By the time I woke up it was already late in the night. The room was dark but seems like a candle was lit in the living room as I can see some light passing through the closed door of my room. I sat back on my bed for few seconds to adjust the sleepiness. I got up from my bed and walked towards the door and opened it. The room was lit with two candles the other two rooms were closed seems like my little sister and my father has already asleep.

 I walked towards the table and saw that there was food arranged on the table and covered with cloth and utensils which is more than enough for me. I picked up one candle from the room and one of the tray with my other hand and walked inside my room and placed it on the small table that is available in my bedroom and then I walked back into the living room and brought back the remaining food into the bedroom while closing the door with my leg.

When I Saw the food, I was a bit surprised because there was meat among the food. Normally peasants don't get to eat meat in a regular days. They usually fill their stomach with some broth of rice,rye or wheat and vegetables or wild roots that are available or cultivated around the villages or settlements. Happy that there was enough broth,bread and meat I summoned my little dragon again.

The little dragon appeared from my shadows, which work as a door to my summon space and started looking around with its sleepy eyes then he saw me and purred to me. Somehow I can now understand what my little dragon is trying to say.

*purrr*[Hello daddy I'm hungry.]

I was initially shocked that Clearskye is seeing me as his father but that was only for few seconds and then I was happy that my little dragon has recognized me as his father I bent down and picked him up and rubbed my nose against his to which he purred again.

*purr…purrr*[stop it daddy... it's itching]

Smile escaped my lips and said to my little dragon softly "OK OK I will stop now. Come let's have some food, for now we have little meat. Which should be enough for the night. Tomorrow we will see what we can do while going around the forest behind the Manor there should be some squirrels or maybe some other animal available for you to eat."

We both started eating the food and devoured it completely within few minutes. It seems like we both were really hungry. I can understand, as the little dragon was having its first meal. Not sure if the meal should include meat for him but I'm not too worried as Summon space would take care of it. It will convert whatever food my little dragon eats into proper nutrition that can help into his growth.

After finishing the dinner I brought back the plates to the living room table while telling my little dragon to stay inside the room under the bed as I don't want to risk anything by exposing my little son.

I walked to the things that we brought back from the village where my father has placed them in the living room. I rummaged around and found a short sword which is suitable for my height along with a dagger and I turned to go back to my room.

Seems like my rummaging has made some noise as my father came out from the room. He looked at me and then the table. Seeing that I have finished my dinner he asked me –

"Did you have a good rest my son?"

I replied "Yes father it was a good sleep. Not sure how many hours has passed."

"Not much. It is just eight hours since we have come here. What are you doing with those dangerous things in your hand? You may hurt yourself while playing with them." He asked.

"Nothing father, I just woke up and it would be difficult for me to get back to sleep any sooner now. So, I thought to get some exercise by swinging the swords and since these both are blunt and not sharpened I think they are safe." I replied while reassuring him that I understood the risks

"It looks like you understand what you are holding in your hands. Good. But be careful don't stress your body too much. Looking at your face it seems like you are feeling much better now. Also you seem to have changed to be much livelier and this change is good." James said with a smile

I was startled for a second and then got back my bearings and said "Yes father. I was in pain before so I couldn't fully express myself. But now that the pain seems to have gone I want to improve my body to be much healthier like those Knights."

"I am happy for you son. It seems like taking the medicine for all these years has help you to improve your health. Looks like I have to thank the village healer when we go back. I was starting to wonder that all the silver that I've spent on the medicine was for a fake one. Thank the seven that it is not so." James said happily whilst patting my shoulder softly as if he would hurt me if he patted me a little harder.

"Yes father, seems like we have to thank him. I'm going to go back to my room now and get some sweat and then sleep again. You take care now father and see you again in the morning." I waved my hand to him and went back to my room and closed the door.

'That was a close one. Thank God I did not bring my little dragon with me to the living room.' My little dragon seems to be very obedient it is still in the place where I left him. I set my short sword and the dagger at the edge of the bed and went down and lifted my son by placing my arms under the front limbs and said "Skye thank you for being a good boy. I will take you to the forest tomorrow and you can run around like you want when nobody's around as long as you are within my reach. is that OK?"

*purr*[Yes father]*excitedly* while waving his 4 little limbs and little wings.

"Now rest a little, skye. I need to do some exercise before sleeping." I said while rubbing his little head with my palm and unsummoned him to my summons space.

Taking a deep breath I went to the short sword first and started taking vertical swings. From what I understand from the system instruction, that was given to me by the orb when I was done with the roulette was, as long as I do a certain task related to the skill 100 times I would be able to create a skill related to the task. But the thing is, I cannot do this for any passive skills like, I cannot read 100 words from my book and expect to get complete knowledge on the book. If I need to learn a new language I need to learn it in a normal way. It's painful, I know, but it will keep me occupied while my other skills are being honed by the system.

But the active skills such as sword mastery, spear mastery, archery, dual wielding, horse riding etc., I am able to add them as a skill as long as I do the repetition 100 times.

That is what I am doing now. I want to add the sword and dagger mastery to my skill list. My dream is to have a dual wielding ability in my past life. I became kind of a fan of it after seeing kirito in the anime and I'm sure that I can achieve it in this life with my sister.

After a few repetitions of vertical swings I started doing horizontal swings, diagonal swings with up down and bottom up approach. Also I started doing the stabbings. My form was not good, it was messy. I am breathing from my mouth and I am exhausting myself by simply exerting too much force at sometimes or too little force at sometimes. My legs were in disorder while waving the sword and I am self-aware of it and I'm not too worried. Because I know that, as long as I add this as my skill, I should be able to know how to stand, how to hold the sword, how to take a step, how to do a correct swing properly.
