.

Loud growls started coming from the way they were facing, in the distance they started seeing glowing eyes appearing around them. Tai goes to the door breaking the chains off of them, she heard loud cracking noises getting closer to them and she pulls Ari into the building with her closing the door behind them.

" what the hell is going on " Ari said while pulling her bow and quiver out and Tai uses earth magic to block the door. Ari pulls out the communication jade, she could not get it to work at all. Tai sees a rat run away from them into the darkness of the room, screeching and crunching noises could be heard. They walk forward the light hits what's left of the rats body that seemed to be suspended in the air by darkness and drops to the floor when more light shines on it.

" Ari what ever we do we can't let our lights go out " Tai said while they look around the large building that had old books, clothes and bones of different kinds laying around. They walk over using some of the old books to use in different spots to light the large room and they both stare toward the back of the building.

" we won't go toward there unless we have to go that way, the energy in here is off and its even more off back toward that room" Ari said while looking around the large area, her ears twitch hearing a low cracking noise coming from the darkness in this building. Loud bangs and claws scratching at the door they entered through, Tai sighs pulling Ari into a tight hug and walks over to a corner behind a old broke down desk.

" Let's rest for right now and conserve our energy " Tai said whil pulling Ari into her lap, she places a kiss on top of Aris head.
