Oath Guard

**Big thanks to Luke Karls for your support**

As the battle raged on the two sides on the battle field were no longer distinguishable. The two sides had melded into one chaotic bloody mesh of flesh. With indistinguishable sounds rising from all over.

Lothor broke out into a raucous laughter, as he continued to swing his axes. His body red from the blood that clung to him from head to toe, the various scars that littered his body continued to contribute to this red coat he wore. With his arms numb and heavy as lead, Lothor continued to swing.

He knew not if he would see the night sky much more tomorrow's sun but his smile never once left his face.

Benjen on the other hand sported a heavy expression, Ronell in normal battles stood afar and then with the aid of his animals and his birds contributed to the battle. In this battle however he was forced into a situation where he had to fight in close quarters when he little to no experience. This forced Benjen to remain by his ide to protect him, having to protect someone in addition to himself however had drained him.

He had already stopped swinging with his sword and was using his shield to not just receive attacks but fight, relying solely on his will power alone. His will power alone however was proving itself to not be enough as his shield was chipped away with each strike it took.

A plethora of emotions run through Benjen's mind, but all he could do as he parted his lips was scream out to the heavens.

The earth as though in response to his cry began to tremble.

From the right Freya had finally arrived with the full might of the Free folk behind her. Looking at the mess before her, she wasted no time and screamed out for the free folk to follow her into battle. The charge of the free folk drew the attention of those on the outskirts of the battle.

Their eyes widened as the veritable horde charged at them and collided into them head first.

Managing to reach out from under the corpses which had began to pile upon himself, Arthor took a dee breath to ready himself to continue fighting. In doing so he noticed the change in the battle and the new comers, a wide grin graced his face as he realized 'they did it'.

With this new knowledge Arthor screamed out, his voice carrying over the noise. Everyone was now aware of the free folk allies who had joined the battle and moved to accommodate this change. Those of Arthor's allies still alive moved to join the allies and push back against the enemies.

Soon the battle field began to gain some semblance of order as the battle itself tilted to Arthor's favour. They however found it hand to show joy as the order of the battle field revealed to them just how many of their friends and family were already lost.

They could not yet mourn as the battle still raged on, they could only swallow their grief as they channeled their grief and anger into the enemy who were beginning to loose morale. The order inside the battle field allowed for the enemy to realize that Arnolf had already fallen to battle.

With one side gaining substantial reinforcements alongside a raise in morale and the other experiencing a sharp decline in their morale with the knowledge that their leader is dead. The outcome was all too clear.

With the rising of the midday sun the deaths on both size increased and the battle had come to an end. With the silence Arthor looked around his group to see who had remained, so many of the people who had sat with him around the fire were no more.

Arthor focused his eyes to search for a family, breathing a sigh of relief once he saw his father and his brothers were okay. Seeing Lagertha was alive and relatively okay a smile threatened to break out but his eyes widened once he saw who Lagertha had in her arms.

Meha lay lifeless in Lagertha's arms with a slash wound stretching from the crown of her head and down to her abdomen.

He had done it, he had enacted vengeance, he had taken down all who stood in his path but now another member of his family was dead, and as he laid eyes on her body. Arthor could honestly say if all this was worth it.

All other tribes in the surrounding area were quick to surrender once news of Arthor's victories reached their ears. The war was done Arthor had won and now it was time to mourn their dead.

One of the many things that happened as a result of their victory was Freya gaining a title of her own Freya the Oath guard.
