chapter 7: the broken dragon

"Pick him up and let's go." the leader said

Tatsou then tried to breathe fire on the net but it didn't do anything to it.

"You won't burn threw that it's fireproof so just sit there and relax." the leader said

"Up we go." a man said as he picked up the net

"Next up go to the boy's house and see if the dragon is there." the leader said

"Right." some of them said as they got in a vehicle and drove off

"Please don't be there." Tatsou said to himself

They put Tatsou in a vehicle and drive a different location.

"Attention all citizens we have caught the dragon and you will all be safe again." the leader said

"Hey do you why you haven't seen anyone like you it's b/c we get to take them and that's that." a man said

"Where do they go?" Tatsou asked

"Not my jurisdiction so I don't know." the man said

All they heard out was people cheering.

"They're cheering for you to disappear like the others did before you." the man said

The other men got to Flame's house but everything was gone.

"Sir there's nothing there everything is gone." the man said over the radio

"What do you mean?" the leader asked

"Everything is gone." he said back

"Great." the leader said as they got to their base

They took Tatsou out and brung into a room chained him up arms above his head legs chained down and his wings were not even touched.

"Alright I want you to answer some questions for me." the leader said

"Why?" Tatsou asked

"First question where are they?" the leader said

"Don't know." Tatsou answered back

"Pull." the leader said

A man came over and pulled on his wing.

"Urg." Tatsou mounded

"Will you answer?" the leader asked

"Like I said I don't know." Tatsou said

"Pull." the leader said

The man pulled again but harder.

"Where are they!" the leader yelled

"Even if I did know I won't tell you!" Tatsou yelled back

"Pull." the leader said

"But sir if I pull his wing any more it will break." the man said

"I said pull." the leader said

"Alright." the man said as he pulled his wing again

"ahhhhhhhhhh" Tatsou yelled as his wing broke

"Good enough better get ready to talk tomorrow." the leader said as he walked away and the other guy followed behind

"It hurts." Tatsou said as he was crying

He looked up at the chains that was on a hook then looked at his other wing.

"That might work." Tatsou said as he used his other wing to sort of fly up

He unhooked himself and he fell to the ground.

"Ouch, these can come off now." Tatsou said as he moved his arms and the chains broke then he broke the chains on his feet

He got up and wobbled.

"I've got no balance great." Tatsou said as he got to the door and opened it with his strength

He walked down the hallway or tried to any way.

"How long is this hallway." Tatsou thought

"The dragon has escaped I repeat dragon has escaped." the voice said

"Oh I was found out better get a move on." Tatsou said as he was moving faster down the hallway

"Hey follow me." a guy that had a black hood covering his face

Tatsou moved a different direction.

"Man why me. I need to get to them" Tatsou said

The man in black disappeared and he meet up with a girl also in black.

"Did you see him?" she asked

"Yes I did and it might be a problem getting him out of here." he said

"Don't worry to much Duncan." she said

"I know but Anna but we need to find a different way now." Duncan said

"I'll make one and I will contact you just get him." Anna said

"On it." Duncan said as he ran off

"It's getting harder harder to run." Tatsou said to himself

Tatsou stopped in the hallway then he knelt down on the ground.

"Found him!" someone yelled in the distance

Duncan fell in front of Tatsou.

"Up we go kid." he said as he put him under his arm

"Hey let go!" Tatsou yelled

He threw down a smoke grenade then he jumped up.

"Find him!" someone yelled

"I said let me go!" Tatsou yelled

"Oh hush." Duncan said as he hit the back of his neck and he passed out

He looked around and went to find Anna.

"Anna where are you!" Duncan yelled

"Right here." Anna said as she faced him

"Good now let's get out of here this kid is heavy." Duncan said as he looked at her

"Alright 3..2..1..explode." Anna said

Then the side exploded and made a hole in the wall.

"Let's go!" Duncan said as he went threw the hole

Anna followed behind him then stopped.

"Anna come on let's go!" Duncan yelled

"Give me a minute." Anna said

"No come on I can't lose you to not to these guys." Duncan said as he came up and grabbed her arm

"Don't worry." Anna said

Tatsou lifted his arm and use his fire magic at the hole then put it back down.

"Well that will work." Anna said. "Now let's go."

They left and the guy came up to the hole.

"Shit there's a fire we can't get threw." one said

They got to a camp and it was night at this point and Tatsou was on his back.

"Alright come on this way." Anna said as she went to a tent and opened it up "Lane we're back and we need help!"

