(1) The Gamer......

Looking at the screen in front of me, my eye twitched seeing it, this was no longer a hallucination like I wanted to be and the feeling I was getting just confirmed it.

Looking down at the pile of Coke that is on my table I can't think of anything else to do, no matter how much I try to do I feel nothing no high at all. Sighing I picked up the wastebasket next to me a swept everything into it, there goes $6,000 worth of good product down the drain.

This had been happening to me for a week now and I had no clue what it was even for or what it was, luckily I have played games before so it was easy for me to be able to think logically. I was able to call my status the moment I got it but I was high at the time and didn't believe it.

Other than those I had two Skills beside the drug resistance they were.

The Gamer's Mind was the only reason that I wasn't freaking out and Gamer's Body was helping me not have hang overs from the night before. I have been in my basement room since I bought the Coke so I haven't been out in the real world yet to see if anything is different about me other than this.

Looking at it I clicked yes and decided I needed to clear my head anyway so what was the harm in going out, looking down at my clothes I decided to shower first though I was dirty. After my shower I threw on the only clean shirt I had left and jeans and went out, my mom was shocked to see me coming out of the basement but I ignored her for now.

Above her head though was something that I wasn't expecting [April King, Housewife, LVL 4] well it looks like I can see some things about other people. I tried to look closer but nothing happen so I continued my journey outside to see if anything else could happen.

Well that will be helpful, I thought to myself while walking down the street I had been looking at everything and other than names I wasn't see anything. Even with the skill it only told me a single sentence about how they felt the rest was all blank when I looked at it.

After walking for awhile that appeared and I was a little happy to accomplish something even if it was something that little. Looking around though I was near Central Park, I wanted to see what else I would gain from this so I decided to go check it out.

It took a minute but I was finally able to find a place in the park where no one else was, walking to the middle of the field I felt like I should do something so I tried shadow boxing. After ten minutes I was rewarded with the skill Boxing but it was still level one even if I did take it as a kid, that answered my question about whether the skills would be set at level one or not.

'For finding something out without the systems help +2 WIS' popped up in front of me but I sent it away and did so much more in the little space I had, but what kept bugging me was my description. Wasn't I just the gamer why did it seem like it wasn't talking about that but something different, then again that was a job and not really me.

I thought about it and since I had nothing to lose then I accepted it, though it would be hard to figure out what it was seeing that I didn't know where to start. The first thought I had was to sit and meditate on it seeing as I didn't know where to start but then a problem occurred, how do I meditate.

Taking out my phone I looked over useful sights to learn how to meditate, when I learned some useful methods I sat at the base of a tree and followed the steps. Following what I read I sat there trying to drown out all of the noise around me and get into the head space where nothing could bother me, after what seemed like and hour I was in a peaceful state.

There was a ding from the system but I ignored it and fell into the state of peace, after another hour there was another ding but again I didn't let it get to me. After some time I felt something more that just in a peaceful state I could also feel the earth around me whispering in my ear.

It was like I was one with the earth and I could hear the trees, grass, and flowers around me whispering to me. The feeling was intoxicating and I didn't want to stop it at all, after awhile though I knew I needed to come out of it or I would never be able to stop.

Though I was looking for something to help me find out more about myself I ended up getting high on the world, looks like I found myself a new drug. Opening my eyes I saw the one of two screens in front of me and they were something I expected and at the same time I didn't expect.

There it was again but with the help of my new body constitution then it was easier to determine what I truly was, all I needed to do was look at anything that had to deal with Nature. Standing up I looked around and noticed that animals and plants were all around me even some flowers that weren't their before were currently in bloomed.

Well looks like it was time for a trip to the the library, getting up I heard my stomach growl and checked the time, it was five and I left before noon so I was sitting there for awhile. Might as well stop at a food truck along the way, I didn't even think about it and went to the nearest Vegetarian truck, it was one that served Veggie burgers made from beans and other plants.

I bought two along with sweet potato fries before moving on, the library close in two hours and it would be more helpful than my phone. One reason being that my phone was on 1% and that it would die if I even tried to look something up, it was the only reason I was going instead of just heading home.

After scarfing down my burgers I walked inside, the place was to big to figure out what I was looking for but I headed to the nonfiction part first to see if I can find something there. Walking into the section I looked along the shelfs, I stopped in my tracks though since I saw something that made my eyes go wide.

Some of the books were glowing at it was weird to see, looking at the closest I used my skill observe to see what was going on and was shocked to say the least. [Skill Book Language Spanish- Touch the book to learn this language.] That is what I was currently seeing and when I went to touch it it gave me the option of yes or no.

Not wanting to do it where others saw I grabbed it along with ten other language books that were there with it. Moving through the isles I abandoned my other task and picked up all the books that were glowing at the moment, when I got to a spot where no one could see me I accepted them all.

A flood of information went into my head from the languages to cooking, some of them even upgraded to the seeing as there was a lot that were similar. I was a little disappointed at the fact that there was some things that couldn't turn into skills but looking at the ones I currently had I figured it was enough.

After two hours of looking through every book there was in the nonfiction section dealing with the human body I figured that nothing here would tell me anything, plus side I did gain some points to my INT and WIS. After leaving those alone I went to a computer to search up anything that might be associated with this in any way.

As I looked over all the information I got it was easy for me to determine what my race could be but since there were about five it was pretty hard to know since the physical characteristics weren't there. Sighing I leaned back and seeing that it wouldn't hurt started making guesses towards my system.

'Well looks like I am an elf that is why nature is so close to me.' When nothing happen I kept going, 'I'm so good with the earth because I am part Gnome." that one I was glad wasn't right. This went on for thirty minutes until I decided to start combining the races so that it would give me more options.

On the three hundredth try, 'After years of realizing I am different I know it is because I am a Nine-Tailed Fairy King.' I said something random that had a different combination not knowing if it would work. This was the way to go seeing that a messaged popped up.

(Wanted to get this done quick, really didn't want to wait twenty chapters in since this will be major thing for the first volume.)

At sat there a moment and thought about what I was seeing it wasn't until I heard the warning about it being ten minutes until closing that I broke out of it. Getting up I immediately left the library, one I needed answers from my parents and two this was going to take a moment to digest.

The walk home cleared my head and it also let me know some things that related to my interesting encounter at the park. It made sense because Fairies are a nature type being and they live and love it which let's me know why so many plants and animals grew around me.

It was like being one with the Earth because my body is literally something that was made to love and be with the Earth, at least from my understanding. The one I needed to figure out though was the whole being a Nine-Tailed, the only thing I could think of is the mythical Nine-Tailed Fox.

This just made me have more questions though about what that part of me meant and if this is all true then where the hell is my tails and wings. Though it did answer why I was so handsome, seeing as both races are known for their beauty but I would figure out the wings and tails later.

Today I have found out that I am not human but a Nine-Tailed Fairy King, whatever the hell that will help with, and this is where I can say my life truly started.
