As I continue to do that nonstop, I received a system message.

Finally I let go of the sword on the bed so as to not make any noise in the silent night. I laid back on the side of my bed while dangling my legs from the bed. I took some deep breaths and decided to look at the status screen.

'Finally the swordmanship has been added. Also there is an update in the bonds as well. Empty space was replace with my little dragon Clearskye.'

'I'm in no shape to wield a dagger now. Should I proceed?' I thought. 'Let's wait a few minutes and then decide. My ankles, my whole hands and the back are hurting it seems like I am done for today. I will have to add my dagger arts tomorrow.' I thought as I close my eyes and dripped into Nirvana.

I slept soundly in that position without moving. As I woke up the next day, it was already clear sky and the sun was shining little below my head.

'It should be around 10 in the morning' I thought and I observed that I was sleeping in a proper position on my bed. The sword and the dagger were placed on the table at the side of the bed on which I had my dinner.

'Looks like father has come in and adjusted me while I was sleep' a small smile escaped from my lips. It feels good to have a caring father in this life as opposed to the alcoholic I had in my earlier life. I got off from my bed and walked into the living room, I saw that nobody was in the house so I went out while closing the door of the house and locking it.

I found a servant and asked him "Hello do you happen to know where my father is? He is the blacksmith that was allocated that room yesterday."

the servant said "Yes, my dear. He is in the other side of the mansion. Steward Micah has come in the morning to meet up with the rest for blacksmiths."

"What about my little sister?"

"Your little sister is playing along with the other kids in the garden, which is outside the Manor"she replied.

"Thank you and sorry for taking your time."

"No worries dear. you seem to have just woke up and did not break your fast. Why don't you go to the kitchen and grab something to eat. It is right around turn left corner." she said as we parted ways.

From there I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. It was nothing much, just a broth and bread. I quickly had my food and went to the garden where my little sister is I saw that there are other children who are around same age of me and my sister who are playing around and having fun. I saw that my sister is safe as there are guards placed around every corner.

I walked towards the blacksmiths area as I walked I hear the clinking sounds that are coming from the huge warehouse like building. I went in and observed a little and saw that there were about 12 blacksmiths and around 20 apprentices.

I walked towards my father after locating him and then ask him, "Do you need help father?"

James was adding the woods to the fire to get it to the optimal temperature for the metal to metal melt so that he can make whatever that is asked of him.

My father looked at me and said, "Oh you are up. Did you break your fast?"

I said "Yes, father."

"No I don't need your help for now. Go get some rest or a roam around. Your sister is with other children. Don't forget to have lunch. I will come back in the evening. Don't worry, I got this handled. Once you are properly rested and I feel that you can come here, I will bring you. Till then all you have to do is rest well and get well soon."

My heart warmed with my father's words "Thank you father. I will look around the mansion now and you take care as well and don't forget to eat" I simply wave my hand and went out of the warehouse.

'Yesterday I promised Skye that I would take him into the forest so that he can run around and have fun while also see if we can get any game. While I did not do much hunting myself, I used to go with my neighbors or my father whenever they go out for hunting small animals like rabbits, small animals or birds. So I know how to handle a trap but I never did it myself looks like we have to try today.'

I walked out of the Manor towards the forest it is sparsely populated forest. since we are located in the desert zone, the forest itself are not so dense. However it is safe to say that there are quite a few rodents available in this small forest. I walked around and saw that there are few traps already available around the area.

'looks like the hunters of people around the mansion come here for regular hunting.' I left the area which has lot of traps and slowly walked towards what looks like a small hill. As I walked towards the hill I saw that there were very few traps along the path. I saw that in one of the tracks there is a rabbit that is trapped. I quickly looked around and saw that there is no one and slowly walked towards the trap and remove the rabbit from it.

'Its neck was broken and dead. There were no blood stains around the trap. Hence all I have to do is reset the trap and take the rabbit away since I have seen people doing it so many times I think I should handle it.' without any hesitation I reset the trap and I quickly ran out of that area towards the hill. I found a small cave like space that is available at the bottom of the hill which is about 2 meters about the ground there are stones that are protruding out of it which would make it easier for me to climb up. And so I did. I took help of the rocks that are protruding out of the hill and slowly climbed up into the cave. Then I saw inside that cave, 'It looks like there is a nest of some bird which I do not recognize.'

There are only 3 eggs in the nest and few rodent bones around it. 'It seems like the bird went out to get some food or something.'

I summoned skye in the area he was excited to come out and said,

*Purrr* [Father are we going outside today]

I playfully patted his head and said "Look around. You are already outside." And he looked around with his shining eyes. I almost laughed out for his cute behavior. "Here I also caught you some food along the way."

*purr*[Father, you are so great]

He said with his little shining eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle awkwardly because he contributed the success of the hunting to me and I took the compliment quite shamelessly. I cannot look week in front of my little son. "Here take it and eat it." I said as I placed the rabbit in front of him the cute little dragon observed the rabbit for few seconds and started tearing it apart by his instincts and started devouring it. I was quite surprised to find my little dragon to be so ferocious. 'Maybe because that's what Dragons looks like in the wild. Skye's instincts kicked in when he found food. When Skye becomes a bit more stronger and larger then he could fly with his little wings. Then I would just have to make sure that nobody can observe him so that he can hunt himself freely. Maybe I think it is time for me to start hunting so that my son is not hungry or maybe fishing would be much better because there is a small tributary of the river on the left side of the mansion. A small village settlement is available there. Maybe I should learn fishing and hunting so that both me and my little dragon have sufficient nutrition available for us.'

While I was in my musings my little dragon has completely finished the rabbit leaving nothing of it he even devoured the skin. I can understand that. Dragons, as I've seen in this series, completely devour horses and other prey. We both relaxed in The Cave for some time as I heard small fluttering sound coming from outside. I see that an eagle has come in from the opening of The Cave and by the looks of it it seems not too happy with my visit.

'I thought of getting out before whatever bird this nest belong to has come back in without making much disturbance. But looks like I have missed it.'

When the eagle was about to rush to me Skye quickly jumped up and grab the eagle and push it down which gave me a short break to recompose myself and came to its back with one hand around the wings and other holding the head by gripping its beak.

The eagle was quite big it is as big as my torso but it has less weight much higher than my son. But I was able to hold him. "I am sorry that I have come into your home, but we were just relaxing. We did not harm your eggs so how about we let this go. I go on my way and you can do whatever you want."

But the eagle doesn't seem to understand so I used my system to activate the bond function. As last night I decided that I am going to anyhow select few birds and small animals. Why not this eagle?

With the bond function I was able to communicate with the eagle.

"Listen I want to form a contract with you. It is a kind of friendship between you and me and we will take care of each other and I can assure you that you will not have any problem with the food and you will grow much stronger,faster than you are now. You can take care of your kids and you can be friends with my little dragon here as well. Do you understand?"

The eagle seemed to understand a bit and slow down its squiggling I slowly let go of his head and beak. She squawked a little but I understood what she meant - she asked me not to harm her kids.

So I explained him again "Do not worry I will not harm your kids. You will be my family from now on if you agree to be my summon and submit to me."

The eagle looks like she thought for a couple of seconds had agreed with a *squawk* the next second the system prompt came -

A contract was created between us I looked at her and asked "Now I'm going to confirm again with you. Do you agree to completely submit to me?"

The eagle replied, *squawk*which means it agreed.