"Quiet down. Anna your father has been looking for you and Duncan if you ever take her outside here again." Lane said as she pulled her hand back ready to slap him then she noticed Tatsou then she put her hand down

"Lane we're sorry but we didn't know-" Anna said as she was cut off

"Put him on the bed and on his stomach." Lane said as she pointed to Tatsou after she noticed he had wings

"Um alright." Duncan said as he put Tatsou down

"Did you notice anything?" Lane asked

"No why?" Duncan asked

"Alright let me show you." Lane said as she grabbed Tatsou's broken wing

"Urg." Tatsou moaned

"As I thought." Lane said

"What do you mean?" Anna asked

"He has a broken wing and the only to fix it is to pop it back in place." Lane said

"So how many hands do we need?" Duncan asked

"What Duncan wait." Anna said

"We brought him here better help him." Duncan said

"Alright then we need five pairs of hands not counting me because I'm putting it back." Lane said

"We're going to have look around tomorrow to find help." Duncan said as he turned around

"Alright now Anna tell your father that you're back alright." Lane said

"Right." Anna said as she went out the door

Duncan and Anna left and went to bed. Lane stayed with Tatsou then she fell asleep.

"Where am I?" Tatsou asked himself as he got up and looked around

Then he noticed Lane.

"Whose she?" Tatsou asked

He got up and tried to walk to her.

"Um where am I?" Tatsou said as he was reaching for her shoulder

"Don't you touch her!" Someone yelled as they came in

Tatsou jumped back.

"Father wait!" Anna yelled as she followed behind

"What the hell is wrong with you all." the father yelled

He started walking toward Tatsou.

"You are not allowed to touch him." Lane said as she got up

"Lane we can't take care of him." the father said

"My lord I'm sorry but it was my own decision." Lane said

"Fine we'll talk in the morning." the father said as he walked off

"Sorry." Anna said as she looked at Tatsou and followed behind him

Tatsou looked at Lane and asked "Where am I?".

"Camp." Lane said

"How did I get here?" Tatsou asked

"Duncan brought you here." Lane said

"Duncan?" Tatsou said

"You'll see in the morning." Lane said. "Now just get some rest for the morning so we can fix that wing of yours."

"Alright?" Tatsou said as he sat down on the bed

"Night." Lane said as she went back to sleep

Tatsou sat on the bed looking everywhere.

"Xiuhcoatl can you hear me?" Tatsou asked

No answer.

"I guess not." Tatsou said as he got up and stretched and sat back down on the bed

"Get some sleep will you." Lane said as she looked at him

"Ok." Tatsou said as he got startled

In the morning.

"Hey wake up." Anna said as she shok him

"Five more minutes." Tatsou said as he held up his hand

"Nope. Now get up." Duncan said as he dragged him out of bed

Tatsou made a big thud on the floor.

"Ouch." Tatsou said as he got up

"You ready." Lane said as she looked at Duncan

"Ready?" Tatsou asked

"Yes they're waiting." Duncan said

"What's going on?" Tatsou asked

"We're going to fix your wing." Anna said

"No it's fine." Tatsou said

"No it's not fine." Lane said as she turned around and had a very mad face

"Um okay." Tatsou said

"I'm going to get them." Duncan said as he went out the door

"Well come on we better get this over with." Anna said

"Sorry." Lane said as she came up behind him

"What." Tatsou said as he turned around

"Down the hatch." Lane said as she forced him to drink something

"The f..uck." Tatsou said as he passed out on the floor

Duncan came in with people behind him.

"What did you do this time?" Duncan asked as he came over to Tatsou

"A little sleeping meds." Lane said

"A little she says." Duncan said

"It also has pain killer in it." Lane said

"Well let's get this over with." Anna said

"Alright now move the table and someone grab his tail, another two his arms then two to grab his legs." Lane said

"I'll cover his mouth if it gets hairy." Duncan said

"Time to pop it back in place." Lane said as she came over to his wing and pop it back in place

Tatsou screamed.

"Cover that mouth!" Lane yelled

"Right!" Duncan said as he covered it

They let go then left and Duncan moved his hand and he was bleeding.

"Kids got a strong bite." Duncan said

"Lane bandage him and I will get Duncan." Anna said as she pointed to Tatsou

"Right the bandages are over there." Lane said as she pointed to a cabinet

"Alright here." Anna said as she threw it at her

"Thanks." Lane said as she started wrapping up his wing

Anna wrapped up Duncan's hand.

"There. Now Duncan come and pick him up and put him on the bed." Lane said

"Right." Duncan said as he picked Tatsou up and put him on the bed
