99. Fight 2

Just as they were about to continue the fight a small guy popped in like a cartoon with a plop.

"Hahaha". A hearty laughter came with a small body.

"So what's going on here?" The guy said while looking around with a hand above his eyes.

"Mr Mxyzptlk is here to make your acquaintance". The shot guy said while lifting his hat in front of his chest and bowing towards the both of them.

"I see my big boy is having a serious fight with someone". He said and comically spun his head towards the both of them.

"You better have a good fight. After all, we have an audience watching". He said while looking towards a different direction with shining eyes.

'What does he mean?' Alex thought himself but then his thoughts diverted and he couldn't think about it anymore.

Superman was also shaking his head like he was a bit dizzy from something.

"Anyway, I will be erased if I don't let you continue this fight. See ya guys Later". After that he disappeared with a Plop.

"That's yo Grandpa or something?" Alex said while pointing to the place where Mr Mxyzptlk had been.

"Hmph". Superman snorted and again rushed at Alex.

This time Zatanna intercepted in between and didn't let him get close to Alex.

"You are mine, Blue boy. It's Grey Boy now huh". Zatanna said with a confident smile and whispered the last part to herself.

"Dnib". She said and invisible shackles bound Superman.

He struggled for a bit and broke the shackles with brute strength.

Zatanna didn't care. She just needed some time to conjure her magic anyway.

She muttered something in her breath and giant beams of Lightning fell from the sky.

They targeted Superman like Homing Missiles and didn't give him time to breath.

Superman kept on dodging the beams of Lightning. Every time he was struck, he would get stopped and his body would suffer from some minor injuries.

Zatanna kept up with her onslaught without giving him the time to breath let alone retaliate against her.

Alex on the other hand was facing against the whole Lantern Corps with Hal Jordan, Aquaman and Victor. Joker and Harley were wrecking Havoc with the grunts and Batman was setting something up on the battlefield.

"So you betrayed us". Sinestro said while looking at Aquaman, Green Lantern and Cyborg.

"Yeah yeah, enough chit chat". Alex mocked him and rushed towards them with the others.

The whole armies were already surrounded and the others couldn't escape from here.

Atlantis' army was on their side and together with the Joker clan. They had plenty of manpower to fight The Regime equally.

Devastating rounds of fighting broke out with Alex handling six Lanterns himself. One of them was Sinestro.

He was dodging and retaliating at the same time. The Lantern rings are totally hacks. It can make anyone strong without any training.

Alex was also feeling the pressure while facing Six opponent physically stronger than him.

Their cooperation was really good. Sinestro was doing head on collision while the others were providing support.

They were conjuring various different things with their rings to bombard Alex and Sinestro was enhancing as much as he can to confront him.

Alex was feeling a good amount of pressure and his face had a feral grin.

He was dodging and fighting back with everything he had. Injuries were a minor problem for him at this moment.

He left everything to Avalon and didn't care about anything. He was confronting them head on.

One guy suddenly fell out of the Rhythm and missed his timing by a small amount.

Alex quickly took the chance and grabbed the Lantern by the neck.

"And this finishes it". He said while looking at the others with a dangerous grin.

He tightened his grip with all his strength and broke the guy's neck like chicken. He then threw the body aside like garbage and looked at the rest of them.

"Now it's your turn". Alex said and flew at them with full speed.

Shockwaves and Sonic booms happened behind him. He was using a lot of speed from Gold Experience plus Spirit Force to shield himself.

He quickly narrowed the distance and plunged his hand through another guy's chest.

A beating heart was in his hand and it came out from the guy's back.

"2 dead, 4 to go". Alex said with a happy smile and rushed towards the others.

"Focus and don't panic". Sinestro said to the others and focused on attacking.

Sinestro was sweating a bit. This was the first time he saw heroes of Earth kill others like this.

He has always been detained and never killed whenever he came to attack them.

That's why his courage was so bloated to attack the Justice League again and again.

'Snap out of it'. Sinestro shouted in his mind while he rushing at Alex.

He made a giant yellow hand and swatted at Alex like a mosquito.

Alex dodged the hand from between the Fingers and punched Sinestro in the chest.

The other Yellow Lanterns quickly took action and again surrounded Alex from all direction.

One of them was using a Rocket Turret while the others were various advanced weapons from their rings.

Alex dodged all the attacks and narrowed the distance between them.

Their fights went on for a long time and literally changed the landscape in the place.

They were in the outskirts near the wastelands and Wilderness. So the damage to Public property was negligible but the landscape was completely different.

Alex finally solved all of them and left their bodies without giving them any mind. They weren't useful to him anyway.

The only problem with Lanterns is that all of their powers are given by the ring and they are normal otherwise.

Alex dusted his hands and looked at the others still confronting the Lanterns.

He was just observing for the moment with no plans to interfere.

This was valuable combat experience plus it was their battle and he didn't deem it appropriate to interfere.
