Chapter 33 A change of attitude II

Still biting her nails she said.

''Isn't it best to get them on board now? Why wait for so long? What if something happens to them?''

The butler sighed gently, and began to explain patiently and respectfully for the thousand time since arriving. 

15 minutes ago, before the carriers set off towards the Nuit family. 

The head butler was standing behind the Neutral country leader, as he was given the command to set off, he bumped into Salia, the young miss of the Dune family. 

Even though the head butler of the Dune family, technically has more authority, and even respect then the young miss of the family.

Everyone in the Dune family, deeply cares for the young miss, the only heir to the family. 

The head butler sees the young miss as his granddaughter, he was even around when the young master was growing up, hence why he is so respected.

As the head butler sees Salia like his granddaughter, he is unable to lie to her, so when she asked him where he was going, he tolled her where. 

Hearing he was going towards the Nuit family, she insisted on coming along, he didn't even try to object knowing it would be pointless. 

As due to her nagging him, the head butler convinced, the leader of the Dune family, not to harm the Nuit family, and even to help them out.

Stating things like, if the Nuit family is hurt the young miss's mantel health will decline. 

The Leader of the Dune family, is what people would call, a dad-con, how could he allow something bad to happen to his little daughter. 

So reluctantly, he didn't pursue the matter with Kaile and his daughter, but at the same time, he doesn't approve of their relationship. 

Hents why, in the background, as soon as he noticed why his precious daughter was going to such an orphanage every week, he had the boy adopted the same day.

Hoping his daughter would soon get over this infatuation she had with the boy, unfortunately over time the situation only continued to grow worse.

Sometimes, when you are young, and you want something, but are not allowed to get it, you'll become more fixated on the idea of getting that thing. 

Now only two things generally happen in these kinds of situations. 

If you don't have money as a family, after sometime, you'll most likely forget about it, but deep in your heart, that disappointment of not been able to get the thing you wanted, will subtly affect the way you see things, and in the future, you might not insist on having something you want. 

The other one is, if your family has the money and ability to get what you want, as a child that has been given everything you want, to suddenly be told no, instead of backing down, or forgetting with disappointment, emotions like anger, or resentment to the one who stopped you from getting what you want would pop up instead. 

Leading to the current scenario, where Salia, could only watch Kaile from afar without interfering with his life. 

She was also the reason why Kaile never suffered from any punishment when he beat up that leader's child. 

As her father, threatened that leader subtly. 

Even though the Dune family can be considered a pawn, that doesn't mean it has no teeth to bite. 

If once leader wants to suppress the Dune family, it wouldn't be possible, as the interests of the over 4 countries will be stepped on, with this in mind, the leader whose son was beaten up, had no choice but to back dawn, and control the situation, this lead to the leaders son failing to assassinate and cause other clique damage to Kaile's normal life. 

As Salia watched the tensions grow, she became more and more nervous, thoughts like, 'what if someone shoots Kaile and his family? What if Kaile hates me for not stepping in straight away?'

A Salia, has been secretly watching Kaile from afar, she well knows his desires, and his well endowed emotion of wanting to protect his family at any costs, so in this delicate situation, when his family is at the mercy of others, but she just sits back and does nothing, just what king of reaction would Kaile have?

Lets say nothing happens, that still doesn't change the fact that you could of done something, but in the end didn't, and in the event something did happen, instead of Kaile blaming the captain who shot the laser or something else like that which harmed his family, his attention would fall on Salia, as she could have, but didn't help him in his time of need. 

As someone so paranoid in family protection as Kaile is, you could imagine the outcome of such an action.

So with this all in mind, Salia was unable to stand by and watch, so in the end she just simply acted on her own.

The head butler watched as Salia made a random excuse and walked away, of course he understands what she is thinking, as he helped to raise her, not to mention he is responsible for supporting her desire to be with Kaile in the first place. 

Out of everyone in the family, it's properly only him that supports their relationship, or more accurately, he supports her happiness over all other things. 

Salia's father is too protective of her, if he had his way, nobody alive is worthy enough to marry his precious daughter, let alone some commoner. 

As for her mother, she simply has high standards, it's not like she looks down on the common people, but its just that most common people will never be able to reach the bottom line of her expectations she has set for the perfect son in law. 

At the same time Salia went away to board a military hovercraft. Within the X counties carrier captains deck, the captain waved his hand, and his hologram reconstructed his image outside of the carrier. 

Now however unlike before, his eyes that were once kind and friendly, were now filled with killing intent.

Emma who this time, was watching that specific carrier, as she noticed that was their only hope, but now as she gazes at the man that one seemed like the hope of their situation, her hope of her family coming out of this situation in one piece began to crumble.

And that's when the captain of X country spoke up, his voice was no longer kind, but instead carried an ominous tone, like he was talking to the worst scum on the planet he once believed to be saints, but later found out they were actually evil. 

''Miss Nuit, you and your entire family are to come with us, you are suspected of conspiracy of the highest order.''

''What!'' The other captains blurted out, no longer able to just talk amongst themselves like everything was a done deal. 

To be suspected of such a high level crime, that can only mean one thing.
