The figure paused for some seconds and looked around as though it sensed someone around.

Sarah felt Flint close her eyes shut with her palm, she didn't struggle as she didn't know why Flint did so,

After some minutes Flint let her hand loose from Sarah's eyes. The first thing she noticed was that the masked figure was no longer there.

She turned to Flint and looked her straight in the eyes, silently asking if she could talk now.

"It's safe to talk now.." Flint told her.

"Why did you close my eyes then, had that masked person killed someone, and you didn't want me to see?"

"No, I noticed he could somehow sense that someone was looking at him, that was why he stopped to observe, some people are very observant like that " Flint explained to her.

"Oh Okay, now the main thing is how are we going to find Ulanni ?" Flint scooted forward steadily, craning her neck,

"Something is happening over there by the big tree" Flint said to Sarah.

From where Sarah was seated she couldn't get a good view of what Flint was showing her, so she tried to shift closer to where Flint was seated, but immediately she let go of her hold on the branch to move forward, she felt herself tilting to the side. "Help!!" Sarah called out to Flint.

Flint looked back to see a terrified Sarah having a free fall down the tree. Darting towards her as fast as she could, and trying to get a hold of her, she managed to grab the ends of her gown,

Flint also felt herself begin to fall, Sarah's weight was pulling her down, Quickly moving her legs to get a hold of the tree with her upper body now hanging below, and her right hand now had a grip on Sarah's cloth.

"Ha, ah..ah thank you, thank you"

Sarah breathed out.

"Don't thank me yet...we might still fall"

Flint said.

"No, you are going to pull us up, Right ?"

Sarah asked for reassurance, she was not ready to die.

"Hold on tight, am going to try to pull us up now" Flint warned.

Sucking in a deep breath, she tightened her core and tried to pull up her upper body, but she didn't get anywhere...She needed momentum...

"Hey, I need you to swing from side to side, can you do that ?" Flint called out to Sarah.

"Have you forgotten you are holding on to my cloth!...What if it rips off !" Sarah said with her eyes opening wide like saucers.

"It wouldn't, the cloth is a bit hard so it wouldn't rip off easily, even if it does I promise to catch you" Flint said.

"You don't sound reassuring to me"

Sarah rebuked.

"Well you can keep dangling down there till my legs can no longer hold both our weights, and I would be forced to let you go" Flint said with a solemn face.

"You evil girl, I knew you had a grudge against me, but don't you think it is going too far, trying to kill me ?" Sarah said with a grimace.

"Well if you don't want that you can start moving blue head" Flint said with a smirk on her face.

Sarah just looked at her with her face scrunched up, after weighing her options she decided to comply. So she started swinging from side to side as Flint had instructed.

"You would have to do better than that if you don't want to be a puddle on the ground" Flint said provoking her to swing better.

When Flint felt that she had the right momentum now, using all the strength left in her she pulled up.

All Sarah felt was herself pulled upwards, and coming to land on one of the branches again, quickly hugging the branch for dear life, she looked up to see Flint now pulling herself up.

Flint just gave her a quick look. "Give me your hand let me help you over here"

With slight hesitation, Sarah stretched forth her hand and was gently guided over to where Flint was, and to where they could get a bird's eye view of the happenings far away.

Looking ahead there appeared to be a ritual going on. All the people standing down there wore masks and were dressed in black, which covered all of their body paths leaving nothing in sight.

"What do you think is happening down there!" Sarah asked.

"Obviously a ritual.." Flint answered.

"No like a ritual for what exactly?" Sarah rephrased.

"That I do not know, try looking around for the pink head, we all need to get out of here." Flint said while scanning around for Ulanni.

Looking carefully behind trees and in small bushes, Sarah tried to ask herself, If I was a lonely Ulanni trying to sneak around, where would I hide ?'

First off Ulanni doesn't have the confidence to just stand behind a tree, nor in the bushes, she would want to be close to the action taking place…, that's right! The trees!."

Sarah started searching the tree's top, and to her far right she spotted an unusual shape on a tree branch.

Looking closely she realized it was the shape of someone lying down, and pressing their bodies as though trying to become one with the trees.

"Hey, look over there close to the tree with the branches like a curtain.." Sarah whispered to Flint.

"Am not sure she is the one… wait let me try something…" Sarah murmured.

"It isn't working... she is too far away from me," Sarah said, sounding frustrated.

"What did you try.. ?" Flint asked, looking confused.

"A mind link..." Sarah said like it was no big deal.

"You can mind link someone….?" Flint asked in astonishment.

"Hey we have to find a way to get to Ulanni .." Sarah started looking at Flint who had not still gotten her mind around the fact that people can share mind links in the human realm.

"We could always climb back down, walk over to her tree and call her to get down from her tree..poof ..problem solved." Flint answered like it was the most obvious thing to do.

"Okay then let's go get her." Sarah said in a rush.

"Can I ask you a question..?" Flint stopped her.

"We don't have time for questions, we have to get out of here first." Sarah tried brushing her off.

"We have enough time, whatever it is they are doing over there doesn't look like it will be ending anytime soon… so my question..?" Flint probed.
