Chapter 6 Weird day at school I

The floaters always float in their designated lines, there are no discs emitting light anywhere to be seen, as this is a place for the rich and famous, nobody would want their children to be seen publicly as lesser than a teacher that, for example, is like Emma who just comes from a well off family. 

Still this doesn't change the fact that class based discrimination is highly used in this academy, it's just that it's hidden from the outside.

So instead of there being lights, the separation is simple and less obvious at a first glance, first year students float closer towards the light grey ground, the second year students float a few metres above them, and the third year students float above them as well. 

Finally the faculty, all float even higher up than them, only the principal, the one who was selected to be in charge of the whole academy from the 5 different countries floats above everyone else. 

The reason why people cannot fall off from the floating platforms is simple, it's just a different application to the same technology that allows the car or floaters to float in the air, only this time it stabilises the inertia making it seem like you are on a walk instead. 

If you are wondering why people cannot just fly above the sea and explore, that's simple. 

The answer is people have already done that, no other landmass has ever been seen on this blue planet, only the sea is completely untouched by humans as the sea beasts are simply too terrifying. 

Nuclear type weapons work on them, but they are countless in number, making it totally impractical to use them, not to mention the environmental impact. 

While floating Kaile passed by many buildings, as he is only in the second year the height in which he floats is at the same level as a four story building.

Kaile saw many students going from here to there, as it's early in the morning it's likely everyone is heading towards class. 

Some time passed and Kaile could see a building in front of him, the building was made out of glass but the glass was not transparent, the colour of the white glass was giving one the feeling of holiness. The feeling of holiness is further supported by the fact the building is surrounded by all the other buildings in this history sector, the other building gives off the impression of showing homage towards the central building. 

The sunrays that shine down on the building don't help either as it makes the building glow subtly, inexplicably making the other students that are not part of class 1-A in the history sector feel inferior. 

Although Kaile has no ambition to learn, with a mother that teaches history and is quite good at it, it's naturally impossible for his academic studies in history to be weak at all. 

So when he lands at the central building along with Emma and Sophia, it's naturally not surprising. 

Emma is resound in this academy as the most knowledgeable person when it comes to history, this isn't particularly anything special as any teacher that's outstanding in a field , will also teach in the central building similar to the one Emma teaches in. In fact four more teachers excluding Emma teach in the central building. It's just that Emma is the most outstanding, therefore she teaches on the top floor.

This school teaches a wide variety of subjects, for example English, cooking ,bowmen ship etc.

They teach this to the absolute pinnacle of the 5 countries.

Not only is it a sign of prestige to graduate from this academy but, it's also a gateway to something greater.

What that is nobody knows as it's all top secret information, not even the teachers are aware, although there is a word that calculates among the teachers that students don't know about. 

That word is Domination.

''Come on, go into the classroom and sit down, I'll be there shortly.'' Emma said, as she walked off in the opposite direction to the classroom, towards her office.

Kaile and Sophia walked into the building, the front entrance of the building was nothing special, just white glass. The reflection of Kaile and Sophia was visible but strangely the sun rays were not blinding, only when floating above would it have this effect.

Upon entering through the automatic sliding doors, Kaile and Sophia where meet with an open hall, the floor was light grey, in the middle of the floor are stairs, you'll find no elevators in the whole school other than the main 30 floor building, as the school promotes fitness.

Kaile and Sophia head to the top floor in which their lessons are being taught.

Reaching the top floor, in front of Kaile and Sophia is a light brown door, behind this door is the classroom, the entire floor is made up of an open classroom, with chairs and tables fanning out in a row side by side, until the ends of the floor.

Naturally with Kaile and Sophia's mother teaching them, they were not allowed to sit anywhere else other than the front row, directly in front of Emma.

Emma is the type of teacher that is strict, she takes no nonsense from anyone, but as a person from a well off family she can not reprimand students, so in the end she just ignores the ones who don't want to learn and teaches the ones who do. 

You might think that because people are in the central building of a sector, a place that's hard to reach, a place that most students spend their whole academic life trying to get to but cannot due to inadequacy, the students here would all be well behaved, and like the typical classroom presidents you see in Japanese novels. 

Well that's only because those classroom presidents were, well. Normal.

No matter how you look at it, if one goes to a public high school, or any typical rich school in general, the people learning there will all be average in the grand scheme of things in the world, and the so-called geniuses are simply hard working people. 

But real geniuses take in knowledge like drinking water, they can understand how to walk on one leg, while staring up into the clouds, counting them while not walking into anyone or anything. 

So it's no surprise that some people just talk all throughout the lesson, seemingly about random things, but this doesn't take away from the fact that they are not listening to the lesson, nor does it take away from the fact that it's still a distraction, for not only the teacher but the other students as well, but, what can a well off teacher do against a son of a world leader for example, because that's the kind of people that go to this school and, all the five worlds most powerful country leaders children are in this history class. 

As Kaile opened the door.

Swoosh.

A colourful rubber ball the size of a fist glided across the air, its momentum showed no signs of stopping and in fact looked like it was picking up speed.

Kaile's eyes widened, and his pupils constricted into needles, his right hand moved without him needing to think about it but, just at that moment as if he remembered something, his whole body dodged to the right while the ball was still a few feet in front of him.

Sophia was looking down at her phone but, due to the commotion she looked up in front of her, seeing a colourful soft rubber ball heading for her face she was stunned, a look of resentment flashed in her eyes as she quickly understood what Kaile had just done, if he was no longer in front of her but a rubber ball was, that can only mean one thing but. 

Just as the ball was about to hit her in the face, a light caramel hand appeared in front of her tender face, catching the ball with minimal effort. 

What a joke! 

Do you really think that a person that learnt martial arts despite being trash at it, just to protect his family would ever allow such in justice to happen to his own sister, right in front of his eyes at that. 

Kaile just wanted to see the look of panic on his sister's face but, in the end he was just left with disappointment, it seems it would be a lot more difficult to get back at his sister for all the teasing he has suffered. 

Kaile could only see a look of resentment in her eyes, there was nothing else, not even the slightest panic could be seen, and that's when he heard her soft voice, that sounded like she just won something only she knew about, resounded in his ears. 

''Do you really think I would fall for that? An overprotective brother, will always be an overprotective brother, no matter what in the end.'' She couldn't stop a smirk from forming at the corner of her lips, she didn't once look at Kaile and after her little speech, she walked into the classroom like a queen, further teasing her foolish brother.

Kaile just stood there with a look of shock on his face, he really thought he would get his sister this time, never once in his life has he ever even remotely done something like that, even if it's a joke he would never put his sister into harm's way, it's just that he recently broke through into the purple rank of martial arts, and was absolutely confident he was able to stop it, so he did that but.

Who would've thought his sister had such a strong belief in him, although that ball wouldn't have injured someone, it was enough to leave a red mark on their face. 

Kaile could only enter the classroom obediently, he didn't even try to look for the person that through the ball, he simply couldn't afford to do so, but that doesn't mean he will casually allow people to bully him, or his family.

In fact, it's well known in this class that, no matter who you are, if you mess with Kaile's bottom line, even if you are the world leader's child, he wouldn't mind teaching you a lesson. 

In fact this has happened before in the past but, for some reason nothing happened to Kaile afterwards, you would think his whole family would be killed off for beating up a young master of that caliber but, strangely enough nothing happened in the end…
