GONE WITH THE FLOW

I felt a sudden gush of wind, I looked up to the road but there wasn't any car in sight, it was not possible that a car would pass so fast that I couldn't even see the rear lights anymore. I decided that it was all in my head, I was probably so scarred that I began to imagine things. With the thought in mind I decided to go inside the school to wait for dad, there was no one in school anymore or if there were any none of them were in sight. I went into the field and sat on one of the bleachers still waiting for dad, I know I wasn't right to forget to pick George on his first day of school but leaving me stranded hours after my last class was definitely wicked there wasn't any cars around the area anymore so i couldn't even get home on my own. I felt a gush of wind which snapped me out of my thoughts, I turned left to see Chris sitting next to me, I was more scared than shocked, like how in the world did he get there without making a sound and worse he looked so pale like he could literally be mistaken for a statue. "mate" he whispered under his breath, what was that even supposed to mean. "Why are you here, When did you get here, answer me!!" I almost yelled asking him a bunch of questions but not the one that bordered me most, 'why did he look like he cared?' He suddenly looked forward into the distance then sighed. " Your dad is here, I'll answer all your questions next time." he said. I looked forward as well but there was no way to tell that my dad was here. " what do you mean by my dad is here, there's no one there." I stated while turning towards him but he wasn't there any longer. At this point, a thousand and one thoughts were going through my head, I was worried that I just hallucinated, but most of all I was scared that all that just happened might have been real. Out of curiosity I picked my books and went back to the gate to my surprise I met dad scowling. Dad kept scolding me for not waiting outside the gate for him but I ignored him and went into the back sit the only question in my mind, 'how did Chris know dad was here?

Hottest boy in school

BELLA'S POV

I sat on a table by the window in the school cafeteria while checking my course schedules.

"Here's your order." The waiter said as she dropped my order of burger and cheese with a cup of latte.

"Thanks." I said then began to munch on my food after she left.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the new student who caught Chris' attention." A girl said, standing beside my table.

I kept eating my burger without lifting my head to acknowledge her, besides she couldn't have been talking to me cause there's definitely no way Chris would have his sights on me, the guy loathed me not that I'm complaining or anything.

"Hey can't you see she's talking to you?" another girl spoke. I looked up slowly, there were four girls in front of me, one of them was in front of the other three, I guessed she was the leader and was the one that spoke first but that wasn't what made me look at her a while longer before returning my attention to my food. I was actually wondering if she looked in the mirror before leaving the house. She wore a pink crop top, a pink short skirt, a pink jacket, a pink knee length boot and pink head band. In total she looked like Barbie threw up on her, she totally looked like a pink Easter bunny.

"Hey don't you know it's not nice to ignore people like that?" another girl spoke.

"Don't you know who I am, answer me when I'm talking to you." Barbie said.

"Hey, Barbie I'm trying to eat here, if all you have to do is make ridiculous claims out of jealousy then get lost." I finally spoke to them getting irritated by their disturbance while I was just trying to have a peaceful meal.

"What did you just call me? My name isn't Barbie." She retorted.

"Oh really, you could have fooled me." I said.

"Hey my name is Rose, I am the head cheer and Chris' girlfriend so stay away from him." She practically yelled.

Finally getting fed up with their disturbance, I stood up. "Look if your so insecure then tell your boyfriend to keep his eyes away from me or better still gouge his eyes out." I said then left them there as they stood with their faces in horror.

"Ouch!!" I shrieked as my butt connected with the floor a few meters away from the cafeteria.

"I'm so sorry," the girl that bumped into me apologized as she lent a hand for me to get back up.

"no problem I am fine." I said dusting my clothes.

"Thanks, I was reading this novel, MASK OF DECEPTION, it is so interesting , it's a harlequin novel, you've got to love it, then there's the WAYWARD DEBUTANTE, it's way more interesting , then you've got to read..." she kept on talking about different harlequin series. I just stood and studied her features, she was the same height as me, she had a long brown hair, a light brown eyes and her skin was really pale but not too pale that she would look dead.

"Hey uh, I didn't catch your name." I said to stop her from talking any further.

"Oh sorry, I should have said that first, I can't believe I just went un rambling without telling you my name first." She said as she face palmed herself. "Anyway my name is Talia what's yours?"

"Well I'm Bella and by the looks of it I'm going to be late for my first class in university, just great." I replied with my eyes on my wrist watch.

"Huh, which class is that?" she asked curiously.

"Human Biology class 1."

"But you can't be late." She said grinning weirdly.

I knew there were still about ten minutes left before the class starts but I didn't even know where it was yet. "why would you say that."

"Because we are standing in front of the class silly." She chuckled.

I turned around quickly to see the words HUMAN BIOLOGY HOME ROOM written boldly on the glass doors.

"Oh I didn't know, so do you have this class as well?"

"Yeah, I actually do." She said then walked in before me and I followed closely behind her, we sat at the back of the class while waiting for other students and the professor.

"Hey, uh what you did back there was cool." Talia suddenly spoke as we were waiting for the professor.

"What are you talking about?" I asked a bit confused. What had I done after I met her?

"You know, when you were at the cafeteria with Rose and her friends."

"You mean the jealous girl that was dressed like a Barbie doll?" I asked then she began to laugh.

"Seriously though, you're the only person in this school that doesn't bow to her." She said when she stopped laughing.

"Really?" I asked, the imagination of everyone in school trying to please such a ridiculous looking girl was absolutely that, ridiculous.

"Yeah, the girls worship her cause she's the head cheerleader and the boys are all swoon by her." She explained.

"Now that's serious, what do they think this is, high school?" I asked in a slightly irritated tone.

Before Talia could reply the professor came in so we cut our conversation and focused on the lesson he was trying to convey.

"Hey Bella!" I sighed as I recognized the voice.

I was standing by the walls close to the entrance our school. After Human Biology class which ended at about half past three, Talia took my number and left for her next class while I went for my last class of the day. After class was over Talia called and told me to wait for her here while she got us some ice cream saying that the school served the best ice cream ever so here I was waiting patiently for Talia when Darcy called my name, I knew it was Darcy cause I ran into Dora earlier at Greek history class and she made it very clear that she didn't like me and didn't believe one bit that I was the one that told my parents to apologize. She also told me to stay away from her sister and her brother.

"Hi Darcy, what brings you here?" I asked.

"What do you mean? I came to ask how your first day was silly." She said like she was talking to her younger sister or rather a little child.

"You know it's also your first day of school if you don't realize it." I said in an irritated voice.

"Yeah I know but I've already gotten accustomed to the school since our brother began here." She said in the same tone oblivious of my own tone. This girl really made me pissed off.

"Hey Bella, here's the ice cream, I promise you'll love it." Talia cooed as she walked up to us. I sighed happy that at least I won't have to deal with Darcy alone. "Oh hi Darcy, what are you doing here?" she asked suddenly noticing Darcy.

"You know Darcy?" I asked, I didn't think Talia was the highly social type who knew everyone in school.

"Of course I do, who wouldn't know the sister of the hottest boy in school?" she said with a tinge of pink on her cheeks.

"Hottest boy in school? You mean Chris right? Or does Darcy have another brother I don't know of?" I asked, the horror on my face evident.
