GONE WITH THE FLOW

I felt a sudden gush of wind, I looked up to the road but there wasn't any car in sight, it was not possible that a car would pass so fast that I couldn't even see the rear lights anymore. I decided that it was all in my head, I was probably so scarred that I began to imagine things. With the thought in mind I decided to go inside the school to wait for dad, there was no one in school anymore or if there were any none of them were in sight. I went into the field and sat on one of the bleachers still waiting for dad, I know I wasn't right to forget to pick George on his first day of school but leaving me stranded hours after my last class was definitely wicked there wasn't any cars around the area anymore so i couldn't even get home on my own. I felt a gush of wind which snapped me out of my thoughts, I turned left to see Chris sitting next to me, I was more scared than shocked, like how in the world did he get there without making a sound and worse he looked so pale like he could literally be mistaken for a statue. "mate" he whispered under his breath, what was that even supposed to mean. "Why are you here, When did you get here, answer me!!" I almost yelled asking him a bunch of questions but not the one that bordered me most, 'why did he look like he cared?' He suddenly looked forward into the distance then sighed. " Your dad is here, I'll answer all your questions next time." he said. I looked forward as well but there was no way to tell that my dad was here. " what do you mean by my dad is here, there's no one there." I stated while turning towards him but he wasn't there any longer. At this point, a thousand and one thoughts were going through my head, I was worried that I just hallucinated, but most of all I was scared that all that just happened might have been real. Out of curiosity I picked my books and went back to the gate to my surprise I met dad scowling. Dad kept scolding me for not waiting outside the gate for him but I ignored him and went into the back sit the only question in my mind, 'how did Chris know dad was here?

First day of College

The rest of the week went by quite fast and soon it was Monday, George had gone on his trip round town with Chris on Friday and of course came home to boast about it. They also went out on Saturday and then the whole family except me of course went for a picnic with the Edwards on Sunday then they had dinner together before coming in.

Dad had gotten me a car as a gift for passing my SAT exams with flying colors so I had my own car but it wasn't the best experience considering I had to drive and pick George from school. George's was about a kilometer before mine so I dropped him off before getting to my own school.

The university was located at the outskirts of the town it was quite big not as big as the one at Oklahoma but it was alright. The surroundings of the school were all filled with tall trees the next building after the school was about three hundred meters away, I most definitely won't want to be here at night. I inhaled then went into the school compound. There were so many students scattered all around the school. New students walked around trying to find their way while old students hanged about in different groups catching up after the holidays. I walked about making a few enquiries so I could find my way to the admissions office. I registered a few subjects that I fancied, English, Greek History and Human Biology, by the end of the first semester I would decide which subject to major in. I wasn't a fan of calculations so I chose subjects that didn't have math in them.

"Bella!!" One of the Edward twins called from the other side of the hallway. I sighed and kept walking like I didn't hear her, I had spotted Chris with two boys and a swarm of girls surrounding them. Like what did they think this was, high school? Luckily for me I was going towards the other way so it didn't really seem like I was walking away from her.

"Hey Bella!" She called again this time only a few feet away from me so I had to stop and turn.

"Hi uhm…." I replied trying to guess which of them was coming up to me.

"Darcy." She said as she fell into step with me.

"Oh, hi Darcy." I greeted again using her name as well.

"How are you settling in."

"Very well, thanks for asking." I replied trying not to show that I was anything but interested in this conversation. There were many reasons in which I was irritated by her, most weren't rational though. I didn't like her or any of the Edwards cause of my first impression of them and second cause they were friends with George, that's why my reasons are not rational.

"You know if you need help you can come to us." She said in a sweet voice.

'us' as in the Edward siblings? Definitely not happening. "sure thanks for the offer." There was no way I would tell her that, I'm meant to be nice since I supposedly asked my parents to apologize on my behalf.

"Your welcome," she said with a smile plastered on her face. "Besides I wanted you to know that I forgive you for what you said." Like I said earlier she thinks I sent my parents to apologize how dumb can she be.

"Okay, I got to go to uhh…." I said trying to think of an excuse to get away from her. "Chemistry class, yes chemistry." I wasn't even offering the subject but that was the best I could come up with.

"But we don't have Chemistry till two that's like three hours from now." She said while checking her classes for the day.

"Right but I want to find the class before it starts." I said quickly coming up with a lie.

"Okay, I can take you there I already know the class." She offered. Gosh can't she take a hint, I didn't want to speak with her.

"well I would have loved to but I like challenging myself so I'd like to find it myself." I said in my final attempt to shake her off politely, if still insisted on helping me I would tell she should piss off.

"Alright, good luck." She said and left.

I sighed in relief then went towards the cafeteria, I was famished. It was almost noon and I didn't have breakfast before leaving the house.

MEANWHILE.

CHRIS POV,

I was standing by the school pillars with my friends Chase and Jonas with as usual a swarm of girls surrounding us wanting to know everything about us like they were our new step mothers but I wasn't complaining about the attention, I loved to have the girls around so I can chose whenever I needed to.

"So what do you do for fun on the weekends?" Rose asked. She was the head of the cheer team of the school and just like every other head of cheer she was the schools lead girl or rather the bitch of the school, she was the most popular and feared by most naïve girls in school and she also had the biggest crush on me.

"Well I go on dates with potential girlfriends." I shrugged. The girls chuckled at my words in their sweet high pitched voices.

I looked up after replying to see my sister, Darcy walking up to Bella, the most insolent and annoying girl I know. She acts like she owns the world, she isn't even welcoming to friends and I know this cause I've been watching her all day. I don't like her or anything, just mom said to try and give her a chance since she sent her parents to apologize but I was a hundred percent sure that she didn't so I watched her today to confirm it and now my sister, the ever so nice Darcy was going to speak with her.

"Hey Darcy!" I called out when I saw her walking back with a smile on her face. I stepped away from the girls so she could see me.

"Hi Chris." She said, coming up to me.

"What did she say to you?" I asked.

"I offered to take her to chemistry class but she said she likes a challenge and would like to find it herself." She said with a sweet smile. Darcy was the gullible one, I was sure Dora would be somewhere plotting Bella's demise but Darcy of course believed that Bella was sorry.

"Could you stay away from her?" I knew Darcy would not do it but I asked anyway.

"Come on Chris why would I do that?" She chuckled and waved as she left saying something about getting prepared for her next class.

"OMG your little sister is so cute." Rose complimented as she stood beside me a little too close.

"Sure she is." I replied barely interested, my sights were on the girl who just avoided talking to my sister when my sister was trying to be nice to her.
